Chen Ze was quite surprised when he glanced at the little girl. Initially, he thought she might be a lost child, but after checking, he discovered a problem: the girl seed to be a spiritual body—at least, the feeling was similar to that of Miss Kayako.

That being said, ever since Chen Ze had tossed the object used for the purification of evil spirits into Kayako’s world, Kayako had not appeared again; she was probably wiped out. It was better this way to avoid a new batch of people dying every ti Ju-On occurred.

And more importantly, he guessed that the ludicrous movie Sadako vs. Kayako would never appear in that world again.

"So.. little sister, would you consider coming to the restaurant to eat sothing? You must be very hungry, right?" Chen Ze said with a smile, looking at the young girl. Since he learned she was a spiritual body, he had brainstord a film script of ten thousand words in his head and even ca up with a title.

"No want... Uncle is definitely a bad person!" The little girl slamd the door shut, leaving Chen Ze with a puzzled face.

"I.." Chen Ze felt sowhat struck by her words. Wasn’t the young girl’s vigilance a bit too strong? It seed that her family cared a lot about her, but because of this, Chen Ze felt it was troubleso. Even though the girl had turned into a spiritual body, Chen Ze didn’t think her father would be able to find her unless he too beca a spiritual body.

"Still, I need to hurry up and accumulate experience points." Chen Ze shook his head. Although he didn’t know what would happen after he gathered enough experience points, he figured it would ultimately be good.

"Manager, the way you just spoke was wrong," Moriarty comnted with a smile, sipping his tea.

"It sounded like so priests with a penchant for children." Moriarty took another dig at Chen Ze.

"Alas, I can’t help it. I always feel like I speak impulsively without thinking, and I regret afterward that I could have spoken in a much better way," Chen Ze sighed, then felt content that a guy with little EQ and not particularly handso like him could find a girlfriend like Lafra.

"Manager, you might consider thinking before you speak; it would be better, and reading more wouldn’t hurt either," Moriarty suggested, pouring himself another cup of tea.

"Is it so? Speaking of which, last ti I talked to you about The Art of War by Sun Tzu, what do you think of it?" Chen Ze looked at Moriarty, curious to know how the arch-villain would rate it.

"It’s magical, impressive, and cos from ancient tactics in your Eastern world, simply incredible! Yet, Ronna finds it a bit tough to grasp, after all, it’s quite profound," Moriarty’s interest peaked at the ntion of The Art of War, which he found amazing.

"How about this; I’ll give you sothing, you could consider letting Ronna study it," Chen Ze recalled an old item he had stored on the second floor, a knock-off he had bought, but from a certain perspective, it seed quite suitable for Moriarty to use for teaching purposes.

"Alright, thank you," Moriarty nodded, sensing this was Chen Ze’s way of returning a favor.

"Speaking of which, Professor Moriarty, what have you been up to recently?" Chen Ze looked at Moriarty with curiosity.

Chen Ze had been quite concerned after the last long conversation between Moriarty and Nyarlathotep. He worried that Moriarty might devise so strange weapon that would be a major headache for Hols in the future.

"Researching stuff," Moriarty replied succinctly, seemingly uninterested in revealing his projects.

"I see..." Chen Ze nodded, thinking that perhaps next ti he should invite Hols to join them and have a talk with Nyarlathotep as well; otherwise, he always felt out of the loop.

"Betty sister! Mister Manager!" The energetic voice of Ronna interrupted Chen Ze’s train of thought.

"Ronna, you sit down for a bit, I’ll go make you a pizza," Chen Ze said with a smile, patting Ronna’s head. With Betty not around, he had no choice but to temporarily play waiter himself.

"Okay, Mr. Manager, where is Sister Betty?" Ronna looked confusedly at Chen Ze.

"I don’t know, she might have sothing going on?" Chen Ze said with a smile, taking a sip of his tea before heading back to the kitchen. It was almost noon, and if Betty still hadn’t shown up, Chen Ze would have to ask Lafra to check on her. It would actually be quite convenient if other custors showed up in the anti.

Moriarty watched Ronna, satisfied with the recap of the material he had taught before, nodding in approval. Ronna might not have mastered those knowledge points, but at least she had morized them, which ant she could slowly co to understand them over ti.

"Ronna, let’s review what I taught you yesterday. How about this, the manager just gave sothing, and today we’ll use it to learn about the miraculous military strategies from the East," Moriarty said with a smile, taking out a tal box and placing it on the table.

"Let see... this is the instruction manual... I have to say, this English is just terrible," Moriarty complained first. He had a hard ti understanding it, as it was completely nonsensical, but there were also Eastern Chinese characters below, which reassured Moriarty quite a bit.

"Co on, Ronna, draw one of these... general cards, and I’ll deal you a hand," Moriarty said, catching on very quickly.

Chen Ze was washing chicken feet, with the pizza already in the oven; now, he just needed to patiently wait. In the anti, Chen Ze could wash his chicken feet, which he would later use to make Dai-style lemon chicken feet.

"Though I’m not sure if Moriarty will know how to play the Three Kingdoms ga I gave him, it is indeed quite suitable for Moriarty to use," Chen Ze thought to himself, chuckling about the pirated version of Three Kingdoms he had bought.

He bought it during his college days, a tal box, and it was very cheap. Chen Ze, feeling nostalgic, decided to buy one, only to discover upon receiving it that it was a counterfeit. The characters on the Three Kingdoms cards were written in traditional Chinese and English, yet the craftsmanship was decent, so Chen Ze never threw it away. He hadn’t expected it to co in handy now.

Chen Ze poked his head out to take a look.

"Attack," Moriarty declared, throwing a card.

"Dodge," Ronna said seriously, looking at her hand of cards, and threw one as well.

The sight seed quite normal, but the way they were playing was a bit off.

Why are they adopting such an embarrassing pose, hey!

Chen Ze roared inwardly in mock frustration. Their thod of playing cards involved raising their hands up high, then bringing them to their chest, and finally slapping them down.

It looked like they were conducting so sort of bizarre ritual, causing Chen Ze’s mouth to twitch again and again.

Forget it, as long as they’re happy.

Chen Ze shook his head and then continued to sit down and wash his chicken feet.
