"Cough, Manager, I get it, after all, Betty is your employee, and I can understand that you want to have so sort of ’play’, but aren’t you two taking it a bit too far?" Alice looked at Chen Ze strangely, her eyes continuously drifting towards his pants, which left Chen Ze utterly speechless.
"Tsk, tsk, Mr. Manager, you’re quite... bold, aren’t you, for it to sll so strong..." Jack had a look of witnessing God, with such a thick scent, he wondered if Chen Ze had been completely drained by Betty?
"Stop sullying the reputation, you guys can still co in and eat. I just made Betty so hyacinth fried eggs, it’s not at all what you’re thinking, okay?" Chen Ze was sowhat speechless, feeling more wronged than Dou E herself.
"Hyacinth fried eggs? Why would you use such a dirty flower to make food?" Alice’s reaction intensified, suddenly feeling quite lucky that she had never tasted Chen Ze’s hyacinth fried eggs.
"Betty asked for it herself." Chen Ze sighed and then explained the whole story. After that, Alice and her brother sat down with so doubts.
"Betty, if you can’t handle it, just pour it out." Chen Ze entered the kitchen; he had to deal with the hyacinth fried eggs quickly, as the sll was affecting the restaurant’s business.
"No, I want to finish it... ugh... this isn’t hyacinth fried eggs, this is water in my brain." Tearful Betty unusually persistent, although she kept vomiting up the hyacinth fried eggs she had just eaten, she still stubbornly finished the entire plate.
Watching, Chen Ze’s mouth twitched uncontrollably, hoping Betty would learn her lesson for next ti, as so dishes really shouldn’t be tried on a whim.
However, Chen Ze also thought of another problem, which was the system notification that appeared after he finished making the hyacinth fried eggs.
[You have made a very bad plate of hyacinth fried eggs, Dark Cuisine cooking experience has increased by 0.01 points]
Yes, the hyacinth fried eggs, which Chen Ze had originally thought was a nonsense dish, actually gained system recognition and even unlocked a new cuisine called ’Dark’.
This made Chen Ze fall into deep thought at the ti, knowing all too well how tricky his own system could be, clear in his mind. But since the hyacinth fried eggs were acknowledged, it proved that making them was indeed viable—at least the system admitted it was possible to do so, only that Chen Ze had not found the right recipe for them.
"Manager, I’ve finished." By the ti Chen Ze snapped back to reality, Betty was utterly weak, but she had finished the plate of hyacinth fried eggs.
"Mm, well done, have so Lai i to drink on your own." Chen Ze didn’t know what to say and could only comfort Betty.
Afterward, Chen Ze used the Magic Circle to remove the unspeakable odor from the restaurant, and then he finally took off his mask.
"Betty, you... did well." Seeing Betty with tearful eyes, Alice said unenthusiastically.
After hearing that Betty wanted to eat the hyacinth fried eggs herself, Alice laughed for a long while, but seeing Betty with red and teary eyes, Alice felt she was laughing a bit too much.
"It’s okay... Alice, Jack, welco to Dream Restaurant, what would you like to eat?" Betty wiped her eyes and smiled at Alice and Jack.
"I’ll have an Iceberg Fresh Mountain, then a braised noodles and curry pork chop rice, and bring a cup of Lai i," Jack ordered quickly.
"I’ll have the sa as Jack. I don’t have anything particular I want to try this ti." Alice nodded; she felt there were too many delicious things at Chen Ze’s place, so much so that she didn’t know what to choose.
"Okay," Betty nodded, then went into the kitchen to tell Chen Ze what Alice and her brother wanted.
"No problem, and this is for you," Chen Ze nodded, and then he took out a leftover improved version of the chive pocket from the stear and handed it to Betty.
"Thank you, Manager," Betty said with gratitude, taking it. She knew this snack would leave a refreshing fragrance in her mouth after eating it.
"Brother, do you think we should give Betty sothing?" Alice whispered to him.
"I was thinking the sa, but we just ca out of the Diablo world and didn’t buy anything girls might like..." Jack also felt a bit of a headache.
They only had spoils from the Hell Demon on hand, but those items weren’t really suitable for Betty because they were imbued with a strong aura of Hell. If Betty wore them, it might make her even more evil.
That would be troubleso.
"Look, how about I give her this?" Alice took out a bottle from her pocket. It was a purple bottle, shimring with a purple glow, but it didn’t look very big.
"An Elixir? Okay, although this item isn’t very precious and its power is suppressed by the world’s rules, it can still have a pretty good recovery effect," Jack nodded, thinking it was a decent gift.
When Betty brought out the Lai i, she saw Alice and Jack smiling at her with a sowhat strange expression, like that of an old father looking at his daughter.
"Dear custors, here is your Lai i," Betty said, a bit confused, but still placed the two cups on the table for Alice and Jack.
"Thank you, Betty. This is a gift from us to you," Alice said with a smile, handing the Elixir to Betty.
"Huh? Thank you," Betty was even more puzzled now, not quite understanding why Alice and her brother were giving her this item.
Chen Ze chuckled from inside the kitchen; although he had been chopping vegetables, he had overheard the conversation between Jack and Alice. It seed his guests were very loving.
"Let think, should I try a different way of cooking this curry pork chop..." Chen Ze stroked his chin. He had just co up with another idea but wasn’t sure about the taste of the curry pork chop rice if it was made this way.
It could go either way: it might turn out to be even more delicious, or it might beco much worse. However, Chen Ze always felt that he might regret it if he didn’t try.
"Forget it, let’s do it this way. Let try," Chen Ze made a few cuts in the pork chops, then cooked a pot of curry before marinating the chops in the curry powder and adding cooking wine and other seasonings. He began to marinate the curry pork chops.
The rich scent of curry wafted through the air, slling very nice, but Chen Ze wasn’t feeling too confident about it.
"I hope nothing too serious goes wrong," Chen Ze touched his chin and then started working on the other dishes. This curry pork chop was an experint.
