Chapter 150: Chapter 150: ngting Is Kidnapped
That night, Hao Kan was secretly rescued by Hao Jian and Mo Shaoyun and rushed to the hospital for ergency treatnt. Eventually, his life was saved.
However, Hao Kan’s right arm was completely crippled, and eighty percent of his body’s ridians were broken, which, for an Ancient Martial Artist, was practically a death sentence.
When Hao Kan learned of this news, he was utterly devastated, shutting himself in his room, refusing to eat or drink, and unwilling to go outside.
A few days later, during noon, at the sports field.
Mo Shaoyun, Hao Jian, and Liu Wenbin leaned against the fence, each lighting a cigarette and leisurely blowing smoke rings.
"From what I gathered, that Chen Tianlong guy has no parents, and his mother is a hillbilly from the countryside. What’s more, I heard he and the school flower Wu ngting have beco a couple. Wu ngting is really sothing, tsk tsk..."
Liu Wenbin sneered as he spoke.
"No way, Liu Wenbin, are you even sparing your classmates?" Mo Shaoyun was taken aback, exhaled a puff of smoke, and gave Liu Wenbin a sideways glance.
Liu Wenbin looked around, saw no one nearby, gestured for the other two to co closer, and the three whispered together for a while. Once their opinions aligned, they headed back to the dormitory.
Strangely enough, Chen Tianlong had a dream at noon and dread of Wu ngting.
Today was Friday, and if there were no activities, Wu ngting would usually choose to return to her grandfather’s house. So in the afternoon, Chen Tianlong’s right eye twitched inexplicably, and he had a feeling sothing was about to happen.
According to folk legend, a twitching left eye ans fortune, while a twitching right eye ans disaster.
Therefore, Chen Tianlong decided that after school today, he would personally escort Wu ngting. The two were in a relationship after all, and despite only not seeing each other for a couple of days, he missed her dearly.
As soon as school ended, Mo Shaoyun saw Chen Tianlong rushing out as if he realized sothing had happened. He quickly called Liu Wenbin, urging them to act faster.
Outside the Class 3 of Grade 12 classroom, Wu ngting, as usual, walked out of the classroom carrying a backpack, intending to head ho.
At that mont, a mysterious text arrived, saying it was sent by her grandfather from soone else’s phone at her door, apologizing for wasting their phone credit.
Initially, Wu ngting felt sothing was off, but when she called her grandfather, the line was busy. In a panic, she had no choice but to go out personally.
When she reached the school gate, Wu ngting looked around by the flowerbed. Suddenly, a black Audi swung around in front of her, leaving her dumbfounded.
By the ti she reacted, two n in black wearing sunglasses, obscuring their faces, jumped out of the car, grabbed her, covered her mouth, and pulled her into the car.
At that mont, the school guard saw what happened and chased after them, only to see the people getting into a black car and speeding away.
Tang Qiqi told Chen Tianlong that Wu ngting had rushed to the school gate just now, and he didn’t know why. Upon hearing this, Chen Tianlong felt inexplicably worried, his hand inadvertently tightening around his ring.
Whenever this happened, he knew that sothing significant was about to unfold.
Chen Tianlong quickly walked to the school gate and from afar saw a car drifting in, two people getting out of the car and startling Wu ngting as they took her away.
Seeing this, Chen Tianlong wanted to curse, but the vehicle was already far away.
At this mont, Chen Tianlong saw a motorcycle parked nearby, with a female cop handling an incident not far away. Without much thought, he jumped on, turned the key, and gunned the motor to speed forward.
Today, Zhang Yufei was patrolling, and after seeing soone ahead involved in a dispute, she parked her bike, montarily forgot to take out the key, and in the blink of an eye, the bike was stolen. The back view of that person seed familiar, but she couldn’t recall who it was.
Thus, she imdiately opened the radio, requesting her colleagues for support.
Left with no choice, Zhang Yufei had to pick up the bicycle Chen Tianlong had thrown aside, her face livid as she sped forward.
"You brat, wait till I catch you. I’ll skin you alive for daring to steal my motorcycle. You must have a death wish."
Zhang Yufei was on the verge of exploding, having already been infuriated from mistakenly entering the wrong room during a hotel check-up yesterday. She had yet to calm down, and now this infuriating thing happened again.
The police motorcycle was different, its speed unrivaled. Under Chen Tianlong’s high-speed pursuit, he finally spotted the black BMW from earlier. Most importantly, Chen Tianlong was on a police bike, so with the siren blaring, even running a red light was no issue.
After a swift chase, he was now less than a hundred ters away from the Audi.
"Damn, there’s a cop behind us, what’s going on?"
One of the underlings was shocked. Even if soone called the police, they wouldn’t arrive this quickly, right? It had only been three minutes since they grabbed the girl, and the cops had already shown up?
Since when has the South Sea City police force been so efficient?
Liu Wenbin was also stunned, but when he looked in the rearview mirror, his eyes widened.
What the hell, it’s Chen Tianlong. How did that kid get here so fast!
"Quick, accelerate! It’s that kid Chen Tianlong chasing us." Hao Jian was very anxious; this was a dire situation. The original plan was to take the girl to the Flying Eagle Gang headquarters, where Hao Shuai and other experts were. If Chen Tianlong went there, he’d walk right into a trap.
But now, being chased halfway by that kid was truly frustrating.
The underling driving nodded, stepped on the gas, and began to race.
Chen Tianlong frowned, aware they had accelerated. Catching up was doable, but figuring out how to stop them was the key issue.
He realized he was only on a motorcycle, and charging ahead to intercept them was essentially a death wish.
"Ha, just a crappy motorcycle trying to catch us? That’s a joke!" Hao Jian, seeing Chen Tianlong falling far behind, was imnsely proud.
But Chen Tianlong simply smiled, noticing that they were nearing Qishan Pass. This area had lots of curves and was hazardous. The mountain road had only simple barriers, and once out, they’d plunge down the mountain, guaranteed to crash and burn.
"Better speed up; this kid’s got sothing strange about him. Who knows if he’ll catch up later." Hao Jian was still uneasy. Beyond Qishan was the Flying Eagle Gang headquarters, and once there, even if Chen Tianlong pursued them, it wouldn’t be his problem anymore.
"Young Master Hao, don’t worry. With so many turns here, that kid’s on a motorcycle. I’m sure he won’t dare go too fast; by then, he’ll be wrecked at," the driver casually said with a grin.
However, just as they were about to slow down entering a curve, they suddenly saw a blur. The next second, a gray motorcycle whisked past, drawing a perfect arc and overtaking them in an instant.
"What the hell, how is that possible?" Hao Jian’s eyes widened, and the other two in the car were also dumbfounded.
"Young Master Hao, we’ve been overtaken. That kid is not human; he sped up instead of slowing down on the curve! He’s crazy." The driver was trembling slightly; if it were him, he would’ve flown off the cliff long ago.
