Fu Chenlie not only went along with her antics but was very cooperative.

...

The next day was Friday.

Fu Chenlie arranged for a driver to take Wen Ran to the Fu Group.

After she left, he took another car from the Fu Group’s underground garage, ready to go to the hospital.

The car had just driven out of the villa for two or three minutes when the man’s phone rang.

He glanced at the note, swiped to answer, "I’m already on my way to the hospital."

"Ah Lie, I feel a bit nauseous and not suitable for driving. Can you co and pick up?"

"I’ll be there soon."

Jiang Wan Ning seed delighted and quickly said, "Okay, I’ll wait for you at ho."

Fifteen minutes later, the man arrived at his destination.

The villa Jiang Wan Ning was now living in was one he bought for her when they were together before, so he was quite familiar with the surroundings.

After the car stopped, he called her, "I’m here, co out."

"Okay, right away."

"Alright."

After the call ended, Fu Chenlie turned the car around.

Jiang Wan Ning soon ca out.

She walked to the passenger side and opened the car door.

The woman lifted one leg, just about to get in, when he suddenly spoke to stop her, "Sit in the back, sitting in the front is not appropriate."

Jiang Wan Ning was startled for a mont.

After regaining her senses, she smiled and reminded, "Ah Lie, Ms. Wen is not here today, this seat is empty."

Fu Chenlie looked at her with an indistinct expression, "Whether my wife is here or not, this seat is always hers, no one can replace her."

Jiang Wan Ning was stunned.

He had made it so clear, if she still didn’t understand, it would be as though those years had been lived in vain.

She curled her lips into a slightly unnatural smile, "I understand."

With that, the woman got into the back seat.

The car quickly drove away.

Jiang Wan Ning sat in the back, staring at the man in the driver’s seat, feeling sowhat restless inside.

This man was originally hers.

If he hadn’t been in a coma after the car accident, they might have already been together by now, perhaps even with a child.

But, in that car accident, she panicked and made the wrong decision.

Now sitting in the back, looking at him, she could only see his side profile, but even so, his distinctive aura and refinent were not obscured at all.

He was still so... extraordinary.

In 24 years, Jiang Wan Ning had never seen another man like Fu Chenlie.

She wanted to hold onto him, not just for the status of being Mrs. Fu, or for the position of CEO’s wife of the Fu Group, but because she truly liked him, liked how he was handso, calm, unreadable in emotions yet imnsely charming and successful.

Jiang Wan Ning spoke softly, "Ah Lie, do you hate ?"

"Hate you for what?"

"Hate for leaving when you were in a coma two years ago, then coming back after you got married."

In front, the man driving had no expression on his face, responding indifferently, "Didn’t you leave to get treatnt? If that’s the case, what is there to hate?"

"We loved each other so much back then, and now just two years later, everything has changed. Do you have any regrets?"

"No."

Jiang Wan Ning was stunned.

He actually answered so decisively?!

She didn’t want to believe it and asked again, "Really no regrets?"

Fu Chenlie replied with little emotion, "Everything is arranged for the best. My wife and I are in harmony, living happily, why should I have regrets?"

"What about ? Was your forr affection for all false?"

"It was real before, but since you left, it ans I have the right to make a new choice."

With that, he glanced back with the edge of his eye and solemnly clarified, "My current choice is Wen Ran."
