Fu Chenlie looked down at her from above, "What kind of transaction?"

Wen Ran fell silent.

She knew he was a smart man, pretending to speak in riddles simply because he did not want to answer her question.

Ding—

The elevator arrived.

Wen Ran followed Fu Chenlie out of the elevator.

A few steps later, he stopped in front of a private room, pressed the handle and pushed open the door.

There were two n sitting in the private room.

One of them was recognizable to Wen Ran, it was Lu Jinglun.

The other had an unfamiliar face; she did not know him.

"Yo, why did you bring Little White Rabbit along? Is she going to drink with us?"

"Since when does a driver deserve to sit and drink with you?"

"...Your words are quite tasteless. Who is Little White Rabbit? She’s your wife, not just any ordinary driver."

Fu Chenlie replied coldly, "The role of a driver is to drive and take people places, not to drink."

The other stranger, originally smoking a cigarette, listened to their conversation, removed the cigarette from his lips, looked at Fu Chenlie while flicking his ash, "I heard from Grandma last ti that you got married, I thought it was a roundabout way of pushing you to marry."

Fu Chenlie did not say anything, found a place to sit down, not once glancing at Wen Ran. He had no concern for whether she felt out of place being in this kind of environnt.

Still, it was Lu Jinglun who took the initiative to strike up a conversation with her, "Little White Rabbit doesn’t know Mr. He, right? He, I, and Ah Lie, the three of us have been friends since we were in diapers."

Wen Ran nodded politely and smiled at the man, "Hello, I am Wen Ran."

The man nodded back at her, "Wang Zhenghe."

Seeing her smile at Wang Zhenghe, Fu Chenlie frowned slightly and scolded her coldly, "Why are you just standing there? Co over!"

Wen Ran walked silently over to him and sat down.

Lu Jinglun chuckled lightly, looked at her and asked, "We only have alcohol here. Little White Rabbit, what would you like to drink? I’ll have soone bring it to you."

"It’s fine, you don’t have to worry about . Go ahead with your drinking."

"Oh, but how can I not?"

Saying this, Lu Jinglun dialed a number and after getting connected, he instructed, "Send over so juice, non-alcoholic."

After hanging up the phone, he looked at Fu Chenlie, "Why did you bring Little White Rabbit to this place? Are you showing off that you’ve got a wife now, or do you want her to get to know Mr. He?"

"Is it necessary to specifically introduce a driver?"

"Then what’s your intention?"

Fu Chenlie took out a cigarette from his pocket, and while lighting it, glanced at Wen Ran out of the corner of his eye, spoke indifferently, "If you drink too much later, she’ll take you ho."

Hearing this, Wen Ran’s face subtly changed.

Sure, she was a driver, but nevertheless a woman. Sending his buddies ho in the middle of the night, what was this supposed to an?!

Even Lu Jinglun could not stand to watch, pressing him, "Are you serious?"

"When have I ever joked with you?"

"To have a woman drive three n ho late at night, you might not feel embarrassed, but I do."

Knock knock knock—

Right then, soone knocked on the door of the private room.

"Co in," Lu Jinglun called out.

The door was pushed open, and Wen Ran, completely disinterested, looked over.

The girl bringing the drink looked to be about her age.

Wen Ran wasn’t sure if it was a woman’s sixth sense being too accurate, but she noticed the mont the girl opened the door and clearly saw who was seated inside, she gave Wen Ran an unfriendly glance, and even the calm in her eyes rippled.

Afterward, she kept staring at Fu Chenlie, even when she ca over to ask, her gaze was on him, "Mr. Fu, is the juice for this young lady next to you?"

Hearing her address Fu Chenlie as "Mr. Fu," Wen Ran realized—

They knew each other.

Then, what was their relationship?
