The man’s throat bobbed, and his pressing gaze fixed on her. "Wen Ran, I haven’t been picking on you or bullying you lately, and I haven’t been as venomous in my words as before, right?"

"Right, why suddenly ask this?" As she spoke, she tried to fiddle with his hand.

His large palm at her waist remained still, but his low, husky voice did enter her ears. "I’ve changed so much, do you kinda like now?"

Wen Ran stiffened.

What... did he just say?

Kinda like him now?

The man couldn’t wait and prompted, "Hmm?"

Wen Ran ca back to her senses. "You don’t even like , why should I like you?"

"I told you before, I’ve beco a bit interested in you."

"However, you also said that the woman you like definitely isn’t like ."

Fu Chenlie raised an eyebrow, nearly at his wit’s end with this woman.

He clenched his back teeth and lowered his voice. "Wen Ran, don’t you rember anything good about , hmm?"

"Rember? You don’t need to cook for you anymore."

"Don’t like ?"

She pursed her lips, offering a playful response. "It’s okay, I don’t hate you."

The man snorted coldly, boastfully saying. "One day, I’ll make you say you like with your own mouth."

Wen Ran, "..."

Quite confident, aren’t we?

Fu Chenlie watched as she didn’t say anything, but her eyes rolled around, clearly holding back so less-than-kind words in her heart, making him chuckle for a mont. Mischievously, he clasped her chin and bent down to kiss her.

Wen Ran startled, and looking at the busy servants not far away, she pushed him without thinking.

But the man held her even tighter.

Especially since today, his kisses were very ticulous, very gentle, yet also profound.

It was as if her heart was brushed by a feather, tickling, with a trembling tendency, and her face had long turned red as a ripe apple.

When Fu Chenlie finally drew back from the kiss, his thin lips paused by her ear, and a light chuckle escaped his breath. "Mrs. Fu, just a kiss and you react so fearfully, if we went to bed, you’d probably end up crying, huh?"

Wen Ran’s eyes widened in an instant.

What lewd stuff was he saying?!

She gathered all her strength to push him away. "You... at least rember you’re the CEO of Fu Group, cannot you stop talking dirty? You might not care, but I do!"

"If I don’t say it, how would I get to see Mrs. Fu blushing and with flushed ears?"

"Just don’t look."

He promptly replied, "Can’t do that, I enjoy watching you looking so untouched and your heart fluttering."

Wen Ran was so nervous she almost stuttered. "You... shut up!"

Fu Chenlie’s eyes twinkled with amusent as he gracefully played with her hair. "Mrs. Fu, flirting is a man’s prerogative. If I say nothing, when it really cos ti to do it, you’d find it boring, given your reserved nature. You probably wouldn’t be the type to pin your man underneath, would you?"

Wen Ran felt like her worldview was about to shatter.

Who was her man?

They still hadn’t consummated their husband-and-wife relationship.

Embarrassed and annoyed, Wen Ran stared at him and changed the subject. "Are we going or not?"

After teasing her, he felt quite content, his lips curved in a slight smile. "Naturally, we’re going. Don’t we still have to buy matching rings?"

Matching rings?

She couldn’t believe he rembered!

Wen Ran pushed him away and opened the passenger door to get into the car. After the car door separated them, she patted her face with her hand, silently repeating in her heart: Stay calm, Wen Ran, stay calm!

After Fu Chenlie got into the car, he glanced at Wen Ran out of the corner of his eye, noticing her blushing and flushed face hadn’t yet faded, and he didn’t tease her further.

Heh, such thin skin.

The car had only been on the road for five minutes when Fu Chenlie’s phone on the center console rang.

He glanced at Wen Ran. "Answer it, turn on speakerphone."

"Oh," Wen Ran complied, picking up the phone. "It’s Assistant Cheng calling."

The man grunted in acknowledgnt.

She swiped to answer and pressed speakerphone.

Cheng Cheng’s voice ca through quickly. "Mr. Fu, we’ve found Ms. Wan Ning’s exact location in England, I..."

Impulsively, Fu Chenlie slamd on the brakes, snatched the phone from Wen Ran’s hand, and turned off the speakerphone.
