The plane landed at Don Mueang Airport, local ti was ten in the morning.
Renee Winslow stepped out of the cabin and saw the man holding an umbrella in the rain, stunned on the spot, and then her eyes welled up, tears streaming uncontrollably down her face.
Jack Yates was dressed in a sharply-cut black suit, holding a large black umbrella with his well-defined hand, and as soon as Renee walked out of the cabin, he quickly walked to the bottom of the stairway.
Caleb Yates followed behind Renee and was not surprised to see Jack Yates, instead, he laughed, "Third Uncle, you’re really sothing, even here in Southea you can call the shots."
Jack glanced sternly at Caleb, gestured with his hand, and coldly ordered, "Tie him up."
However, just as Harvey Lancaster was about to tie up Caleb, Caleb shouted, "Renee, watch out," and imdiately lunged towards Renee.
But he was still a step too slow, Jack had already embraced Renee, spinning quickly to shield her, as a bullet grazed his ear and hit the column in front.
Renee was so frightened that her heart almost stopped, her small hands clutching Jack’s clothes tightly, her lips pale.
The airport descended into chaos, people scread, and so crouched down with their heads covered.
Security personnel hurried over to evacuate the crowd.
Jack, with one arm around Renee and a gun in the other hand, quickly headed towards the car.
The car door opened, and Jack pushed Renee inside.
As he was about to go around to the other side, Caleb rushed over and opened the car door.
Jack’s eyes narrowed, he approached quickly and kicked Caleb in the leg.
Caleb stumbled from the kick, and Jack hurriedly opened the back door and got inside.
Renee: "..."
Isn’t this really the ti for them to be fighting over a seat? Aren’t they afraid of dying?
Caleb didn’t get the back seat, more precisely, he didn’t get the seat next to Renee, so he had to sit in the front passenger seat.
Harvey got into the car and started it up, leaving with four Audis escorting them at the front and back.
As soon as they left the airport, a car imdiately followed and crashed into one of the Audis.
With a loud bang, Renee was frightened and shook.
Jack held her waist tightly and reassured her in a low voice, "Don’t be afraid, close your eyes, and by the ti you wake up we’ll be at the hotel."
Caleb sneered, "Third Uncle, you’re almost thirty, not a young man in your twenties anymore. As the saying goes, at thirty, one should stand firm. You’re already at that age, can’t you stop being so reckless?"
Jack ignored him, turned his head and kissed Renee’s forehead, "Don’t be afraid, I’m here."
Jack deliberately called Renee "atball," showing their intimacy.
Caleb listened to the cheesy and sickening nickna, feeling angry and a bit jealous, gritting his teeth in resentnt, he continued with his mocking, "Third Uncle, knowing that there are so many people here wanting you dead, you still co here and even bring Renee, don’t you find your actions selfish?"
Jack still ignored Caleb, but whispered to Renee, "Baby, I’m sorry, it’s my fault this ti."
Listening to this even more affectionate endearnt, Caleb felt a lump in his throat, nearly choking with anger.
Unwilling to give up, Caleb pressed on with more sarcasm, "Third Uncle, back in Northcity, the entire Quadrangle calls you ’Third Master.’ You could have stayed put and looked after the market there, but you’re not satisfied and ca here to reign. How can people not hate you?"
"If you weren’t so overbearing, stepping on Matthew Shaw’s toes, he wouldn’t have tead up with Ethan Wyatt to set you up. Ethan Wyatt, that rciless viper, people generally avoid provoking him unless forced."
Jack coldly said, "Cut his tongue out."
Caleb hurriedly turned his head and said to Renee, "Renee, see? Wasn’t I right? Isn’t he just like those ruthless drug lords?"
Renee leaned against Jack without saying a word, pretending to be asleep.
Jack took off his suit jacket, wrapped it around Renee, covering her head as well, then picked up his gun and pressed it against Caleb’s head, "Do you believe I’ll kill you?"
