The bodies glowed and exploded into a mist of blood, but the blood didn’t fall to the ground; it fused together and ford a massive ball.
"What’s going on?" Lily asked.
Silva looked at the ball; he could feel the energy inside. It was definitely demonic energy, and a very pure form at that.
"Hahahaha, what a marvelous sacrifice." A voice suddenly ca out of nowhere. A few seconds later, a figure appeared.
A tall humanoid creature with gray skin and glowing red eyes. It was hunched over, with spikes running down its back to its long tail. Its fingers were inches long and black.
Its mouth was ford like that of a dog, with sharp teeth.
"Hahaha hahaha, I’ll have a feast." It roared, then opened its mouth. Suddenly all the blood flew toward it; it opened wide and all the blood entered.
It used its long black tongue to lick its mouth; a look of satisfaction showed on its face.

Silva looked at the ssage and his face turned grim. This was a demon. He looked at it closely; he could sense the energy that was spilling from its body.
"That’s a demon," he said.
The three turned their heads when they heard that. "What did you say?" Elena asked.
"It’s a demon. They managed to bring a demon," he said.
"Ho ho ho. It seems soone knows what I am; that’s great. These humans said they wanted you dead. They offered their lives in battle as paynt, a paynt which I have collected, and now I must destroy you all." The demon spoke; its voice was gruff and heavy.
"So this is a demon," Andrew said, gripping his sword tighter. "I can sense that it isn’t weak at all."
"No holding back, take it down," Elena said.
Lily moved first; she dashed right for it, spinning her chain. She leaped into the air, spun around, and attacked. The fla lit up in purple flas and struck down like lightning.
The demon turned its head; it licked its lips and leaped into the air as well. It slashed with its claws and struck the chain.
CLANG!
The collision created a shockwave and threw sparks all around. The demon and Lily landed on the ground at the sa ti, then dodged at each other.
"You are a fun human," the demon said. Its speed was no joke; it leaped, spun around, and kicked with the back of its heels.
Lily raised her chain and blocked the kick but was thrown back. Her guard was broken, and it was about to land a finishing move.
But a large wind blade ca from the side. The demon reacted fast and tried to dodge, but the blade dug into its shoulder; dark red blood spilled out.
Roooarrrr.
It roared in pain, spun around, and lunged at Elena, who had attacked.
"Going sowhere already?" Lily said, throwing out her chain. Spikes ca out of the tip and lunged into the back of the demon.
She ignited the flas; it moved through the chain and slamd into its back, causing a massive explosion.
BOOM!
The demon was thrown back; it slamd into the ground and rolled for a few ters before getting on its feet. Its wounds slowly healed right before their eyes.
"It has a healing factor," Andrew said.
"Then we go for the head," Silva said, and dashed. He activated Minotaur’s Rage; there was no ti to waste, he was going all out.
"You stupid humans, I’ll have your blood!" the demon roared. It slamd its foot into the ground, sending a powerful shock through the ground, but Silva leaped over it and used Claw Strike.
It ripped through the air quickly. The demon dodged the attack and lunged at Silva. It attacked with both hands in a hamr strike with its claws; Silva crossed his arms and blocked the attacks.
CLANG!
He was thrown back, but there was a smile on his face. He looked at the demon that was rushing in to finish him and used the force in both hands to blast up into the air quickly.
The demon was stunned; it looked up, and that made it not see the attack that was coming from the front. The chain slamd into its chest and the fla explosion followed.
BOOM!
The demon was blasted black. Silva locked his gaze on the neck of the demon. Elena locked on as well and charged forward.
She was fast as a bullet; she slashed in a clean arc. Silva slashed down as well.
The demon’s eyes moved around quickly, seeing the attack that was coming from both directions.
"You humans are far too cocky; I’ll rip you to shreds. ROARRRRR!" the demon roared. The ground trembled as its demonic energy exploded from its body; it leapt into the air like a rocket.
Covered with a red aura, it looked down and shot down like a missile.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
It slamd into the group, creating a massive explosion that threw all of them back.
They all managed to land on their feet. Elena didn’t even waste a single second; she dashed forward, her eyes turned to slits.
"I’ll take your head, demon," she muttered as she ran.
"Hahaha, you don’t stand a chance!" it roared. It channeled its energy into its fist and punched. The punches ripped through the air and headed for her, but she slashed, cutting through them easily. She looked up and sensed more as the demon exploded into a flurry of punches.
She cut through them as fast as they ca; she didn’t slow down even once, moving forward.
Silva watched her. He gritted his teeth; he wasn’t going to fall behind here. He charged in as well.
"Don’t leave behind," Lily said. She ran and leaped into the air, targeting the head from above, while Andrew rushed in from the side.
