"Hold your fire! I got hostage, so back off!"

The young man stared intently at Stella, the barrel of the gun aid at Kim’s forehead.

"OK, OK, EASY!" Stella slowly lowered her hand from the gun handle. She looked at sowhat strangely.

I took a drag from my cigarette. This was the last situation I wanted to see. The young man could have left, but the female officer’s intervention made the situation chaotic.

Without the police, the young rookie would be easy to deal with because if he just left, no one would be in trouble, but now it’s different.

Even if the rookie didn’t kill anyone or intentionally cause harm, robbery itself is a serious charge.

Moreover, the female officer could very likely shoot him.

"Damn it, what are you doing?"

The female officer shouted at . She retreated to the entrance of the convenience store and pressed her intercom.

"Upper East Side, convenience store at the corner of Third Street encountering a robbery, situation A5, repeat, A5."

The young man stared at my face, "Is she calling for backup?"

I tilted my head looking at him, "Yeah, and the situation level is elevated, which ans it’s dangerous, and they can shoot freely."

"Fuck!" The young man’s arm trembled, "Put the gun down, put it on the ground, or I’ll shoot."

"OK! Calm down!" Stella extended her hand to the young man, slowly unhooking her holster, lifting her handgun, placing it on the ground, and kicking it toward the young man’s feet.

"Now what do I do? Ask for a car?" The young man curiously looked at .

Kim stifled a laugh.

I sipped the soup.

The convenience store slled of instant noodles.

What is this?

The female officer’s brain couldn’t keep up, a robber asking a convenience store custor what to do?

The convenience store owner’s wife calmly played on her phone.

As a female officer, I was being ignored.

"Mother Fucker. What do I do?" The young man looked at desperately.

"Knock her down, don’t give her a chance to pick up the gun, and then run, run as fast as you can, you’ll be surrounded in ten minutes. So now is the best ti to escape."

"WHAT?" Stella’s eyes widened, everyone felt the panic in my answer as if struck in the head.

In this bizarre convenience store, the robber sought help, and incredibly, the custor gave the answer.

Is this a robbery? God will remind you; this is not a live tutorial.

"Really?" The young man wanted confirmation from .

"Really, it’s the best chance, but the probability of success won’t be higher than thirty percent!"

"WHY?" The young man felt it wasn’t a good idea.

"Because she will chase you, and she has a car. Your shooting skills are far below hers, and the outco won’t satisfy you."

"You really answered him?" Stella was near hysterics; what on earth was happening today?

"Why not? Understanding reality allows for better choices."

"Damn it, his emotions will beco unstable." The female officer expressed her displeasure with .

"If you hadn’t shown up, nothing would have happened." I was equally dissatisfied. If I handled this, there would be no danger, no one would get hurt, but now?

Everything turned into uncertainty.

"Can I take her police car?" The young man thought of sothing and looked at for an answer.

"That’s a stupid idea, police cars have trackers, you’ll be a target, and taking a police car adds a serious cri. If you’re caught, and the police car is damaged, that’ll add another charge of damaging police property and public property. Do you want to stay in jail until your father’s age?"

"Damn it!" The young man, increasingly anxious, "I just wanted two hundred US dollars."

"Hey kid, look at ." Stella drew the young man’s attention. "You can’t leave. My colleagues will be here soon, and you’re alone. Listen to , before things get worse, we can talk."

"Talk about what?" The young man looked depressed.

"She’s stalling. Her partners will arrive in a few minutes!" I casually remarked.

"WHAT?" The young man glared angrily at Stella.

The female officer shot a glare, this damn guy. "Calm down, you have no chance of leaving, listen to , kid, you’re young and have a future, you shouldn’t waste much ti in prison, listen to , you didn’t hurt anyone, put down your weapon. We’ll plead with the judge for you."

"Don’t co near. You all say that on TV. In the end, no one pleads for !" Sweat beaded on the young man’s forehead as he beca restless, his emotions growing more agitated.

"I swear I’ll help you!" Stella observed the young man’s outfit, "You probably love sports, think about it, once locked up, it’s hard to enjoy surfing, running, climbing. Put down the weapon, kid, no one gets hurt!"

"But I’ll end up in jail." The young man wiped his sweat, "Give a car, now, then move away from the door!"

"I really will shoot." Bang!

The young man fired again, hitting the wall behind him.

"OK! Relax." Stella slowly moved away from the convenience store’s glass door.

Two police cars appeared at the entrance, and three officers rushed to the door.

"Damn it!" The young man was growing increasingly tense, knowing he was cornered.

A cornered beast makes a real attack, scaring away those who dare to approach.

"Stella, Stella, respond if you hear ."

The female officer raised her hand to show she posed no threat and pressed the intercom, "This is Stella."

"I’m Duty Sergeant, Deputy Geoffrey. The hostage’s condition?"

"The hostage is unhard, status?" Stella looked at Kim, "Her condition is good."

Of course, Kim was still watching videos on her phone.

"GOOD! Can you handle this? I rember your crisis managent course scores were excellent."

"I’ll try!" Stella turned off the intercom, "Hey kid, what’s your na?"

"Shut up, let leave, or I’ll kill her." The young man shouted.
