The more Su Chen thought, the more flustered he beca. Forcefully suppressing his surging emotions, he took a deep breath and slowly exhaled, gradually calming down. "Forget it, given my current situation, thinking too much is useless."
"In other words, at least I can be certain that this Remnant Spirit indeed has many thods it can use. It might even have a thod that allows to directly see the Profession Requirents. Taking Things as They Co, I guess."
Su Chen could only think this way. With that Remnant Spirit in the hands of the Ancient Kings, this hidden danger couldn't be eliminated in the short term.
He reined in his emotions and began to upgrade the Mystic Tools he controlled.
Advancing from Rank Six to Rank Seven consud a significant amount of Materials and Psionic Power. He had six Mystic Tools that needed upgrading.
Even though he could extract Physical Stamina to convert into Psionic Power and didn't need to worry about consumption, it still took him over ten days to completely tamorphosis all his Mystic Tools to Rank Seven, bringing the Great Hamr fully under his control as well.
"Only now can I be considered in a 7th-Tier state."
Su Chen comprehended the foundational state of his fused Mystic Tools. These past ten-plus days had also allowed him to figure out many things; worrying too much was useless.
"Being Recognized is not the sa as being Selected. It might not necessarily make an Enemy of the World."
For now, he would still proceed according to his original plan. Stepping out of the Training Room and arriving at the Nether Tower, Su Chen took out the Ignition Cinders and gripped it in his hand.
With A Slight Stir in One's Heart, the Remnant Embers surged out from his body, wrapping him up.
It took so ti, but after nearly two months, he once again set foot in this Flare Realm. It was no different from when he ca last ti.
This ti, the Spirit of the Vast Sun didn't have any reaction. Su Chen glanced at the top of that Pyramid.
Scanning his surroundings, his heart stirred. "If my identity is exposed, could I hide here when the ti cos?"
He thought about it, then shook his head. "No. Other people just temporarily can't enter this place. Moreover, it's not considered large. If an Ancient King cos in and sweeps the area, there would be nowhere to hide."
"Furthermore, this place is incredibly hot. There's no way to develop class progress here. Simply hiding would just be a waste of ti, it's useless."
While pondering, Su Chen made his way to where the Prison-Suppressing King was located.
"Your Excellency." Seeing him arrive, the Prison-Suppressing King hurriedly revealed his figure, yet felt Suspicion in his heart. He's back again so soon?
It was difficult to perceive the passage of ti here. The Prison-Suppressing King could only roughly estimate that not much ti had passed since the other party supposedly left.
"Have you thought it through?" Su Chen's voice was indifferent.
The Prison-Suppressing King offered a Bitter Smile: "Your Excellency, you must be from the Abyssal Domain, right?"
Su Chen didn't respond to this question, his tone indifferent: "I am asking you."
The Prison-Suppressing King Words Caught in One's Throat, helplessly saying: "I can only say that I am not a Profession Holder of the Abyssal Domain."
"Could you tell , if you discover regions outside the Abyssal Domain, what thod do you generally adopt to deal with them?"
"Are you afraid?" Su Chen asked in return. "If I told you, would you believe it?"
The Prison-Suppressing King remained Stoic Silence.
Su Chen shook his head, knowing he still hadn't made up his mind. Not wasting words, he turned and left, also feeling quite emotional.
Even at this point, he was still thinking about not exposing the Royal Court as much as possible. It seed they trained him quite successfully.
Ascending the tallic Steps along the Grand Thoroughfare of the Pyramid, Su Chen made his way straight to The Third Layer. His current opportunities were limited, having already used one on the scattered palaces below.
Coming up this ti, he prepared to directly challenge the highest difficulty. Placing both hands on The Palace, he pushed open the Hall Door and subrged himself inside.
Unlike the environnt last ti, the ground beneath his feet was solid, a cyan tal floor extending into the distance. This was a corridor.
Not far away was a silver staircase, which didn't look too high. He paused in place for a mont, and no attackers appeared.
"Different from the last Trial, this ti it isn't combat." Su Chen narrowed his eyes, his gaze landing on that staircase not far away. Is this telling to climb to the highest level?
Su Chen pondered briefly and approached the tallic Steps. It was cast entirely from a silver-white tal, with no visible seams. Looking up along the staircase...
He roughly counted; there were 130 steps.
"I don't know the specific situation." He tentatively set foot on the first step.
In an instant, Su Chen felt his body sink as an invisible gravity enveloped him.
The multiplier of this gravity wasn't low, far exceeding what he usually used for assistance during training, though it temporarily couldn't affect him much.
What made him quite startled, however, was that this was only the first step, yet the intensity wasn't considered low.
Stepping onto the second step, his shoulders slumped slightly before straightening up again. Su Chen couldn't help but look up; there were still over 100 steps. He felt sowhat tongue-tied inwardly.
The difficulty of this was probably truly no lower than Purifying Mist Cinders.
Taking a deep breath, he Bated Breath and ascended several steps consecutively. The gravity on his body continuously increased. By the tenth step, he was already panting slightly.
Taking another step, Su Chen's expression shifted. White frost spread beneath his feet like a living creature, devouring the ground inch by inch. The chill rushed straight from the soles of his feet to his internal organs.
The wind was no longer a normal air current but transford into countless ice blades, carrying frost and cold air, whistling and pressing in from all directions, making his eardrums buzz.
This single step was only about fifty centiters long, yet it was like a small world of its own. Ice blades and frost swords smashed toward him, hacking at his body and leaving streaks of white marks.
As the Tiers increased, the gap between each tier also widened. When Su Chen first advanced to the 6th-Tier, his past accumulations already made him comparable to the strength of a 7th-Tier Profession Holder.
But having just advanced to the 7th-Tier, his current physical strength would likely be hard-pressed to match an 8th-Rank Professional—referring, of course, to those Dual Eighth-Rank Professional whose foundations were top-tier.
But among those of the sa Tier, probably no one could compare. Even so, these ice blades and frost swords could still leave marks on his body, even if they were just slight white streaks.
"This seems to be a comprehensive test... except for speed... no, that's not right either..." Su Chen estimated in his heart. "The pressure on each step seems to descend instantaneously, but in reality, there's a tiny delay. If one's speed is Unimaginable, they might be able to directly shoot up to the highest level without being affected."
He temporarily refrained from using his Holy Class. Who knew which step he could hold out until? The consumption of going all out with his Holy Class wasn't considered low.
Just as he was pondering, a red light suddenly flashed on the step beneath his feet. The frequency wasn't considered rapid.
Su Chen instantly understood; there was a ti limit. Taking a breath, he stepped onto another stair.
At the sa ti, in the Silent Starry Expanse outside the Equilibrium Hub, several Capital Ships were orbiting here. In the central area was a large tal platform.
This ti, there was no Talisman Array carved on the ground. Instead, in the four corners stood a translucent White Crystal Pillars. On the two diagonal pillars, a clump of turbid fresh blood and golden mist respectively swirled.
Positioned in the center was still the haggard Qin Yun, his face gloomy and expressionless.
"How did Qin Yun turn out like this?" On a bronze Capital Ship cruising around the tal platform, Qing Cang stood by the porthole, staring fixedly at that figure like a withered log.
His Vital Aura had weakened to the extre, seemingly ready to extinguish and die at any mont.
"The price of bearing Spirituality is actually this high." Qing Cang was secretly startled.
After this matter, Qin Yun would nine tis out of ten be erased by Sect Master. Given Sect Master's personality, he probably wouldn't let him suffer much pain, so this right now could be considered a form of punishnt.
He had co to deliver the Resources prepared by the Bronze Sect. He was also quite curious about the Solar Fla, the Spirituality, the unknown powerhouse, and so on, so he happened to stay to see what the situation was.
"The items are all ready." On the tal platform, the Bronze Ancient King held a slowly rotating portion of Divine Blood and Power of Faith in his hands.
With a casual wave, they respectively transford into two streaks of Streaking Light and rged into the translucent White Crystal Pillars.
"What's next? Do we need to take action?" The Vast Sea Emperor looked toward Hao Ri on the side.
"Not this ti. It's just a simple communication with the Spirit of the Vast Sun." The Purple Flas leisurely floated forward, suspending above Qin Yun's head. Faintly, a certain sound of prayer echoed from In the Void.
The four White Crystal Pillars surrounding them began to tremble gradually. The Divine Blood and Power of Faith they bore were swept up by an invisible force, swirling around Hao Ri like Small Dragons, gradually subrging into him, their colors growing increasingly rich.
"Why do I feel like the thod this Hao Ri is using resembles the Ritual Arts of an Eldritch God?" The Ancient King Sacred Cauldron narrowed his eyes.
"Whether it was last ti or this ti, they do look sowhat alike." The Bronze Ancient King nodded, a Data Torrent erging in his eyes, seemingly analyzing sothing: "The Power of Faith we forged is pure and flawless, equivalent to being ownerless. He uses Divine Blood as the energy source and Power of Faith as the auxiliary."
"If we view him as an Eldritch God, it can also be explained."
"Do you really believe he is a Spirit Shards left behind after the death of a Blazing Sun Tier?" The Xuantian Ancient King suddenly spoke.
"What does it matter whether we believe it or not? As long as he can let us enter that Flare Realm, he is just a Remnant Spirit; we can wipe him out with a casual wave." The Zhenwu Ancient King's tone was indifferent.
Right at this mont, a wisp of fla dripped down from the Purple Flas, rging into Qin Yun's body.
He abruptly raised his head, letting out a miserable, sharp howl. His eyes flashed with Purple Light, and an imperceptible deep purple swimming dragon floated out. Hao Ri directly wrapped it up.
Boom!
In an instant, the Purple Flas erupted with a massive fla that pierced the heavens and earth, pouring straight into the void.
The temperature here skyrocketed rapidly. The Xuantian Ancient King raised his hand, and an invisible barrier condensed on the periphery, isolating the temperature here. Qing Cang's eyes sparkled with a strange light, watching helplessly as, beneath the Purple Flas, a dream-like scene gradually unfolded in the Starry Expanse.
Sprawling tallic Palaces, and a giant tower standing in the center.
"Is that the Interior of the Pyre?"
"Fifty steps is the limit." Su Chen stopped on a stair. Various Elental Power surged violently around him. Bone-chilling pain, scorching heat, tearing at each other to burst into fine sparks of Lightning Glow, all wreaking havoc on the surface of his body. Faintly, the color of blood was already seeping out.
With his current strength, he could only stop here.
"Although I haven't used any abilities, with just this physical strength, apart from those absolute top-tier guys, it's hard to find an opponent at the 7th-Tier. Truly—"
Su Chen shook his head inwardly, a Sharp Gleam flickering in his eyes. One by one, Mystic Tools appeared around him, rging into his body. Before even initiating the elevation, with just the basic strength augntation, he felt the pressure decrease significantly.
However, since he was using a Holy Class, Su Chen held nothing back. The Eternal Physique activated, and his body beca incredibly solid, like a block of high-density tal.
All seven Mystic Tools were directly elevated to the 8th-Tier. The boiling Aura erupted like a furnace, forcefully isolating the surrounding Elental Power.
After advancing to the 7th-Tier, the consumption of the Enhanced Secret Tool had weakened a bit for him.
Surging power exploded within his body. Su Chen's cheeks flushed faintly red. After a mont, he eased up slightly. Bending his legs slightly, he leaped over ten steps in one go, landing on the sixtieth step.
This kind of action brought even more boundless pressure. The surrounding pressure grew increasingly heavy, and various colored Elental Power surged and galloped.
Su Chen disregarded everything and charged forward with his head down.
Ten steps, another ten steps, and ten more steps!
He leaped from the fiftieth step to the one hundred and tenth step in one go. Here, dark red Lightning Glow intertwined like pythons, blindingly bright. The pressure brought here was terrifying.
An ordinary 7th-Tier Class-User here would likely instantly be crushed into Pulverized to Dust; not even a corpse would remain.
Su Chen panted, "Reaching here, with my current physical strength, I faintly feel so pressure."
"The difficulty of this Great Sun Trials on The Third Layer is actually this high."
Only after tangibly experiencing it did Su Chen realize that the difficulty of this Trial was even greater than he had imagined.
Su Chen lifted his foot and crossed another ten steps, arriving at the one hundred and twentieth step. Everything around was nearly invisible, and his flesh faintly stung.
He secretly clicked his tongue, "My Holy Class was forged from seven or Eight Types of Professions. If it were a Holy Class forged from five Professions, even with two of them, one could probably only barely hold on."
"You'd have to develop at least to the latter half of the 7th-Tier, or even reach full developnt, where strength can no longer be improved, before there's a possibility of passing."
"Forging dual Holy Classes at the 7th-Tier, even with Dual Divine Dawn, requires sacrificing a lot of ti for preparation. Almost very few people would do this; the main focus is still on upgrading the primary Tier, not deliberately seeking to Forge at the 7th-Tier."
"In other words..." Su Chen's lungs expanded, Immovable Vajra activated, and blood mist surged around him. The power within his body climbed once more, veins throbbing all over. The final ten steps—with a single stride, he landed on the highest platform!
"...this is fundantally a Trial prepared for True Radiance."
In an instant, everything around vanished. Su Chen felt his whole body relax and deactivated his various states. His body staggered slightly as he looked back down at the staircase below: "I thought I'd have to elevate a certain Mystic Tool to the 9th-Tier to get up here."
This place was a platform, completely empty, with nothing there.
Right at this mont, the Virtual Screen erged: "Staircase Trials Passed, Rating—S"
"Reward Obtained: 【Perfect-Grade Eldritch Source Power】"
"Note: Even though it is perfectly harmonized, please use with caution."
Eldritch God Source Power? A Slight Stir in One's Heart, Su Chen looked at the wisp of pale golden light flow erging before him. He reached out and grabbed it, and sure enough, it subrged into his body like a stream of water.
Opening the Status Panel to take a look: 【Perfect-Grade Eldritch Source Power: Forged and tempered from the Fusion of the Essence Power of multiple Great Eldritch Gods. Can cause unknown effects on Morning Star Tier and Holy Classes.】
"This is a material that affects Morning Star classes?" Su Chen was thoughtful. This Essence Power was very unusual. It didn't just belong to one Great Eldritch God, and it had undergone preliminary processing. This Abyssal Domain was truly hard to fathom.
Can it affect the Flash-Shadow Body?
"Identical Materials can only be used once. This Essence Power is clearly different from an essence, it should work..." Just as Su Chen was calculating, the text on the Virtual Screen before his eyes gradually blurred and then re-erged: "Congratulations on completing the 'Great Sun Trials' for the first ti. You may select one of The Palace as your personal Cultivation Sanctum. During your cultivation, outsiders cannot disturb you."
