Wen Ran tightened her hand by her side.
Jiang Wan Ning’s mocking and sarcastic words were all knives handed to her by Fu Chenlie.
She felt a bit suffocated.
But no matter how uncomfortable, she must not lose her montum in front of Jiang Wan Ning.
Wen Ran turned her head to look at her, pulling a cold smile: "My husband has always been clear about business and personal matters, but I’m very surprised that Ms. Wan Ning can be so self-delusional."
"Self-delusional? Do you believe what you’re saying yourself?"
"You always think you’re special in my husband’s eyes, isn’t that self-delusional? Tell , if my husband really had so unclear thoughts about you, why doesn’t he divorce and marry you?"
To save face, Jiang Wan Ning speculated: "Ah Lie just doesn’t know how to tell you."
Wen Ran chuckled lightly, raising her eyes to look at her: "But I did open up to him. I said that if he wanted to be with you, he could divorce directly. I completely agree and promise not to bother him. Guess what my husband said?"
Jiang Wan Ning’s face was sowhat hard to maintain, with embarrassnt and surprise in her eyes.
Wen Ran said indifferently: "Not only did he not divorce , he said I was his firm final choice. Of course, my husband said other things to give a sense of security. He spoke all sorts of sweet words, but what exactly he said is between a husband and wife, so I won’t relay it to Ms. Wan Ning, who is an outsider."
Ding—
The elevator arrived, it was the floor Jiang Wan Ning was going to.
However, after the door opened, she showed no intention of getting off.
Wen Ran glanced at the red numbers on the elevator and spoke lightly: "What, does Ms. Wan Ning want to go upstairs with to continue reporting work to my husband?"
Jiang Wan Ning snorted.
Her eyes fiercely swept over her, with a few warnings in her words: "Wen Ran, don’t be too pleased with yourself."
Wen Ran watched as she revealed her true intention like a fox’s tail, but she said nothing.
The latter looked at her with contempt and declared: "How many days have I been back? The days ahead are still long. I have plenty of ways to rekindle Ah Lie’s old fla for . Just wait and see."
Wen Ran raised her eyes to et her gaze, and found that this statent aroused her sense of competitiveness without reason.
She curled her lips into a slightly indifferent smile: "Ms. Wan Ning, have you ever heard that n have a kind of special feeling for the first woman they touch? My husband once told he only touched . So sotis I’m curious, you dated for a few years, yet he never had the impulse to be intimate with you. Where does your confidence co from to make him rekindle old feelings for you?"
"Ms. Wen, is using your body the only skill you have to keep a man?"
"Of course not, but even during the early days of our flash marriage, he always wanted to be intimate with . I initially rejected him and even injured him, yet he didn’t bla . Of course, that’s not the point. The point is my husband likes , not just my body but myself as a person. Otherwise, he could have easily coerced , considering I’m just a weak woman. If he insisted, there was nothing I could do. But he respected and didn’t punish for hurting him, which is quite moving to ."
With that said, the smile on Wen Ran’s lips deepened, along with the kind of proudness that Jiang Wan Ning always intentionally or unintentionally showed in front of her: "I didn’t know Fu Chenlie could be so clingy until I truly liked him and got intimate with him. I realized he’s not as cold as he seems on the surface. I quite like how he’s cold to others but warms to alone. I’m so lucky to marry Ah Lie, and I should thank Ms. Wan Ning for leaving without a word two years ago."
