After the siblings finished their discussion and ca out of the room, the young servant watching the door suddenly brought over a visiting card, saying it was sent by soone calling themselves from Huarong Pavilion in the town.
Ye Gaosheng’s face turned cold at once, "Huarong Pavilion? What are they trying to do now?"
It was no wonder Ye Gaosheng was suspicious; anybody who had had their legs broken, lost months of als, and experienced that kind of despair wouldn’t just pretend nothing happened.
Ye Jiu tried to calm him, "Let’s not panic just yet."
He took the visiting card and opened it.
Then, he frowned deeply, "It’s Liu Yunqing’s visiting card!"
"It’s him!" Ye Gaosheng couldn’t quite identify the emotions in his heart.
Initially, when he first arrived in the capital city, Liu Yunqing had indeed taken good care of him, even arranging the inn he stayed at, and helped him inquire about Ye Jiu’s whereabouts.

As they spoke, they ended up ntioning Ye Changsheng and Ye Wenzheng, and their tone was full of envy.
However, when it ca to the Ye Family’s first and second branches, people looked on as if watching a joke.
A few months earlier, both branches had made so money from soap, but now their earnings were not as substantial. Even if their living standard was sowhat better than that of the villagers, compared to Ye Gaosheng, who now lived in a big house, it was barely noticeable.
They were all brothers, and even a few years ago, Ye Gaoshi and Ye Gaoshui seed much shrewder than Ye Gaosheng, but now, their lifestyles were worlds apart.
Then, soone said that Mrs. Zhao was a fool; everything that went wrong in her ho was caused by her, but in the end, others benefited, and she gained little advantage.
