As Su Chen walked out of the wooden house, he was still pondering inwardly. An Ink Jade talent was already extrely rare, let alone a Crimson talent. Looking through the entire history of the Adjudication Court, one had never appeared before.

'I wonder if my talent can reach the Crimson tier after advancing into the Spirit Adept class,' Su Chen calculated in his heart.

It wasn't that he hadn't asked around in the Adjudication Court or the Class Decoding Departnt, but the thods that could fundantally improve one's talent could be counted on one hand.

There were only those few specific classes, among which the Sage and the Scholar were the most widely spread.

There were indeed thods to temporarily boost one's talent to et certain bizarre advancent requirents, but that was just a form of deception to increase the success rate of the advancent. Fundantally, there was no difference.

'It's a good ti to see if the path of the Unsullied can be completed, or if it still falls short.' Su Chen had been looking forward to this for a long ti. Thinking of the people from Yuandu who had yet to arrive, he couldn't help but sigh. 'Why are they moving so slowly? Hurry up and run over here already.'

Old Sang was waiting for him outside the woods. Walking along the winding path, Su Chen thought of what Pu Zhenghong had said regarding the uniqueness of Morning Star Tier classes, unable to help but sigh with emotion. 'The Morning Star Tier is truly extraordinary. The upper limit of the influence of high-tier Evil God Power is an 8th-Tier class; the Morning Star Tier isn't even included within that range.'

'However, it seems no one has ever advanced into a Morning Star Tier class. Yet Pu Zhenghong spoke about it so logically and clearly. Could the information have been obtained from those ruins?'

Approval, chosen one... Pu Zhenghong had explained it very clearly. But those ruins seed to be very dangerous, so it didn't seem likely that the information ca from within.

'How bizarre—'

As Su Chen was lost in his thoughts, he had already walked out of the small patch of woods. Seeing him pondering with his head lowered, Sang Hanhai knew that Pu Zhenghong hadn't hidden anything from him. He teased, "How was it? Did it completely open your eyes?"

"Yeah." Su Chen gathered his senses and couldn't help but nod, deeply agreeing. "I didn't expect a class could be so magical."

"Haha—" Sang Hanhai laughed. "The Morning Star Tier can no longer be simply referred to as a class. It can even be called a 'spiritual existence'."

"Your talent for resonating with Saint Word Stones might allow you to carve out a new path, obtain the information on the stone slab, and perhaps even gain its approval."

Su Chen also carried quite a bit of expectation. Mostly, he wanted to see the exact difference between a class that had birthed its own spirituality in the outside world and the classes derived by his panel.

Sang Hanhai saw him off from the Class Decoding Departnt, but Su Chen didn't return directly to the Adjudication Court. Instead, he set a new coordinate location.

It didn't take long for him to arrive. This was a spot located in the East City of Yingfeng. After the hover car parked on the street, Su Chen got off, looked left and right, caught sight of a figure, and quickly walked over.

The other party brought him into a hidden stronghold nearby. Surprisingly, both Teng Liang and Bu Siqi were present here. Strange instrunts and equipnt surrounded them, and the staff mbers were all busy with their respective tasks, monitoring the surroundings.

"Junior Brother, is this the place?" Teng Liang asked upon seeing him arrive, his gaze fixed on the stereoscopic virtual projection before him.

"Yeah, according to the informant's tip I received, it's roughly here, but I'm not sure if it's true or not." Su Chen glanced at the tactical console. Hovering above it was a 3D map of a small park.

This was the location where he had felt that peculiar sensation. He had asked Teng Liang to dispatch people here earlier, using the excuse of a tip from an informant.

He had been in the Adjudication Court for over half a year now. As a Core Seed, it was perfectly normal for him to have his own information channels. As long as the information wasn't too outlandish, no one would excessively investigate its source.

"This place rarely sees foot traffic, and the detection devices haven't found any clues." Bu Siqi fiddled with a detection device nearby. "If the informant is correct, the exact location won't be easy to find."

"It's just this one area. We just need to comb through it once," Teng Liang said faintly.

"Then the people from the Supervision Departnt will definitely co over once they catch wind of this," Bu Siqi said.

"I'll handle it," Su Chen stated. Bu Siqi raised an eyebrow, speaking with an underlying aning, "Junior Brother, you seem to be quite close with the people from the Supervision Departnt."

"They want to win over and cause trouble in the dark," Su Chen said bluntly.

"As long as you know what you're doing. You're a Core Seed, so be careful not to give others a chance to gossip." Bu Siqi cautioned him. They were both violent branches of Yingfeng, so the people of the Adjudication Court inevitably had entanglents with them.

But a situation like Su Chen's was clearly no simple entanglent. The Adjudication Court and the Security Bureau constantly rubbed each other the wrong way, and the conflicts at the lower levels were quite severe.

Teng Liang had already issued the command, ordering the Inquisitors under him to each lead a team and gradually conduct a screening process.

"Just what exactly is it? It feels so strange—" Su Chen also looked at the virtual projection before him.

anwhile, within a hidden underground space beneath the park, a grayish-white crystal upon an altar incessantly flickered. A faceless man knelt on the ground, reporting: "Divine Son, we still haven't been able to contact the Chief Priest. With the Priest returning to the Holy Lord's embrace, it's very difficult for us to construct a perfect array."

"Trash!" the grayish-white crystal flickered, emitting a cold and ruthless voice.

Even today, he still constantly recalled that giant arm descending from the sky. A portion of his consciousness had been forcibly obliterated within that vessel.

He had practically never suffered such humiliation before. He originially thought his biggest trouble this ti would be competing against the Cultists of the other Evil Gods. He hadn't expected to repeatedly fall into the hands of the exact sa native.

That brute had ruthlessly attacked based purely on suspicion, possessing a temper even more explosive than his own.

"Once the Holy Banquet begins, I will absolutely make you taste true despair."

But at present, impatience served no purpose.

In order to retrieve his vessel and make the Adjudication Court feel sufficiently threatened, he had already sent out nearly everyone and all the power at his disposal.

Now that he couldn't contact the Chief Priest, he could only think of other thods.

"Since I couldn't get the vessel into a high position to see the stone slab, my arrangents in Yingfeng have completely gone up in flas. I must let my main body know as soon as possible, and quickly join forces with the other Evil Gods to push forward the Holy Banquet."

He had snuck in and lain dormant, seizing all advantages. Without even needing the Holy Banquet to start, he would have had a chance to reap the greatest harvest, but now that was all in the past.

"What is the situation with the Cultists of the other gods?" he asked again.

"Not even one in ten remains; they can only linger on their last legs," the faceless man prostrating on the ground shook his head.

The grayish-white crystal fell silent for a mont before saying, "Once things blow over, think of a way to leave the city. Use the dumb thod to pass along the ssage—"

Before he could finish speaking, the tal ceiling overhead suddenly trembled incessantly, emitting a harsh creaking sound before bursting open.

Concrete chunks plumted straight down, distorted rebars piercing out from the fractures. Amidst the surging smoke and dust, a familiar, thick and powerful arm ruthlessly smashed down.

"This is—"

The grayish-white crystal in the center of the altar flickered intensely. He hadn't expected to see this arm again, a sense of terror vaguely rising in his heart. He had practically developed PTSD from the beating.

That arm punched straight in. And as the fist violently clenched tight, ring-shaped shockwaves instantly rippled outwards. Spiderweb-like cracks spread along the surrounding walls at terrifying speeds, launching concrete chunks into the air amidst the tremors.

anwhile, the faceless man who had just been prostrating on the floor was already blasted away, smashing into a wall and turning into a puddle of at paste.

Boom!

The ceiling was ripped open, letting in the bright daylight. Teng Liang gripped the edges of the breach and stuck his massive head inside, his voice booming like a bell, "It's right here."

Upon hearing the signal, nurous Inquisitors leaped down, spreading out from the passageway in all directions like a surging tide.

"How could it be this guy again!"

The grayish-white crystal tumbled into a corner, covered by dust and smoke. He was shocked and furious, finding it simply unimaginable.

How could the other party have found his hiding spot so quickly?

"No, I absolutely cannot be discovered. My main body still doesn't know what has happened here. Damn this Nether Mist, and damn Teng Liang!"

He suppressed all fluctuations, gradually turning into an inconspicuous crystal mixed among the concrete rubble.

"It really is here—" Bu Siqi stood at the breach with his arms crossed, staring down at the cavern below in quite so surprise.

"These Evil God Cultists seem to love building their nests underground," Su Chen said from the sidelines, not going down.

"They have no other choice. Faceless Ghost Cultists are still fine since they can disguise as other people. But Cultists like the Black Buddha ones have traits too obvious; one look is enough if they don't use disguise," Bu Siqi shook his head. "Even if they disguise themselves, their behavioral quirks are extrely strange. Furthermore, they need to conceal the energy fluctuations of their Evil God Artifacts, requiring special materials to block detection. So generally, they can only figure things out underground."

The intensity of resistance inside was maddeningly low. Letting alone Teng Liang, even Bu Siqi didn't need to make a move. Wu Yang and a few 3rd-Tier Inquisitors cleared it all up by themselves.

"Just these five Cultists?" Bu Siqi looked at the few figures wearing cage-like muzzles as they were escorted up, vastly disappointed. "And here I thought it was a major nest."

"Most of them likely died during the last attack," Teng Liang said. "I'm afraid there aren't many Cultists left in the city either; this is just mopping up."

"Yet they still managed to trade for Wei Yinshuo." Bu Siqi sighed. Although he wished Wei Yinshuo was dead, he was ultimately still a living force belonging to the Adjudication Court, so Bu Siqi wasn't exactly thrilled either.

"Old Wu, did you find any bizarre items?" Su Chen asked Wu Yang next to him.

"Not as of yet," Wu Yang shook his head. "This place is quite large, so the n are still searching through it."

Su Chen nodded thoughtfully. His senses wouldn't deceive him; there was definitely sothing strange hidden here.

After waiting a bit longer, items were transported up one by one and piled together; the collection was mostly complete.

Looking at the rough map that had been constructed, Bu Siqi was quite surprised. "This place really isn't small, and there are lots of traces of daily life. I'd estimate that no less than thirty Cultists once lived here."

"I guessed wrong, it really is a major nest. A pity it's an empty one."

Wu Yang also reported, "The items collected within are mostly very common, evil objects related to the Faceless Ghost. There are no Evil God Artifacts of any kind."

"There aren't any?" Su Chen raised a brow, walking over to a large iron box where all the collected items were stored.

There were human skin masks, and even individual facial features like noses, mouths, and the like, looking quite chilling and eerie.

Su Chen flipped through the contents.

"What are you looking for?" Bu Siqi squatted to the side, watching Su Chen's actions.

"Just checking if any important items were missed," Su Chen said casually, lightly touching every single object.

Bu Siqi watched for a bit before feeling bored, so he jumped down the opening to take a look underneath.

But Su Chen's movents abruptly paused. As his fingertips touched a grayish-white crystal, his expression shifted.

'He—he actually managed to discover ?'

Within the grayish-white crystal, the Divine Son's consciousness looked at the large face before him.

He could clearly see that the mont this Su Chen touched the grayish-white crystal, his expression changed. He had evidently realized sothing.

'I've already wrapped myself in divine power, and God the Father's power is best at disguise. How could he—'

In Yingfeng, he had discovered far too many inexplicable things; things he had never encountered in any other place.

A mont later, a sense of terror washed over him. An unexpected suction force ca from the outside, and his consciousness drifted out uncontrollably.

He felt the divine power wrapping his consciousness constantly being sucked away, to the point that even his own consciousness was being dragged out along with it.

Such an unimaginable occurrence made him feel a trace of dread. Filled with horror, he thought, 'He can devour God the Father's power, and even my consciousness?'

'Just what exactly is this thing!'

He was certain that this thing before his eyes was absolutely not a human, but so kind of lifeform wearing human skin.

[Alien energy invasion detected. Taming successful. Obtained interdiate Divine Power of the Faceless Ghost. Can be applied to 6th-Tier and below classes.]

[Incomplete consciousness of the Divine Son of the Faceless Ghost detected. Priest successfully absorbed. Disguise option available: Priest of the Faceless Ghost. Obtained ability: Faceless (collect another person's biological information to disguise as them).]

"Divine Son of the Faceless Ghost?" Su Chen looked at the panel's prompt in astonishnt. Listening to the faint wails echoing in his ears, he then looked at the crystal in his hand and said in surprise, "There was a Divine Son hiding inside this?"

'Could it be the one that possessed ng Qi?' he couldn't help but guess. 'Are they truly descendants of the Faceless Ghost? Or is it also a type of faith level?'

That thing he had sensed earlier was probably this gadget. Su Chen weighed the grayish-white crystal in his hand, observing the several cracks faintly appearing on it.

With the divine power completely sucked out, and the hidden Divine Son's consciousness also extracted, this object was now utterly useless.

'One portion of interdiate Faceless Ghost power... Not bad. The Priest also gained a new ability, Faceless—I'll have to try it out when I get the chance—'

Su Chen nonchalantly placed it back in its original position.

The rest was just mopping up. Having obtained the thing he was looking for, Su Chen had no further interest in staying here. Letting Teng Liang know, he returned to the Adjudication Court.

Sitting in the hover car on his way back, Su Chen was still pondering, 'To be able to create a perfect disguise vessel like ng Qi, could he truly have been the Faceless Ghost's son? An incomplete consciousness—'

anwhile, sowhere extrely far away from Yingfeng, a massive faceless statue over a thousand ters tall was slowly moving. Its body was smooth and seamless. Everything above its neck was a perfectly round, flawless sphere without a single trace of any facial features.

The massive statue bizarrely hovered right above the ground, slowly moving toward a certain location. Wherever it passed, the grayish-white mist parted. An enormous crowd of faceless people silently followed behind it without making a sound. Paced upon the statue's shoulder, a slender figure was standing there, his facial features constantly shifting and changing.

Sotis he appeared as a white-haired elder, sotis as a bewitching and foxy young girl, and sotis as a steady and dignified middle-aged man.

At a certain mont, he suddenly spoke, his voice carrying layer upon layer of overlapping echoes: "Sothing happened in Yingfeng. A portion of my consciousness has been destroyed."

"Divine Son—" soone beside him spoke up. He surprisingly also had his own facial features; he was an old man with a face full of deep wrinkles. "It seems your plan has failed."

When he spoke, there was actually zero sense of fanaticism. "Do you know what happened?"

"This Nether Mist isolates everything. I have no way to know what transpired. I only know that he disappeared." The Divine Son shook his head.

"That makes things troubleso." The old man frowned. "It seems we can only move forward in the direction of initiating the Holy Banquet."

The Divine Son's facial features and voice continued to shift relentlessly. "It is truly rare to encounter a planet that has birthed a Morning Star Tier class. Compared to the Holy Banquet, I want to corrupt its spirituality even more."

"Only by doing so can God the Father be made even more joyous."
