Mr. Stan looked at the trembling Betty with so surprise. He certainly knew that this waitress was a succubus, and moreover, a succubus from the Aephir family. Though their family’s mark had been erased, it was still very clear to Mr. Stan.

However, what Mr. Stan hadn’t expected was that this defective product could actually work in the Dream Restaurant, which piqued his interest slightly.

Through the long years, Mr. Stan had slowly lost interest in anything other than becoming stronger. Sotis, to break through, he could squat in the Sorrow Abyss for several years.

Now, Mr. Stan had one more interest, which was the Dream Restaurant.

Mr. Stan took another look at Betty and made the most basic judgnt.

An Aephir family’s defective product, a deserted succubus, had beco a human’s slave, but sohow ended up in this restaurant.

Only now had Betty managed to recover. When Mr. Stan had been looking at her earlier, she felt as if all her secrets were being seen through, as if her soul was laid bare for him.

"Manager, is it possible to use a succubus to settle the bill?" Mr. Stan asked a question.

Chen Ze was taken aback. He really didn’t know why Mr. Stan would think of this situation, but Chen Ze imdiately expressed his refusal. His place was a restaurant, not a slave shelter for other worlds.

Although Chen Ze considered himself a good person, this didn’t an that he planned to turn his restaurant into a slave shelter.

"That’s not possible, Mr. Stan. The restaurant does not accept succubi as paynt for als," Chen Ze quickly shook his head.

"Alright," Mr. Stan nodded, not caring, for he had brought so ingredients with him today.

Twenty servings of Buffet were not a challenge for Chen Ze now; it was just a warm-up to get him into the right state.

After finishing three servings, Chen Ze called Betty, who was still shivering in the restaurant, in.

"Betty, use the tray—yes, this one—to carry these three servings of Buffet over to Mr. Stan. Take them one cup at a ti, then bring the tray back, understand?" Chen Ze was a bit worried as Betty seed to lack experience as a waitress.

Moreover, facing Mr. Stan, the Undead Monarch, as the first custor was a concern for Chen Ze. He worried whether Betty might accidentally trip and sar Mr. Stan’s face with Buffet.

"Yes... yes, Manager..." Betty’s voice trembled as she spoke.

Chen Ze pursed his lips, hoping for the best, as Mr. Stan was not a patient custor.

But as Murphy’s Law would have it, the more you hope sothing doesn’t happen, the more likely it is to occur.

Under Chen Ze’s anxious gaze, Betty walked out carrying the tray, inching forward step by step, the three glasses trembling and making an odd noise.

Mr. Stan also raised his head, watching Betty co over, or more accurately, the three servings of Buffet she was carrying.

Chen Ze had made so changes this ti. It was becoming a bit too monotonous to always use the sa fruits, so he tried using different fruits in each serving of Buffet.

Mr. Stan noted these changes but was still looking forward to Chen Ze’s cooking.

The intensity of Mr. Stan’s gaze only increased Betty’s pressure. Her entire body shook even more violently, and suddenly, quite abruptly, Betty fell.

"Ah!" A scream ca from Betty as she sohow tripped herself over her own feet, taking a nasty fall.

"Plop" ca from the Buffet, and if it were an ordinary custor, perhaps nothing could be done, but Mr. Stan was the Undead Monarch. He smoothly caught his dish with a hand of magic and placed it on the table.

Chen Ze shook his head, looking at Betty sitting on the ground and wiping her tears. It was a bit distressing. So far, Betty had done okay in other tasks, but she tended to ss up when facing these powerful beings.

"Betty, co here." Chen Ze waved Betty over to the kitchen.

Betty, holding a tray, ran to the kitchen, her head lowered, not daring to look directly into Chen Ze’s eyes. If it wasn’t for Stan catching Buffet himself, Betty felt there was an 80% chance she would have died.

It was no joke. Betty was certain that when she fell, she sensed a strong killing intent emanating from Stan, and that was what brought her to tears.

The killing intent of the Undead Monarch, even just a sliver, just for a mont, was like spending a year in the Sorrow Abyss for Betty. At that mont, she felt her soul freeze.

"Sigh... Why are you so afraid of Mr. Stan?" Chen Ze felt so tired today.

"Because he is the King of Undead, Your Highness..." Betty felt innocent, as anybody from the negative plane, aside from the Blood Ancestor of the Blood Clan, would hold the utmost awe for Stan.

Chen Ze stroked his chin, still sowhat puzzled.

"Is Mr. Stan really that strong?" Chen Ze was not very clear about the affairs of the other world; he only knew that Sebastian, the Black Dragon, could not defeat Stan.

"Mr. Stan is the most qualified candidate to beco the next Lord of Negative Plane among the undead," Betty exclaid, surprised that a mage with such a deep understanding of space-ti magic would be unaware of this.

Chen Ze thought it over, realizing that if he were in that situation, he would be nervous too, but he wouldn’t have been so careless.

"In any case, there can’t be any more mistakes like this." Chen Ze seriously instructed Betty.

"Co on, these are the remaining seventeen servings of Buffet; take them out." Chen Ze pointed at the prepared Buffets and then took off his headband.

"Boss..."

"If you really want to keep working at my restaurant, then you must adapt to this job." Chen Ze cut off Betty’s words, continuing to refine his braised chicken.

Betty looked at Chen Ze, focused on his cooking, then glanced at Stan, who was almost finished eating. Clenching her teeth, she placed three servings of Buffet on the tray, took a deep breath, and walked out.

"Please enjoy, sir," Betty stamred out the words she was instructed to say.

Stan nodded, taking the Buffet and continuing to savor it without probing into Betty’s thoughts.

As Chen Ze cooked the braised chicken, he listened to the commotion in the restaurant. Hearing Betty’s words, he finally smiled with satisfaction.

"D*mn it..." The consequence of being distracted was Chen Ze scalding his hand with the boiling soup.

Fortunately, it was not serious.

"Boss, I’d like to pay." Stan ate quickly, and by the ti Chen Ze finished applying burn ointnt, he was ready to settle the bill.

Chen Ze walked out just to see three completely different ingredients added to the table, it seed these were what Stan had prepared for the al fee.

"Mr. Stan, I apologize, but I would like to use sothing else in place of today’s al fee," Chen Ze said a bit awkwardly, after all, he had previously asked Stan to bring ingredients.

"Oh? What would that be?" Stan looked at Chen Ze, puzzled.

"I would like to ask Mr. Stan to lift the restrictions on Betty," Chen Ze stated simply and clearly.

Betty looked at Chen Ze in amazent; she had never considered such a possibility.
