What does Dragon at taste like? Chen Ze had never eaten it, but that didn’t an he wasn’t curious.

Chen Ze wiped the drool from the corner of his mouth, imagining Dragon at must be quite delicious, though he had no idea how to obtain it. Surely not from those two dragons, as he lacked the strength.

"However, it seems that acquiring ingredients from another world is worth considering," Chen Ze turned off the restaurant’s lights, yawned and went back to his bedroom.

"I should install a reminder device on the restaurant’s door soti, otherwise I never know when these custors will show up." Lying in bed, he glanced at his phone, which had regained signal, and instantly broke into a cold sweat.

There were notifications for missed calls received during the signal blocking period, not many, just five. Two were from his father, two from his mother, and one was a missed call from his sister.

And one last ssage from his father.

"Star, your sister will co to the provincial capital to find you tomorrow. She’s expected to arrive at 8:30 AM." A simple and straightforward ssage.

Chen Ze sat up in bed instantly, feeling his easy days were gone forever. Moreover, it would be a problem to explain the restaurant to his sister when she saw it.

After all, Chen Ze had not yet inford his family about inheriting a restaurant. He still transferred money to his parents’ accounts on ti every month, and gave his sister so pocket money as well.

Therefore, his family didn’t know much about his affairs, and he never ntioned the restaurant during their regular video chats.

Especially since the restaurant he inherited was not a normal one. If so strange custors showed up, it would be even more troubleso.

The re thought of it made Chen Ze feel like he was losing hair, his hairline receding another milliter.

Chen Ze sighed. He could only take it one step at a ti tomorrow and hoped his sister was just coming over to play for a few days.

The next morning, Chen Ze got up early, dressed in a decent outfit after washing up, and left ho. He hailed a taxi and went straight to the train station.

He checked the ti; it was 8:27 AM and the train should be arriving soon.

Soon enough, Chen Ze saw the arriving train and his sister disembarking from it.

"Isn’t that my brother? You finally didn’t just stick to your bed," a young girl with a smile said to Chen Ze.

Chen Ze looked at the graceful young girl standing before him and touched his nose. He really wasn’t used to interacting with this sister of his but still took her suitcase from her hands.

"What brings you to the provincial capital? Shouldn’t you be in class now?" Chen Ze asked, puzzled, as he recalled that it should be a school day.

Chen Xingchen glanced at Chen Ze, holding her own bag and puffed her mouth, humming.

"Hmph, how long has it been since you last visited ho? Dad sent to transfer schools to the provincial capital and also to ask a certain soone why he resigned," she said.

"How did you know I quit my job?" Chen Ze frowned; he was sure he hadn’t told his family about it.

"That’s a girl’s secret," Chen Xingchen gave Chen Ze a cold look.

Chen Ze was baffled. Though he only visited his hotown for the holidays to see his parents and family, he was certain his sister did not have the traits of a detective.

Chen Ze hailed another taxi and got into the front seat.

"Don’t worry, I haven’t told mom and dad about you quitting your job," Chen Xingchen followed Chen Ze and sat in the back seat of the taxi.

"And also, are you working at the Dream Restaurant now?" Chen Xingchen asked another question that caught Chen Ze off guard.

Chen Ze turned his head and looked at his sister with a strange expression. He was now beginning to wonder if his sister had secretly co to the provincial capital to watch him—how else would she know the na of the restaurant?

"How did you..." Chen Ze couldn’t finish his question, as he knew he would just get the sa response about a girl’s secret.

Chen Xingchen played with her phone, a smile on her face that made Chen Ze’s liver tremble.

"Oh~ my mistake, brother, I ant to ask, when did you beco the owner of a restaurant in the center of the city?" Chen Xingchen’s eyes were fixed on Chen Ze.

Chen Ze swallowed hard. Here it ca again. Ever since Chen Xingchen had started elentary school, she had always managed to grasp Chen Ze’s little secrets and rcilessly exposed them—always with a touch of mockery.

Whenever Chen Xingchen’s gaze beca sharp, it ant that Chen Ze was about to be exposed... ah no, his hidden secrets were about to be revealed.

The taxi driver beside them looked at Chen Ze with surprise. He had never imagined that Chen Ze would be the owner of a restaurant in the city center—he didn’t look like a tycoon at all.

"The restaurant in the city center, huh~ it must be worth at least tens of millions, right? Brother, I am really curious," Chen Xingchen leaned over the back of the car seat, looking at Chen Ze with a strange gaze.

The taxi driver couldn’t help but shiver; he had nearly hit the brakes just now. The girl’s aura was too intimidating.

And Chen Ze, the target of Chen Xingchen’s attention, felt even worse. He had a feeling that if he didn’t co clean today, this matter might reach their parents.

Plus, Chen Ze rembered that his sister had practiced martial arts.

"Ahem, Star, let’s wait until we arrive before I explain, okay? Which school are you transferring to? When do you need to go through the transfer procedures?" Chen Ze coughed dryly, trying to change the subject.

Chen Xingchen sat back down, flexing her wrists, checked her phone, and then answered Chen Ze’s question. "I’m transferring to the First City High School. I’m going there tomorrow morning at nine to take care of the transfer."

"We’ve arrived," the taxi driver interrupted Chen Ze just as he was about to speak.

After paying the fare, Chen Ze led his sister to the entrance of Dream Restaurant. Under Chen Xingchen’s threatening gaze, Chen Ze trembled as he used the key to open the door.

"All gods and buddhas bless... Please don’t let there be any mysterious guests..." Chen Ze slowly pushed the door open, peeked inside, and thankfully, there was no one there.

"What are you doing? You’re not involved in sothing shady, are you?" Chen Xingchen looked at him suspiciously.

"Hey, no way," Chen Ze, seeing that there was no one, felt sowhat relieved and pushed the door open wider to usher Chen Xingchen inside.

"You better not be, or I want to see how you explain it to mom and dad," Chen Xingchen rolled her eyes. Chen Ze’s behavior just now was exactly like that of soone with a guilty conscience.

Chen Xingchen followed Chen Ze, looking around the restaurant. Although she had already researched it on her phone, now that she was actually standing inside, she was still a bit curious.

The decor was very ordinary, nothing strange, and there was no suspicious sll. This eased Chen Xingchen’s mind a bit.

"See, I told you it was fine," Chen Ze said triumphantly as he turned around.

Then he saw the door being pushed open and a skeleton wearing a lavish robe walked in.

Chen Ze’s smile froze completely.
