"Hmph!"
An Ning snorted coldly and turned her head away.
It was clear she was still angry at the mont.
Because of him last night, she felt miserable all night long. How could a single bite release her anger?
However, An Ning had to admit, when she saw him first thing in the morning, there was an indescribable joy in her heart.
"Not enough anger released, want another bite?" Sikong Wuyou asked.
"I don’t want to bite you, my mouth would be full of blood, disgusting!" An Ning pouted deliberately.
Yet upon hearing these words, Sikong Wuyou’s body suddenly tensed up.
"You filthy bastard, even the blood running through your veins is foul, the maggots in a dung pit are cleaner than you, why don’t you just die..."
Those filthy and unbearable mories flooded his mind once again, almost making him lose control.
He flipped over abruptly, pinning An Ning on the bed, his gaze extrely serious yet fearful, "An Ning, my blood is not foul."
There was no threat, no coercion, just looking at her, discussing sothing earnest in a serious tone.
However, An Ning was still scared by him.
"Wuyou, what’s wrong with you?"
She seed to feel a sense of loneliness and despair emanating from him.
"An Ning, my blood is not foul." He stated again.
An Ning saw his seriousness but didn’t understand what was happening.
But she could tell how earnest and persistent he was about what he had just said.
So An Ning hastily explained, "I’m sorry, I was just joking, of course your blood isn’t foul."
After An Ning said this, Sikong Wuyou smiled.
It was a relieved smile.
Like a child finally tasting the candy they most wanted, so satisfied.
"Ningning, no matter what happens in the future, please don’t despise , okay?"
Sikong Wuyou’s voice was soft and had an ethereal quality that made her almost think it was an illusion.
But his gaze was so serious.
An Ning could only nod, "You’re the fourth young master of the War Prince Residence, and I’m just a regular peasant girl. Even if soone should be despised, it should be you despising , Sikong Wuyou, how can you steal my lines?"
Ignoring An Ning’s deliberate retort, Sikong Wuyou insisted, "Promise , no matter what happens in the future, you won’t despise ."
At this point, An Ning finally nodded.
"Wuyou, what’s really the matter?" From last night till now, his behavior had been very strange.
Regarding certain words, he seed to have his own obsession, but those words were evidently just ordinary.
"I... I’m fine." He said he was fine, but his eyes were so evasive.
Afraid of provoking him again, An Ning simply stopped speaking, just raised her body and rested her head on his chest.
A long ti later, An Ning spoke again, "Wuyou, no matter what happens in the future, let’s not disdain each other, forever and ever like this, alright?"
"Alright." Sikong Wuyou finally smiled.
At breakfast, Sikong Wuyou insisted on feeding An Ning, using the excuse that her hand was injured.
An Ning couldn’t argue with him, even though it was only her left hand that was hurt.
If it had been before, she certainly would have retorted, "Now you know my hand is hurt and I can’t eat alone, why didn’t you think of this last night?"
But after everything abnormal about him from last night till now, An Ning no longer dared to speak recklessly.
