"How co you live inside my body?" Naruto looked at the Nine-Tails curiously as it lay on the ground.
"..." The Nine-Tails blinked its eyes, the first thing it saw was Lafra standing calmly beside it.
This woman had an incredibly terrifying aura, definitely a powerful being, terrifying indeed...
"My apprentice is asking you sothing," Lafra said, her eyes empty as she looked at the Nine-Tails, crimson energy gathering in her hands.
This made the Nine-Tails shiver and then it quickly answered Naruto’s question, "I am the... Nine-Tails. Don’t you know how I got inside you?"
"Eh? Nine-Tails?!" Naruto imdiately showed a terrified expression. He had been discriminated against since childhood and had heard the stories about the Nine-Tails.
Legend had it that the Nine-Tails brought disaster upon the village, causing the death of many, but in the end, it disappeared.
"It was your father who sealed up. That man sealed inside your body," the Nine-Tails said, and then it rembered the man with the blond hair.
Instantly, its mood worsened. If it wasn’t for Lafra still standing there, the Nine-Tails would have definitely chased Naruto away to avoid disturbing its mood.
"My... my father..." Naruto was stunned. He had grown up alone, celebrating birthdays by himself, always on his own.
Although he had sotis wondered what his parents were like, no one had ever told him.
The people around him looked at him with disdain. When he went into shops to eat, others would complain, and then the shopkeepers would drive him out. Only at Uncle Ichiraku’s ran shop could he eat a bowl of ran in peace.
Struggling with poverty, he often had to eat expired food to survive, but even so, Naruto never complained about anything.
And thus, Naruto lived until that day when he pushed open a strange wooden door and t the gentle man.
"What... what was my father like?" Naruto looked at the Nine-Tails eagerly. He really wanted to know what kind of person his father was, and why he could seal the demon fox inside his own body?
"You don’t know?" The Nine-Tails looked at Naruto with a scornful expression, and then it was glared at by Lafra and imdiately behaved.
"Your father was actually the Fourth Hokage. I thought you had already seen him on the rock faces," the Nine-Tails explained under Lafra’s watchful gaze.
Then it glanced at Lafra again but felt much more at ease, thinking about the seal in front of it. After all, this terrifying creature couldn’t get inside.
"My father... my dad... was the Hokage?" Naruto was dumbfounded for a mont. He had considered many possibilities, but he had never imagined that his father was the Fourth Hokage.
It was like an ordinary orphan suddenly discovering one day that his father was actually the wealthiest man in the world.
Lafra frowned. She had heard about the position of the Hokage from Chen Ze and knew it was sowhat akin to a race’s supre leader, a powerful figure in his own right.
However, she had never imagined that Naruto could be the child of the Hokage. So why had Naruto’s life been so difficult?
Before coming to Chen Ze’s restaurant, Lafra had made herself aware of the kind of food Naruto had to subsist on.
But then Lafra put those thoughts out of her mind, because now that she was there, Naruto wouldn’t have to live like that anymore.
"Interesting seal," Lafra said as she observed the cage in front of her, noting that this seal was completely different from a magic seal.
Lafra stretched out her hand, touched the iron bars of the cage, and without any delay, passed directly through them. Then, Lafra walked inside.
The Nine-Tails gaped, staring blankly at Lafra.
Before, it had wanted to laugh, after all, this woman actually had the naïve thought of touching the seal. But in the next second, she was inside without any issues with the seal whatsoever.
Lafra looked up and saw Nine-Tails in front of her, reaching out to touch its fur.
"An energy-congregated creature, huh." Lafra understood the make-up of Nine-Tails instantly, the enormous energy compared to Naruto, it simply couldn’t be concealed.
"Lie down," Lafra said calmly.
"Hmm..." Nine-Tails imdiately lay down, eagerly stretching its head over for Lafra to pet.
"Since you live inside my student’s body, paying so rent is quite normal," Lafra comnted while stroking Nine-Tails’ large head.
Nine-Tails looked confused. Why did it feel like it had heard this sentence before, as if many different people had said it to it multiple tis?
However, Nine-Tails quickly nodded. After all, his fox head was in soone else’s hands, so it was best to behave.
Lafra nodded in satisfaction, walked out, then took the still-dazed Naruto and left the space.
"What a terrifying person," Nine-Tails shook its head. But the next mont, it noticed a jar in its cage.
"What’s this?" Nine-Tails picked up the object, noting the red color and sothing inside it.
Then, Nine-Tails used its claws to pierce the outer shell and poured the contents into its mouth.
"Hmm..." Nine-Tails stared thoughtfully at the cola can in its hand.
"You’re back?" Chen Ze noticed the two had returned to normal, then placed a serving of bonito-flavored tofu in front of them.
"Yes." Lafra nodded, then picked up the chopsticks, placed a piece of tofu into her mouth, and nodded in satisfaction.
The tofu tasted exceptionally good, very tender, and the flavor was further enhanced by the bonito flakes.
"Naruto?" Chen Ze waved his hand to wake Naruto from his daze.
"What’s up?" Chen Ze looked at Naruto with concern and asked.
"The... The Third Hokage..." Naruto gazed blankly at Chen Ze.
"My dad was actually the Hokage!" Naruto jumped up, his face filled with excitent.
"All right, all right, go back and tell the Third Hokage later, just eat for now," Chen Ze smiled helplessly. Your dad is going to be resurrected by Edo Tensei anyway.
"Okay... okay, I’ll eat," Naruto sat down, his heart still racing as he clumsily picked up his chopsticks, snapping a piece of tofu.
Lafra scooped a spoonful of tofu and added it to Naruto’s curry pork katsu rice.
Naruto looked down at the tofu in his bowl, feeling his eyes well up.
"Hurry up and eat. After you’re done, I’ll check your magic reserves," Lafra said, taking a bite of her iced chestnut rice and exhaling in content.
"Okay!" Naruto cald down considerably, earnestly nodding his head and taking big mouthfuls of his al.
Chen Ze shrugged and went back to the kitchen to concentrate on the recipe in his hands.
