In the beginning, when I was replaced, the Crown Prince Residence had a lot to do with it, although now it’s the Crown Princess Consort who’s taking the bla. But who knows whether the Crown Prince had a hand in it?

They are husband and wife, both of their interests are connected. Ye Jiu didn’t believe in it. Prince Jing was the Crown Prince’s own brother and had always supported him. Would the Crown Princess Consort offend Prince Jing for a half-sister and act on her own while the Crown Prince knew nothing about it?

Even now, he still didn’t understand why His Highness the Crown Prince took such an exception to him, a re girl. Yet, this resentnt, Ye Jiu etched in his heart, swearing that one day he would take his revenge.

Prince Jing didn’t say much more, but instructed, "We will depart for the capital in three days; use this ti to bid farewell to the Ye Family. As for the Ye Family, this is all I can do for them. Whether they choose to follow us to the capital is up to them."

Prince Jing turned, a complex emotion evident on his face.

The last ti an investigation was conducted, it reached up to the Crown Prince Residence. But although it was later overshadowed by the excuse of rivalry among the won of the household, Prince Jing always harbored a hint of doubt.

So was the Ye Family’s recent act of arson connected to the Crown Prince?

Prince Jing sincerely hoped it wasn’t, but if it was indeed true, he wouldn’t back down this ti.

He never had designs on the throne, even when, years ago, his father had hinted at replacing the Crown Prince, he had dismissed the idea.

The Crown Prince was his own elder brother. Throughout their childhood, no matter how reckless he was, he never did anything to betray the Crown Prince.

But that didn’t an he would always yield to the Crown Prince.

Or rather, he could tolerate anything else, but not the matter concerning Ye Jiu. It wasn’t simply about power struggle anymore; they say even a tiger won’t eat its cubs, and he wouldn’t risk his child’s safety for anyone’s comfort.

Once Prince Jing left, Ye Jiu and Ye Gaosheng, a newly appointed Commandery Princess and a devoted Marquis, beca the center of everyone’s attention.

Ye Qinghua and Ye Qingzhi, who were full of doubts and had co to ask questions, were just heading towards Ye Jiu when they were pushed aside by others.

In no ti at all, a crowd gathered around Ye Jiu, making it impossible for them to get through.

Ye Qinghua was still okay, being sowhat older, but Ye Qingzhi, seeing her little aunt surrounded and unable to get close herself, pouted so much her lips seed ready to hang an oil bottle from them.

Ye Gaosheng, too, was closely circled by a crowd that bombarded him with questions, yet he was utterly bewildered by it all.

Qingyue’s belly was slightly swollen, so as soon as the crowd surged towards them, she quickly stepped aside to avoid harming her stomach.

Ye Lao Han, Ye Gaoshi, and Ye Gaoshui all had complex expressions on their faces.

Looking at the bustling crowd, although they were all one family, at that mont, they felt as if they were excluded.

Watching her two children being encircled by the crowd, Mrs. He, although sowhat lancholic, was genuinely happy for them.

Because of the recent fire, there had been a lot of gossip about their family, and Mrs. He knew it; especially from the old ladies she had not been on good terms with, who awaited the chance to relish in her misfortune.

Yet, while they laughed at her family’s expense, they didn’t foresee that although their ho was gone, in a blink of an eye, her daughter had beco a Commandery Princess and her son a Marquis.
