Chapter 1007: Chapter 1005: Zombie King Kong Fan
Pink Powerful Qi, mixed with Evil Qi, is the Powerful Qi unique to the Dark Race. When Chen Tianlong was an assassin, he heard that the Dark Race people are actually zombies.
This race mainly developed from Zombie King Kong Fan, the first generation Zombie King who was bitten and turned others into the second generation. However, Chen Tianlong didn’t understand why Bing Ruxue got involved with the Zombie King.
Taking advantage of Bing Ruxue being frozen, Chen Tianlong quickly took out nine silver needles and pierced them into her various acupoints, then infused a burst of Powerful Qi into Bing Ruxue’s forehead to awaken her.
Two minutes later, amidst a tense atmosphere, Bing Ruxue took a deep breath and opened her eyes.
"Ruxue, are you alright?" Chen Tianlong asked with concern.
"Huh? What’s wrong? Did sothing happen?" Bing Ruxue clearly didn’t know what had transpired.
Chen Tianlong smiled bitterly, wondering what kind of place this array had sent them to, so eerie and reminiscent of a ghost story scene.
Indeed~
The Ice and Snow Realm is a world that was lost long ago, or rather, a world that died thousands of years ago.
"Alright, let’s all head over there and take a look." Chen Tianlong pointed to the mysterious castle, the only place where there might be people. In order to understand this situation here, Chen Tianlong had to take the risk, even though everything remained unknown.
Everyone felt uneasy in their hearts; this place was too strange, mysterious, and difficult to describe why.
Ten minutes later, they entered the castle. It was a bustling city, crowded with cars, very lively, much like their own city.
"Wow, it’s so lively here!" Lu Xiaoyu, seeing the scene, imdiately forgot about the previous tension and wandered around happily. However, Chen Tianlong felt sothing was amiss.
If this place were an ancient array, then the city they entered should be ancient, not the modern high-tech city with towering buildings. Therefore, he felt it was an illusion.
"Everyone should be careful; everything we see now is fake!" Chen Tianlong was clear-headed, or perhaps he was the only one who could traverse various arrays and remain unaffected.
The group nodded and followed closely behind.
Sure enough, after walking for a while, the surroundings suddenly disappeared, turning into a deserted ghost city.
Only a cold wind blew through the streets, snow fell from the sky, and the weather was gloomy and overcast, sowhat eerie. Seeing this, the girls began to feel scared, including Bing Ruxue.
Only Chen Tianlong operated the Heart thod, carefully surveying the surroundings to guard against any unforeseeable events.
Suddenly, an old man appeared ahead, bald, with a white beard, holding a gourd. He looked very much like the Drunken Sword Immortal from a TV drama, except he had no sword.
He was the only person on the street who hadn’t vanished, so Chen Tianlong curiously led the group towards him.
"Wait a second, old man, I want to ask you sothing!" Chen Tianlong hurried up to ask.
The old man raised his head slightly, studied the group for a mont, then said: "Why have you co here? Quickly return to where you ca from."
"We didn’t want to co here; this place is desolate, who’d want to co? We accidentally stumbled in, and now we can’t find our way back." Chen Tianlong smiled bitterly.
The old man’s brows furrowed; seeing the young man seed truthful, he took a deep breath and said: "Keep heading west, and try to reach a place called Moon Viewing Pavilion before dark, or you’ll be in big trouble."
"Why?" Chen Tianlong asked, puzzled.
"It’s best not to ask too much, just listen to my advice."
"Old man, you’re not being clear. How do we know you’re not deceiving us? What if you trick us?" Lu Xiaoyu, seeing the old man’s strong attitude, couldn’t hold back.
"Haha, listen or don’t; if sothing happens, don’t bla
for not warning you." The old man finished speaking and turned to leave.
And while the group was distracted, the old man disappeared.
"Chen Tianlong, the old man seems to be gone!" Wu ngting, always perceptive, quickly noticed what was wrong.
Chen Tianlong looked up; indeed, he was gone.
Taking a deep breath, Chen Tianlong rembered the old man’s advice and said to the group: "We should head west to the Moon Viewing Pavilion."
Everyone nodded and started following Chen Tianlong.
After about ten minutes, a clear bell sound suddenly rang from sowhere, startling everyone and making them stop imdiately. At this mont, the snow in the sky stopped, replaced by dense clouds.
After a gust of wind started, suddenly a dark figure appeared ahead.
Wearing a black robe, his face was strangely alluring, yes, alluring, with purple lips.
"So you’ve actually co to the Ice and Snow Realm, why not visit my place!" The man nad Kong Fan, the legendary Zombie King, and Kong Fan’s story was surely known in the Ice and Snow Realm.
Before becoming a zombie, Kong Fan liked a girl, who was the princess of Snow Valley, the Snow Elent inheritor.
Kong Fan was a businessman, to be precise, not a very successful one, while the princess of Snow Valley was a wealthy lady with everything she could want, loving a commoner would surely et countless obstacles.
But the princess Xue’Er loved deeply; after they fell in love, they quickly decided to marry.
However, the Valley Master of Snow Valley disagreed, so they secretly held a small wedding in the Ice and Snow City’s chapel. The wedding wasn’t lavish, with only a dozen of Kong Fan’s friends, and the princess Xue’Er brought only her best friend and a male friend she played well with.
That day, the weather was gloomy, ready to snow outside.
Just as the two were joyfully about to exchange rings, suddenly a group of people rushed in, killing those they saw, leaving only the two of them.
Later, they learned these people were arranged by the Valley Master of Snow Valley, threatening that if the two persisted, they would kill Kong Fan.
Kong Fan was very angry, but for Xue’Er, he endured the pain and fled with her. Unfortunately, the chapel was surrounded, and Kong Fan was shot by arrows, while Xue’Er shielded him with her frail body.
Thus, Xue’Er died, pierced by countless arrows.
In fury, Kong Fan swore a venomous oath, saying he would beco a vengeful ghost after death, sweeping through Snow Valley and causing havoc in the Ice and Snow Realm.
This oath, like a curse, ingrained in Kong Fan’s soul, accumulated into a cloud of resentnt that lingered above the chapel.
Kong Fan was ultimately killed by arrows.
His body was thrown into the frozen Xiangsi Lake, transforming into an ice sculpture.
On the seventh day, the Night of the Returning Soul, Kong Fan didn’t turn into a vengeful ghost but instead revived, albeit at a cost—his blood was not red but black.
