At this point, Qing Cang's expression suddenly froze, his voice dropping as anger brewed within it. "It is actually him!"

"Who?" Su Chen paused in surprise, unaware of what Qing Cang had discovered.

"It is..." Qing Cang's face turned icy. Just as he was about to speak, his expression drastically changed, and he barked out sharply, "You are courting death!

"

A fierce gale suddenly whipped up, causing the tables and chairs to tremble. His figure had already vanished.

'What in the world?'

Stunned, Su Chen hastily dashed out of the room as well.

Inside the room, Fang Luoxun failed to notice the bizarre expressions that burst forth on the faces of the two n before him the mont he uttered Su Chen's na.

'Su Chen is actually on this planet...' Hei Zhao's heart throbbed. He had assud that as a Star Seed, the target would constantly remain at the core of the sect, making him incredibly difficult to approach.

'I never expected to find him so effortlessly. Truly, it was obtained without effort.'

Although experintally sending the Mist Embers into the Starfire was also his mission, compared to Su Chen, the Mist Embers could be temporarily set aside.

'However, I do need to keep my guard up against Wu Wang.'

"Kill Su Chen?" Hei Zhao suddenly chuckled. "This person is your Star Seed, is he not?"

Bitterness welled up in Fang Luoxun's heart. When Fan Zhao had given him the instructions, he too had found it impossible to believe. Now, even while facing Evil God Cultists, he could not help but feel a pang of guilt. He simply listened as the other man spoke in a leisurely tone, "You people treat us like a terrifying scourge, yet we are united as one, supporting each other. anwhile, you are incredibly ruthless and decisive when it cos to slaughtering your own kind."

Fang Luoxun's expression turned exceedingly ugly, but he had no words to refute the claim.

Hei Zhao spoke slowly, "However, this matter is not particularly difficult. I suppose I can reluctantly help you eliminate that..."

Before his voice could even fade, both Hei Zhao and Wu Wang's expressions changed simultaneously as they looked up in sheer horror.

Bizarre, twisting groans erupted from the load-bearing structures on all four walls of the room. The concrete and tal rivets squealed and shifted under an imnse, crushing pressure.

Imdiately after, the entire upper half of the room was violently ripped off and shredded. Like fragile scraps of paper, the debris was swept high into the sky, vanishing into a swirling vortex of dark clouds.

A freezing storm and churning clouds poured straight down. What completely dominated their field of vision was a gigantic human face looming across the entire firmant.

Its contours were traced by flowing azure cyclones and thick milky-white clouds, wreathed in ashen torrents that resembled both waterfalls and weeping willows. These currents constantly disintegrated into fine curtains of rain and leaping arcs of lightning.

Where the eyes should be were two Storm Eyes, constantly collapsing inward and spinning. Like a pair of high-hanging azure moons suspended directly above the shattered roof, they gazed down coldly at the insignificant figures in the tiny room below.

The people in the nearby city districts turned pale with terror. They stared up at the colossal entity that had abruptly manifested in the sky. A terrifying pressure cascaded down, carrying a majestic yet suffocating stillness.

"This..." Fang Luoxun's entire body turned freezing cold. Looking up at the massive face, the overwhelming oppression crashing over him rendered him completely immobile. His voice trembled uncontrollably. "Qing... Qing Shi!"

He was entirely too familiar with the owner of this face; the man had even carefully instructed him in the past.

"It is Qing Cang!" Hei Zhao's cheek twitched. Staring up at the giant face, he naturally recognized this Disciple of an Ancient King.

'How could he be here!' A chill gripped Hei Zhao's heart. He had only just made contact, yet Qing Cang had attacked ruthlessly and without hesitation. It was obvious the man had been waiting for a long ti.

"To catch a turtle in a jar!" Wu Wang's expression was incredibly grim as he gnashed his teeth. "I knew it! Crimson Thunder Planet, Teng Liang!"

'Is it truly because of that guy?' The Divine Son of Black Buddha stalled, finding it utterly unimaginable. He had no ti to dwell on it, as a majestic, crushing pressure was already converging on them from all directions.

The professional tier of this Flesh Body was rely at the 7th-tier, whereas Qing Cang was an elite Dual Ninth-Rank professional.

'Move! Move for !' Hei Zhao's body convulsed violently. Black mist seeped from his eyes, ears, nose, and mouth in extre indignation.

He had not even accomplished anything yet. He had gone through so much trouble just to arrive here, only to be trapped like a turtle in a jar the mont he set foot on the planet.

From a building in the distance, Su Chen rushed out in a hurry, with Teng Liang and Ming Lin following closely behind, their faces etched with shock and fear.

"Is this the might of a Dual Ninth-Rank?" Su Chen tilted his head back, observing the massive face that practically blotted out the sky. "If he truly unleashes his full power, this entire planet might not even survive the devastation..."

Although he had witnessed the Form of the Ancient King before, that had functioned more as an imposing deterrent. Furthermore, the gap in power had been so astronomically vast that it was actually difficult to genuinely comprehend it.

But standing here right now, even from such a great distance, he could feel the palpable, tangible Life Intimidation. It felt as though a massive boulder were pressing down upon his chest. It was truly a terrifying sensation.

This location was not too far from the hotel; he had a crystal-clear view of the unfolding scene.

At the top of the building, one figure was swallowed by roiling black fog. The mist seed alive as it collapsed inward, condensed, and instantly expanded into a Black Mist Giant several hundred ters tall.

Its silhouette was indistinct yet radiated absolute oppression. The shadows cast by its dangling arms resembled flowing rivers of ink. On a face ford entirely of dense haze, a single black vertical pupil burned like a blazing torch.

The surface of the other person's body rippled with a watery sheen before his form morphed into a colossal, semi-transparent serpent. Its entire body was pristine, akin to flowing crystal, with only a line along its spine flashing with glowing blue energy veins.

The serpent's scales refracted the air into kaleidoscopic fragnts of light as it unfurled a massive body nearly a kiloter long, coiling protectively around the surrounding area.

"I wonder what Professional Spirituality suffered a Spiritual Fall to produce these two Divine Sons," Su Chen muttered to himself.

'There are actually two Divine Son Flesh Bodies...' Qing Cang was also quite surprised at this mont. Soon after, an ever-surging wave of fury erupted in his heart. 'Courting death!'

The colossal face seed to exhale an extrely faint breath. It was no ordinary breath; it was a highly condensed, azure-colored Storm Breath.

The exact mont it left his lips, it transford into a shockwave that spanned heaven and earth, crashing straight down.

Realizing that escape today was likely impossible, a furious resentnt seized Hei Zhao's mind.

Rumble!

The hotel collapsed. The Black Mist Giant shattered the ground beneath its feet, kicking up a ring-shaped dust storm. The black fog instantly flared outwards before rapidly contracting, surging straight up toward the sky!

However, beneath the might of that azure shockwave, its gigantic body, along with the corrupted space surrounding it, was simply erased like a smudge wiped away by an invisible eraser. It was silently annihilated. There was no explosion, no debris. It was as if it had never existed at all.

Yet, the very instant Hei Zhao made his move, Wu Wang chose not to fight back alongside him. Instead, he plunged into a spatial fissure in a split second.

'Seeking your own path to death.' A wave of sheer apathy washed over Qing Cang's heart.

In an instant, within a radius of one kiloter around the massive serpent, all the air, energy, and even the faintest traces of light were instantaneously siphoned, compressed, and tad.

They morphed into an enormous azure hand, crafted entirely from highly volatile wind elents, that blotted out the sun. The colossal hand curled its five fingers and squeezed lightly.

"Crack—"

Accompanied by a crisp sound reminiscent of shattering ice crystals, the kiloter-long giant serpent was effortlessly crushed to pieces by the colossal hand of wind, dissolving into a sky filled with drifting, harmless specks of crystalline light.

Swept away by the circulating air currents, the motes vanished without a single trace.

Thud!

Two figures plumted straight down, smashing into the ground. They kicked up a cloud of dust and then lay utterly motionless.

'It was that simple?' Su Chen's heart skipped a beat. With a shift of his feet, he dashed horizontally for nearly a kiloter, swiftly arriving near the battlefield.

The dust gradually settled. Qing Cang's attack had been exquisitely precise. Though its destructive power appeared cataclysmic, the actual damage was confined to a very specific area.

Furthermore, the other occupants of the building had been shielded by his wind currents, ensuring they suffered no harm whatsoever. When they were gently deposited outside, they appeared bewildered, their faces painted with shock.

Amidst the ruined debris, Su Chen could only spot a swaying figure groaning the words "Qing Shi" before stumbling and collapsing to his knees.

"Qing Shi! Qing Shi!" Fang Luoxun sobbed bitterly, repeating the title over and over again.

"This guy..." Su Chen walked over from the side, eyeing Fang Luoxun. The man's disguise had been stripped away, revealing an incredibly unfamiliar face.

Two corpses lay sprawled on the ground nearby. Their surfaces were covered in a dense web of fine cracks, completely devoid of any life signs.

Keeping these Divine Sons alive was useless. Doing so might even afford them the opportunity to employ so nefarious trickery to cause trouble. It was far better to deal the lethal blow imdiately and obliterate the vitality of their Flesh Bodies.

"It is him." Ming Lin, who had been a step slower, finally arrived. He instantly recognized the kneeling figure and whispered, "This is Fan Zhao's second disciple, ng Shiyu's Junior Apprentice Brother."

As enemies, they had paid close attention to Qin Yun's faction, making them familiar with all the key mbers.

"One of Fan Zhao's n? Was Fan Zhao the one who contacted the Divine Son of Black Buddha?" Su Chen paused in surprise. He had initially assud those two entities had co strictly for him.

Now, it appeared the situation was not that simple.

Qing Cang had already reverted to his human form. He glared down coldly at Fang Luoxun. "Colluding with an Evil God's Divine Son to assassinate a Star Seed. You should think very carefully about whether you can bear the weight of such a cri."

'Assassinating a Star Seed? Were they targeting after all?'

Su Chen could not help but feel astonished. For Fan Zhao to resort to such unscrupulous thods just to kill him... his loyalty to Qin Yun was perhaps a bit too extre.

"Qing Shi!" Fang Luoxun jerked his head up, his face filled with absolute panic. "No, I—I was rely—I was rely passing on a ssage..."

"Watch him closely." Qing Cang pointed a single finger forward. The air directly in front of his fingertip abruptly warped, and a wisp of pure, azure wind essence coalesced with a thought.

It rapidly expanded and stretched, emitting a crisp, resonant hum in the air. The wind materialized into three semi-transparent chains, each as thick as a thumb, shimring with tangible radiance. They tightly bound Fang Luoxun, rendering him completely immobilized in an instant.

At the sa ti, Qing Cang's figure suddenly dissipated. A raging gale surged outwards in all directions, sweeping across an imasurable distance.

On the upper floor of another hotel quite a distance away, Fan Zhao staggered backward repeatedly, his expression twisted in terror. "How could Qing Cang possibly be here?"

'Could it be that the Divine Son of Black Buddha was discovered long ago?'

He could not help but realize that this was clearly an attempt to catch a turtle in a jar.

'Is this Divine Son truly this utterly stupid?'

'Thankfully, I did not reveal myself in person.' Upon thinking this, Fan Zhao heaved a sigh of relief, though his expression remained solemn. 'No, I need to get out of here imdiately. Fang Luoxun cannot hold out for long.'

'Only by returning to the Bronze Sect can I fiercely deny any knowledge of this matter.'

Unwilling to hesitate for even a second, he spun on his heel, ready to flee.

But the mont he opened the room's door, the curtains draped over the window abruptly fluttered as if rustled by a breeze. Yet, the room's window was clearly shut tight.

Fan Zhao's movents froze. The roar of the wind suddenly filled his ears, accompanied by a low, ghostly voice. "I found you."

"They were practically pulverized into ground at." Su Chen crouched in front of the two corpses, noting the nurous items scattered around them.

It was likely that the loss of vitality in their Flesh Bodies caused their personal Storage Spaces to collapse, spewing all their hidden contents onto the ground.

"Your Excellency Su Chen, Your Excellency, please let explain! In this matter, I was rely the ssenger! It was all Fan Zhao's doing!

Fan Zhao threatened ; I truly had no choice..."

Fang Luoxun continued to wail incessantly. Su Chen cast a brief glance at him and signaled for Teng Liang to drag him away. The desperate pleas gradually faded into the distance.

Far off, several streaks of light rapidly approached. They were presumably the local Guardians of Canglan Planet.

The mont Su Chen rested his hand on one of the corpses, he felt sothing surge from within the body and flow straight into him. Instantly, his System Panel popped up: [Faceless Ghost Essence discovered. Dostication successful!]

[...

..]

Receiving two consecutive prompts, Su Chen was rather surprised. "To think I actually extracted two drops of essence. These Flesh Bodies are truly excellent loot."

This was definitively an unexpected bounty.

However, after the essence vanished, the mangled chunks of flesh strewn across the ground faintly lost a specific luster, though it was difficult to detect with the naked eye.

Imdiately following that, his gaze fell upon the various objects scattered all around. There was a mix of random clutter and several items of unknown origin.

Figuring he had nothing to lose by checking, Su Chen picked them up one by one.

"Star Seed Su."

Outside the ruins, several figures touched down. The leader, a middle-aged man with a grave yet sowhat apprehensive expression, glanced around before heading straight for Su Chen.

"And you are?" Su Chen inquired while continuing to tidy up the loot.

"I am the Guardian here, Song Gang. Was that Qing Shi just now?"

Song Gang asked probing questions. He was fully aware that Su Chen had arrived, but since Su Chen had not formally visited him, he had not taken the initiative to arrange a eting either.

He never expected that after only a few days, such a massive commotion would suddenly erupt.

The energy fluctuations radiating from that giant face had been far too violent. The entirety of Canglan Planet had been alard, prompting him to rush over imdiately.

Su Chen picked up a fist-sized black skull fragnt, ran his fingers over it, and set it aside. Nodding, he replied, "Indeed, that was my Senior Apprentice Brother."

Song Gang pondered for a mont before cautiously asking, "Then, what happened here was because—"

Su Chen responded nonchalantly, "We discovered two Divine Sons, and they have already been eradicated."

"Two Divine Sons?" Song Gang's face froze as turbulent emotions churned in his heart. Canglan Planet was definitely not considered far from the Bronze Sect's core.

The last ti they uncovered Evil God Cultists was decades ago, let alone two full-fledged Divine Sons.

'Things have blown completely out of proportion...' Song Gang's expression shifted multiple tis. Seeing Su Chen still bent over collecting items, he quickly said, "Please, just rest. You do not need to lift a finger. We can handle the cleanup."

"There is no need. I prefer doing it myself." Su Chen refused the offer. If he did not run his own hands through all this loot, he would always feel as if he had missed sothing valuable.

'Prefers doing it himself?' Song Gang's expression darkened slightly as he inwardly speculated. 'Does he suspect that Canglan Planet harbors moles working for the Evil Gods, and that was why he didn't notify us beforehand?'

'This is troubleso...'

Su Chen remained completely oblivious to the fact that his casual remark had triggered a whirlwind of paranoia in the Guardian standing before him. He simply continued his sorting process.

Soon after, his expression shifted. His fingers brushed against a fingernail-sized object that felt like black charcoal. The System Panel imdiately produced a prompt: [Mist Embers (Weak) — Special Item: A mist essence born only in the deepest reaches of the Nether Mist. It is ford by condensing the mixed power of a certain Evil God. It appears to possess special effects on Professions. (Note: Please purify before use)]

"Mist Embers, purification?"

Su Chen read over the description. This item seed exceedingly peculiar; it was clearly not sothing simple.

While he was contemplating this, another line of text materialized on his System Panel: [The Crimson Fla Responding Thunder Great Exalted yearns for the Mist Embers. If you can purify it and offer it to him, he might bestow a reward upon you.]

"Oh?" A subtle tremor of surprise rippled through Su Chen's heart. To think that the Great Exalted would actually desire such an item.
