Chapter 199: Chapter 199: Shall We Talk?
"Yufei, don’t chase them. Call the director imdiately, surround this area, and check the caras to see who they are to be so brazen."
Chen Tianlong was sowhat helpless. Their firearms were too many and too fierce, while he only had a few throwing knives, completely devoid of any real weapons.
The key issue was that their machine guns swept through the narrow alley, leaving even an assassin like Chen Tianlong powerless.
As soon as he rushed out, he’d be riddled with holes within a minute.
Zhang Yufei nodded knowingly, took out her phone, dialed, and inford Zhao Bing. Zhao Bing sent five police cars to support, but by the ti the police arrived, Hao Jian had already fled.
However, Chen Tianlong knew these people were definitely still in South Sea City. The sea, land, and air routes were blocked, so it’s unlikely they could escape.
"Director, don’t worry. We’re going to catch them like fish in a barrel; they won’t slip through our fingers."
Chen Tianlong seed to have thought of a plan and continued, "Director Zhao, you should lead a team back to the police station, and then closely monitor all major routes in South Sea City. I’ll accompany Yufei to the Xu Family once more."
"Oh? You think Hao Jian will go to the Xu Family? Zhou Qiang’s n have been staking out there constantly without any sign of activity," Zhao Bing remarked in surprise.
"This ti, we’re not going to catch anyone but to have a chat with Master Hao," Chen Tianlong replied mysteriously, leaving the others puzzled.
Nonetheless, Zhao Bing, knowing Chen Tianlong was smart and wouldn’t really go just to chat, nodded and said, "Alright, but if you take any action, inform
imdiately!"
"No problem!"
Chen Tianlong smiled lightly to show his understanding.
After Director Zhao Bing departed, Chen Tianlong took Zhang Yufei to the streets, leaving her quite puzzled.
"Chen Tianlong, what are you up to? Aren’t we supposed to visit the Hao Family? Why are we out shopping now?" Zhang Yufei questioned in confusion.
"Oh, we are going to the Hao Family, but I need to change clothes first."
Chen Tianlong smiled lightly, maintaining an air of mystery.
About twenty minutes later, the two ca out of the store; Chen Tianlong now was wearing a newly bought suit, sunglasses, and a hat.
"Damn, what are you doing? Filming a movie?" Zhang Yufei couldn’t hold back anymore, asking again after leaving the mall.
Chen Tianlong checked his phone. It was already five-thirty; two more hours until nightfall. After thinking it over, he took Zhang Yufei to a nearby restaurant for dinner.
Feeling speechless, Zhang Yufei wondered if she was on a date with Chen Tianlong, given the eating and shopping, instead of handling business.
"Chen Tianlong, is the task you ntioned just this?"
"Of course not, but to complete the task, we must fill our stomachs first, right?"
Chen Tianlong grinned.
"..."
Zhang Yufei was at a loss for words.
After dinner, Chen Tianlong purposely drove around South Sea City with Zhang Yufei, letting the evening breeze blow away the day’s heat from inside the car.
At this mont, Chen Tianlong looked at his phone and found it was already past seven.
"Alright, we’ve had enough fun. Ti for serious business." Chen Tianlong chuckled at Zhang Yufei, "Let’s go to the Xu Family!"
"Going now? Isn’t it already nightti? Why go there?" Zhang Yufei was bewildered.
"Of course, for the real business. Alright, buckle up!"
As soon as Chen Tianlong finished speaking, he started the engine, and the car slowly drove towards the Xu Family’s location.
This was the city center, and it would take nearly until eight to reach the Xu Family, which was precisely the effect Chen Tianlong desired.
Twenty minutes later, Chen Tianlong parked the car at the community outside the Xu Family’s villa.
"Wait here."
Chen Tianlong donned his hat, his face obscured by the shadows, achieving the aura he wanted—akin to a gang leader on the Shanghai Beach.
Watching his figure slowly fade away, Zhang Yufei felt a mix of emotions, uncertain if Chen Tianlong could manage, since he was only a student with so skills, yet not a deity.
The Hao Family’s villa was no different from others: a front yard, a back garden, luxurious decor, signaling their wealth.
Chen Tianlong entered through the back garden, leaping agilely into the house through a window.
It was a study room. Seeing no one inside, Chen Tianlong quietly opened the door and stepped out. The living room downstairs also seed empty, with only a sound emanating from a room on the second floor.
The sound was intoxicating.
Chen Tianlong naturally knew what that sound was and went directly to open the door, startling the two intertwined on the bed inside.
The man was in his forties, the woman voluptuous and alluring, wearing a face flushed with emotion. Seeing the intruder, they imdiately stopped, and the man shouted angrily, "Who the **** are you? How did you get in?"
Chen Tianlong didn’t answer, walking straight over and sitting on the sofa, pulling his hat brim low enough to obscure his face.
"Mr. Xu, shall we talk?" Chen Tianlong asked straightforwardly.
Hao Dahai was no ordinary shrimp; he was the president controlling the Xu Group. Faced with this situation, he pushed away the frightened woman and, stark naked, grabbed the gun from the drawer, pointing it at Chen Tianlong, "I’ll give you a chance: live or die?"
Just as he spoke, a sudden sound pierced the air, followed by Hao Dahai’s face turning pale, a cry escaping, and the gun falling to the floor from his right hand as his left hand clutched his bleeding right hand.
"Let’s talk." Chen Tianlong repeated.
"Alright, let’s talk."
The gun useless, Hao Dahai realized this person’s power, not to ntion his ability to silently infiltrate the heavily guarded villa and easily reach the bedroom.
Outside the villa, due to Hao Jian’s incident, Hao Shuai had stationed many n around, maintaining a 24-hour vigil and ubiquitous surveillance caras.
Yet the man had entered, leaving Hao Dahai no choice but to talk.
Quickly pulling on his trousers, the woman also dressed and crouched trembling in the corner—clearly Hao Dahai’s mistress.
In such circumstances, Hao Dahai did not lose hope, for he knew this person wasn’t here to kill him; otherwise, he would have acted long ago. Why bother talking?
He simply pressed the wound with a tissue to temporarily stop the bleeding, sat opposite Chen Tianlong on the sofa, and started the conversation: "What do you want to discuss?"
"Your son, Hao Jian!"
Hao Dahai’s expression changed, sensing a dangerous sign: "What do you an?"
"You had people hijack the police car carrying your son Hao Jian. Simply put, it’s prison break—a significant cri, as you well know..."
