But he definitely had to delay it first... After so thought in his heart, Su Chen spoke up on the surface, "Thank you for Senior Brother Qin Yun's good intentions. However, I currently have a few urgent matters that I need to deal with first."
Qin Lie wasn't surprised by Su Chen's response. In fact, he couldn't figure out in his heart what his father and Su Chen had to chat about anyway.
Su Chen being willing to lt the ice of their past grievances on the surface was already quite good. Did they really have to make the other party completely let go of their past grudges from the bottom of his heart?
How could that be possible? But Qin Yun's attitude had been extrely fierce, insisting that he make the trip.
Helpless, he could only have people keep a constant eye on the Bronze Core. They reported to him the mont Su Chen ca out, which was why he had co to invite him.
Before he could respond, he heard Su Chen continue, "Additionally, please pass a ssage to Senior Brother Qin Yun and tell him to rest assured. Since I have taken the Morning Star Embers, I will certainly fulfill what I promised him."
"You've misunderstood." Qin Lie's expression shifted slightly. "My father does not distrust your character; it's just..."
Before he could finish his sentence, Su Chen raised a hand to interrupt him, saying warmly, "There's no need to be nervous. Just pass my words onto him exactly as I said them."
Seeing this, Qin Lie could only helplessly watch as Su Chen departed.
Arriving at the Port and boarding a Flight Vehicle, Su Chen once again began questioning the Remnant Spirit. "Do you and Qin Yun have any other agreents?"
"Other agreents?" Hearing this, the Remnant Spirit asked subconsciously, "Other than which agreents?"
"Just say whichever ones you know." Su Chen's tone was entirely unrippled.
The Remnant Spirit muttered constantly in its heart. Su Chen's tone sounded as if he knew about its agreents with Qin Yun, but wanted to confirm more.
So did this fellow actually know or not?
It suspected that Su Chen was trying to trick it, but it didn't dare to rashly destroy the ager foundation of trust it had painstakingly built up.
Besides, this wasn't any major secret either. It simply said, "Originally, I promised him that after the plan succeeded, I would help him recover to his Peak Condition and then hand the position of the Bronze Ancient King over to him."
Su Chen remained noncommittal and continued, "Then aside from that, did you establish any secret signals?"
"Secret signals?" The Remnant Spirit denied it. "No, we didn't. However, this Qin Yun is a sinister and cunning person. Does he want to see you right now? He probably thinks that I have successfully seized your body."
The Remnant Spirit was quite smart. Hearing Su Chen ask about Qin Yun, it imdiately guessed that Qin Yun wanted to see him.
"I understand." Su Chen didn't give the Remnant Spirit any more chances to speak.
Returning to his Floating Island, he went straight to the Training Room and adjusted his condition. Regardless of this or that, achieving Job Entry for the Flash-Shadow Body was the most important thing right now.
With a slight shift of his will, the two words "Job Entry" on the Status Panel scattered. A hazy, grayish-black energy spread from his chest, gradually covering his entire body. His whole person seed to transform into a cluster of foggy shadow.
Su Chen only felt his skin go numb and itchy. This Job Entry process wasn't considered painful, but it felt as if countless ants were gnawing at him, from his skin and flesh all the way into his bone marrow.
In his legs, the major tendons were trembling slightly. His body was even flickering in and out of existence—not completely disappearing, but rather lowering his presence even further.
Su Chen was highly experienced. He had already activated the Mystic Tools within his body, increasing his physical strength to gradually alleviate the abnormalities of the Job Entry process.
This Job Entry process lasted for an extrely long ti. Perhaps it was also because he had never undergone Job Entry for any of the seven classes that made up this Holy Class before.
An unknown amount of ti passed before Su Chen's body trembled slightly, and text finally surfaced on the Status Panel.
[Holy Class—Flash-Shadow Body Job Entry complete. Obtained Ability: Ten Thousand Shadows Return to Silence: Temporarily "diffuse" your existence into all possible movent trajectories within an area, allowing you to erge from any of them.]
[Obtained Ability: Stagnant Shadow: Cover yourself with a Shadow of the Past. Cannot be seen through by anything other than a Holy Class.]
[Obtained Additional Reward: Consumption of Ten Thousand Shadows Return to Silence reduced by 20%.]
Su Chen let out a long breath and scanned the Status Panel. Two abilities. One specialized in speed—or perhaps it was already more than just speed.
As for [Stagnant Shadow], it specialized in Concealnt.
Su Chen stood up, experiencing the subtle changes in his body. The Holy Class hadn't just brought him two abilities; it was also of great benefit to his physical body itself. These were all things not reflected in the text descriptions.
His figure shifted slightly, tearing out a grayish-black Afterimage at the edges of his body that flickered in and out of existence. Su Chen only felt his vision blur, and he had already appeared at the edge of the wall, scarcely a finger's width away from the tal plating.
The speed was so fast that it left even him clicking his tongue in wonder. "Just this ordinary speed alone is already several tis faster than before."
Not only was it fast, but it also caused less of a disturbance.
As for the true Holy Class abilities... Su Chen pondered for a mont, his gaze narrowing slightly. In an instant, it was as if the entire room had been cast in a layer of shadow.
Without Su Chen making any movents, the edges of his body distorted, and in the very next mont, he had already surfaced in the corner of the room.
"This..." Su Chen carefully sensed the feeling, secretly astonished. "There is no movent trajectory. This can no longer be called simple speed..."
This place was still too small... He walked out of the Main Building and looked around, his eyes narrowing slightly. The surrounding scenery changed in an instant, and the Floating Island was already several hundred ters behind him.
With another flash, the Floating Island was already difficult to see with the naked eye.
At this mont, he was already situated above the Bronze Core. He looked down below, recalling Qing Cang's speed. "Although Lao Qing is fast, his tracks can still be followed. But my speed... is formless and traceless."
He roughly understood that the essence of this ability was to directly make him appear in a location he could possibly reach, skipping the actual process of movent.
"The consumption is not low either..." Su Chen returned to the Floating Island. "It mainly consus Psionic Power, not Physical Stamina."
However, he could convert his Physical Stamina into Psionic Power. Under normal usage, he would be able to sustain it.
But this thing extracted power all at once, whereas his conversion required ti.
"Even if it drained all of my current Psionic Power, it would still be difficult to reach those Satellite Cities in a single bound." Su Chen raised his head to look at the Satellite Cities overhead. "I can only advance ti after ti."
Su Chen sighed inwardly, "This way, if they don't have a speed-type Holy Class, let alone an 8th-Tier, even a 9th-Tier Class User might not necessarily be able to catch up to . Hmm... but they might have a sealing-type Holy Class..."
"Even so, it wasn't a waste for to specifically select those high-intensity speed-type Specialized Classes. It's just that the consumption is too great; even after being reduced by 20%, it's still hard to bear."
The more Holy Classes he had, the higher the consumption. This was inevitable.
As for [Stagnant Shadow], it was relatively simpler. "Shadow of the Past," in short, was a type of disguise, but its level was extrely high.
Because it was his "shadow" from the past, it was perfectly compatible with his body. He could disguise himself as a 6th-Tier or a 5th-Tier, whichever he pleased. Unless one possessed specialized thods, they would find it nearly impossible to discover any clues.
After so experintation, Su Chen was extrely satisfied with these two abilities.
Returning to the Training Room, he tentatively circulated his ditation thod and Body Tempering Technique. Crackling firelight and arcs of lightning surged forth, wrapping around his body.
The 350% boost to Developnt Efficiency was extrely obvious. Su Chen imdiately felt the increase in efficiency. Although it still couldn't compare to when he was a 6th-Tier, it was indeed much faster.
"I'll continue stacking it. There's still the Holy Class—Sky-Scar Forger..." Su Chen was quite invigorated. Even if he temporarily couldn't undergo tamorphosis to True Radiance, relying on the talent stacking from continuous Job Entries, in terms of Developnt Efficiency alone, it would allow him to be no weaker than a True Radiance.
Su Chen called out the Remnant Spirit again. "I'm already prepared. How can I utilize the Ignition Cinders to enter the Flare Realm silently and stealthily?"
"It's unlikely you can be completely silent and stealthy, but I understand what you an. Those fellows can't possibly threaten you," the Remnant Spirit said. "First, you must go to the Nether Realm Space."
After a brief tidying up, Su Chen arrived at the Nether Tower and took out the Ignition Cinders. Over the scattered bits of ti, the Ignition Cinders had almost fully recovered.
Remnant Embers burst from his body and were ignited by the Ignition Cinders, wrapping around them as he once again arrived beneath the Solar Fla.
"I will tell you a prayer. You must mix your own blood into the Solar Remnants and pray to the Sovereign of the Purple Zenith."
"Pray to who?" Su Chen asked uncertainly.
"The Sovereign of the Purple Zenith," the Remnant Spirit emphasized. "That is the professional title of the Spirit of the Vast Sun."
"The Sovereign of the Purple Zenith..." Su Chen repeated, quite amazed. To think one could actually pray to a Professional Spirituality. But he didn't ask any further questions.
The Remnant Spirit then recited the prayer. "...Discard the turbid to embrace the clear, discard the dark to embrace the light, depart from all fear and dread, and obtain great tranquility..."
Su Chen's eyes flickered. This prayer pointed directly to the Sovereign of the Purple Zenith, borrowing the Solar Remnants and his blood.
It matched the basic logic of prayer Rituals: direction, offerings, and a connection dium. With these Solar Remnants serving as the connection dium, it couldn't possibly pray to anywhere else.
"...Body like colored glaze reflecting the sun and moon, twin pupils of pure fire incinerating all delusions..."
Su Chen extended his hand, and his palm split open, allowing drops of fresh blood to well out.
Accompanied by the prayer, the Solar Remnants swirling around him gradually changed, forming a large halo behind Su Chen that connected to the Solar Fla, growing increasingly massive and blazing.
...
At the sa ti, within the Flare Realm, in the largest Palace scattered beneath the Tower of Spirit, several Ancient Kings were gathered, either sitting or standing.
Xuantian Ancient King said, "We have explored everything. We cannot enter those tightly shut palaces. If we try to forcibly break them open, we will enrage the Spirit of the Vast Sun."
"The way I see it, why don't the six of us join forces and see if we can capture this Spirit of the Vast Sun to study it slowly?" Zhenwu Ancient King's suggestion was as simple and brutal as ever.
"This Spirit of the Vast Sun can't do anything to the six of us, but the six of us might not be able to do anything to it either." The Vast Sea Emperor, however, didn't hold much hope for this.
"Whether we can do anything or not, we have to try it to know." Zhenwu Ancient King furrowed his brow, saying impatiently, "Otherwise, are we truly going to be trapped here until the Waning Phase of the Starfire? Who knows how long that will take? The Royal Court might even be overthrown by then."
The Ancient Kings wore varying expressions. The longer they spent in here, the greater the changes that could occur in the Dust Star Sea.
Seeing Zhenwu Ancient King speak like this, the Vast Sea Emperor couldn't help but feel sowhat annoyed internally. If this reckless brute hadn't been the first to charge in, causing everyone to be in a passive state, they wouldn't have ended up trapped here.
However, the matter was already in the past, and he couldn't be bothered to argue over it any further. He stated frankly, "If we want to stabilize the situation in the Dust Star Sea, it would be best to send one person out."
"Send one person out?" Zhenwu Ancient King scoffed. "Vast Sea, you aren't thinking of sending yourself out, are you?"
The Bronze Ancient King grew thoughtful, his gaze falling upon the mass of black mist in his hand. "You want to send Suppressing Hell out?"
The expressions of the other Ancient Kings all shifted. The mockery on Zhenwu Ancient King's face vanished, and he let out a cold snort.
The Vast Sea Emperor nodded. "That's right. I was indeed thinking of sending the Suppressing Hell King out. As everyone knows, Suppressing Hell fell into a coma after erging from the Starfire."
"If he were to suddenly awaken, it would inevitably cause rampant speculation in the outside world. Naturally, it would form a deterrent, letting them know that we still have the ability to influence the outside world, and even to leave."
What he hoped for most was for those factions in the outside world to believe that they could leave, but simply didn't want to for the ti being.
"Suppressing Hell." The Vast Sea Emperor looked down. "After you go out, pass down our decree: If anyone dares to stir up trouble while we are absent, we will definitely settle accounts when we return!"
"There's no need to pass down a decree." The Bronze Ancient King shook his head, however. "That kind of deterrence will only allow the outside world to see through our bluff. We only need to let Suppressing Hell make an appearance."
"The most troubleso ones aren't the nurous factions of the Dust Star Sea. They are too complicated and difficult to twist together into a single rope. What is truly terrifying are the Evil Gods."
The group furrowed their brows tightly. Having dealt with those Evil Gods for generation after generation, they naturally knew how difficult they were to deal with.
Ti was the Evil Gods' greatest weapon. They could slowly, bit by bit, probe for the truth. Sooner or later, there would co a mont when they figured everything out.
"Let's send Suppressing Hell out first," Xuantian Ancient King said with a shake of his head.
The crowd nodded one after another. Although the Suppressing Hell King's strength wasn't weak, it wouldn't affect the bigger picture. Sending him out to pass a ssage was perfectly fine.
The group stood up and walked out of the Palace. Just as they were about to head toward the edge of the Starfire, their expressions changed simultaneously as they all looked up at the palace tower not far away.
They saw a blazing pillar of purple light shooting up into the sky.
"Has this Spirit of the Vast Sun gone crazy?" Xuantian Ancient King furrowed his brow tightly. But this ti seed a bit different; the Spirit of the Vast Sun hadn't appeared.
"It seems sothing has co in."
The Vast Sea Emperor frowned deeply, rings of golden halos flashing within his pupils.
It wasn't just him; the other Ancient Kings could also see clearly. Within that pillar of light, a cluster of even more blazing and dazzling fla was following the guidance to arrive.
"Could it be that fellow?" the Ancient King Sacred Cauldron couldn't help but speculate.
"He's exactly who we've been waiting for!"
Zhenwu Ancient King was still the most impatient one. He had already soared into the air, seemingly intending to approach it.
But in the very next mont, a resonant Dragon's Roar rang out. The Spirit of the Vast Sun erged, coiling around the Firmant and staring coldly at Zhenwu Ancient King, seemingly protecting the newcor.
Zhenwu Ancient King's movents paused.
Within the pillar of light, the fla's descent was extrely fast. In the brief mont he delayed, the fireball had already rged into the tower and vanished.
The Spirit of the Vast Sun glared fiercely at Zhenwu Ancient King before disappearing as well.
"Damn it!" Zhenwu Ancient King looked coldly at the crowd that had followed him up, his tone unfriendly. "What are you all doing? Just watching a show?"
"Fighting the Spirit of the Vast Sun here is extrely unwise. Moreover, whether that thing is the person from before or not is still uncertain," the Bronze Ancient King said, shaking his head.
"This tower seems to be guiding it. It's that palace..." Xuantian Ancient King's gaze fell upon the Third Level.
They had already explored this place from top to bottom, so they had naturally discovered the palace on the Third Level that was sowhat different from the others.
Because there were no Guards outside.
And at this mont, the patterns on the Hall Door lit up faintly, seeming to indicate that there was already soone inside.
Star-Firmant Ancient King was puzzled. "Can the palaces on this tower actually be lived in?"
"Let's go take a look..." The group exchanged glances and descended.
They had roughly figured out the habits of the Spirit of the Vast Sun. As long as they didn't step onto the highest level or made a move against the sealed palaces here, this thing wouldn't pay any attention to them.
Inside the hall, the flas swirling around his body gradually receded. Su Chen looked at the familiar surroundings and was quite amazed. "I was actually guided into this Cultivation Sanctum."
"However, this commotion doesn't seem small..."
The Virtual Screen popped up, displaying the exact scene outside the Hall Door. Su Chen's eyelids twitched; six Bright Moon Tier experts were standing together right outside the door.
