Chen Ze curiously sized up the creature in front of him, which, according to reason, should only exist in fantasy. It was indeed his first ti seeing a living demon standing before him.

However, Chen Ze didn’t forget about business. He reached out and pressed a stone slab, activating Arcane Wisdom.

"Where is this..." The female demon in front of him looked quite pretty, even though she spoke in a feeble manner.

"This... guest, welco to Dream Restaurant. May I ask what you’d like to eat?" Chen Ze put on a headband, always full of expectation whenever a custor ca in.

It was like unlocking a new NPC in a ga; Chen Ze was filled with curiosity for the unknown.

"Humans!" The demon stepped back in horror.

The corner of Chen Ze’s mouth twitched. What the heck, shouldn’t he be the one retreating in fear right now? Why was it the demon who got scared!

"Could it be that my face is that frightening to demons..." For the first ti in his twenty-six years, Chen Ze started to doubt his own appearance.

"Huff... I knew it, why else would a door appear in the prison... so this is it," the demon chuckled, her tone full of resignation to her demonic fate.

"You’ve won, since you’ve snatched from the other nobles, then I am all yours now. Succubus Betty has seen her new master." Succubus Betty bowed her head, humbly performing a curtsy.

Chen Ze was completely befuddled, unable to comprehend what was going on. Why had the story suddenly taken a turn in so fanciful direction?

Chen Ze evaluated the succubus; it was undeniable that her appearance and voice were top-notch, naturally filled with seductive allure, even if she was a flat-chested girl.

And...

Chen Ze noticed that Betty was wearing anklets and there was a black collar on her neck, which at first he had thought were just accessories. He now guessed they were probably things that restricted the succubus.

"Master, how would you like to punish ~" Betty lifted her head, her eyes soft and pleading as she gazed directly at Chen Ze.

This made Chen Ze panic, and what alard him even more was her apparent intent to disrobe.

"Wait! Wait! I don’t know where you got this misunderstanding from, but I am not your master, this is a restaurant! Please don’t undress here!" Chen Ze hastily stopped Betty’s intention.

"Is that so... Master likes to play this kind of role, huh? I understand," said Betty as she clenched a fist to her palm.

Betty stepped closer to Chen Ze with the sound of her anklets clinking, and Chen Ze matched her step for step, moving backward.

"So, Mr. Chef, how would you like to ’prepare’ ~" Betty sat in a chair, her alluring gaze fixed on Chen Ze.

Chen Ze rolled his eyes; he was too lazy to explain. It was clear that this was a succubus corrupted by feudal thinking, completely incapable of normal communication.

It was likely that whatever he said, in her view, would rely be interpreted as so new routine to toy with.

"Sigh, just wait, I’m going to prepare a dish for you." Chen Ze sighed and walked into the kitchen, planning to prove through action that what he had said was the truth.

Betty maintained an enticing smile, watching Chen Ze’s silhouette; she had grown accustod to this, at least this ’master’ seed relatively normal.

Chen Ze took a bear’s paw from the freezer. He had asked Chen Xingchen about it, but his sister also didn’t know how to cook such high-end ingredients, so it had just been sitting in the freezer.

"Brother, although our family has its own cooking thods, we are not that kind of big shot chef, and we don’t have a way to prepare a bear’s paw either. You might as well treat the bear’s paw as ordinary at," was the solution Chen Xingchen had provided.

So Chen Ze finally gave up on the idea of making a dish directly out of the bear’s paw. He now planned to cut so at off the paw and make a serving of braised pork to serve to the poisoned succubus.

The braised Moonlight Bear at wasn’t Chen Ze’s first attempt; he had tried making a serving before.

The bear at from the Moonlight Bear was fundantally different from ordinary at. When Chen Ze cautiously made the first cut, he realized this.

There was no Furious Wind, no magical forces at all, which made Chen Ze, who had braced himself, breathe a sigh of relief.

But from the at he cut off, Chen Ze discovered why the bear was associated with the moonlight.

The bear at had an unusual halo. After Chen Ze turned off the lights, he found that it indeed resembled moonlight—gentle and not blinding.

"Tsk, is it really okay to cook with this stuff? It won’t cause any trouble, right?" Chen Ze was sowhat worried, but he still chose to believe the words of the Undead Monarch.

Following the steps for making braised pork, Chen Ze quickly finished a serving of Moonlight Bear at braised pork. However, he noticed an issue—the Moonlight Bear’s at seed to cook too quickly, at least it was overly soft once done.

[You have made a barely satisfactory serving of braised pork, gaining 3.5 points in homade dish experience.]

Looking at the assessnt, Chen Ze was indifferent. It was his first ti anyway, he could slowly improve next ti.

Glancing at the bear at, which still carried a moonlight halo even after being turned into braised pork, Chen Ze picked up the remaining at with chopsticks and gave it a try.

The flavor was great, it was the taste of braised pork, but the at was too soft, which felt a bit uncomfortable to eat. It seed he needed to reduce the cooking ti next ti.

With the lesson from last ti, Chen Ze worked faster this ti. After turning off the fla, he scooped out the braised pork from the pan.

[You have made a better serving of braised pork, gaining 7.5 points in homade dish experience.]

Chen Ze smiled contentedly. He wouldn’t serve his custors subpar or experintal goods.

After scooping up a bowl of rice, Chen Ze placed the braised pork and rice on a plate, carried it out, and placed it before Betty.

Betty was completely surprised. She really hadn’t expected the new master to actually serve up a dish that slled so delicious, and after he said "Please enjoy" and returned to the kitchen.

Betty sniffed; it slled wonderful, utterly different from anything she had eaten before.

It seed unadulterated, Betty judged. She had thought the new master, Chen Ze, would add sothing to it, but it didn’t seem like it from the sll.

Betty touched the collar on her neck with a forlorn expression. If not for that, she could have used magic to check.

Betty calmly scooped up a spoonful of braised pork and ate it with rice.

Her eyes instantly widened. She had never tasted such delicious food before and, moreover, after finishing the at, she felt her body’s magic power increase ever so slightly. Although it was subtle, it was already so much better compared to before when she couldn’t sense any magic at all.

Chen Ze watched as Betty ate faster and faster, and he smiled with satisfaction.

Betty stared blankly at the empty plate in front of her, where nothing remained—not even the sauce. It was as clean as if it had just been washed.

"Was the al to your satisfaction?" Chen Ze asked with a smile, standing next to her.
