On the weekend, Wen Ran went shopping with Fu Tianxin as they had planned before.
Fu Tianxin enjoyed playing gas, so they went to the arcade. Wen Ran watched her play and couldn’t help but laugh several tis at her emotional ups and downs.
As noon approached, they found a restaurant to have lunch together.
While waiting for the food, Fu Tianxin looked at Wen Ran and asked, "Sister-in-law, you’re out shopping with today. Where’s my brother? Is he working at ho even on the weekend?"
"I don’t know, I didn’t ask when I left."
"You’re really laid back."
Wen Ran smiled, "He’s an adult. I can’t treat him like a child and keep an eye on him."
Fu Tianxin kindly reminded, "But sister-in-law, I heard that Jiang Wan Ning is back. Jiang Wan Ning really has a way with things. Back when she was with my brother, she had him wrapped around her finger. He spent a lot of money on her, without getting married or even engaged, he bought cars and houses for her. Her skills are truly admirable."
"Maybe your brother really liked her at that ti. Plus, he wasn’t short on money, so he was generous."
"My brother thought Jiang Wan Ning was like a savior to him. No amount was too much. Honestly, when he was with Jiang Wan Ning, I never really saw him being that into her. But now that he’s married to you, every ti he looks at you, I find his gaze really gentle."
Upon hearing this, Wen Ran couldn’t help but ask, "Really?"
"Of course it’s true. I never lie. Even back when you two first got your marriage certificate and he brought you to the Fu Residence, he was very attentive to you."
"At that ti, he was just putting on a show for Grandma."
Fu Tianxin raised her eyebrows in slight surprise, then laughed, "Oh, my brother has never pretended for anyone. Plus, back then, the way he looked at you showed he liked you a lot. Even when Grandma wasn’t looking, he was secretly glancing at you."
Wen Ran was quite pleasantly surprised, "Is that true?"
"Yes, I rember it very clearly."
"I didn’t expect your brother to be quite interesting."
Fu Tianxin nodded and praised her brother while also complinting Wen Ran, "My brother is amazing. Only a woman as considerate, understanding, and beautiful as you matches him. If soone else were my sister-in-law, I wouldn’t be hanging out with her for no reason."
The latter laughed happily, "That’s high praise."
With that, she thought of sothing and looked at her companion, asking, "Tianxin, what do you want to buy? I’ll get it for you later?"
"Really?"
"Of course, I haven’t given you a gift yet. I’ll take the chance today to give you one."
Fu Tianxin giggled, "Sure."
After lunch, they continued shopping.
Fu Tianxin went into a figurine shop, and Wen Ran bought many blind boxes for her. After they finished, the two found a bubble tea shop and sat side by side to open the blind boxes.
Every ti she opened one she liked, Fu Tianxin was overjoyed.
Watching her happiness, Wen Ran felt infected by it and thought the day was indeed fun.
When she was about to open the last blind box, her phone rang.
Wen Ran received a ssage from Qin Zeyu.
Initially worried that Fu Chenlie might get upset if he discovered Qin Zeyu ssaged her, she opened the chat box to find he had sent a photo of Fu Chenlie and Jiang Wan Ning together.
Wen Ran’s expression imdiately changed.
Fu Tianxin, who was opening blind boxes, sensed sothing was wrong and glanced at her from the corner of her eye.
To her surprise, she discovered that her sister-in-law was looking at a picture of Jiang Wan Ning with her brother. Her hands froze, and her expression changed, "My... My brother went to et Jiang Wan Ning behind your back?!"
