Renee Winslow actually wanted to buy a high-speed train ticket, or a plane ticket, and leave Northcity coolly and unfeelingly, go to any place for a couple of days, as anyway it was Saturday the next day and she didn’t have class, she could co back in the evening on the weekend.
But she didn’t dare, and she knew very well that she simply couldn’t leave.
Not to ntion the two bodyguards who followed her incessantly, even without them, with Jack Yates’ imnse influence in The Quadrangle, she couldn’t even make it to the security checkpoint.
Being hijacked in Constantium was the best example, that was abroad, and Jack Yates managed to intercept her plane with four fighter jets, let alone in Northcity.
Jack Yates was too powerful, this man was like a majestic and dangerous snowy mountain, which she couldn’t cross in her lifeti.
So in the end, she just limply wandered around the subway twice, which was the only act of resistance she could muster, any bolder acts she neither had the guts nor ability to do.
At this mont, hearing Jack Yates’ joking romantic words, Renee Winslow’s heart ached, tears welled up and rolled down like beans.
Jack Yates directly picked her up and quickly walked towards the red-flagged car.
Renee Winslow pushed his chest: "Put down."
Jack Yates didn’t put her down, holding her, he walked faster, reached the car, opened the door, put her inside, turned around to the other side, and bent down to sit in the car.
Renee Winslow was wiping her tears with her head down, suddenly she was embraced by Jack Yates at the waist, before she could react, she was already held in his arms.
"What are you doing?" Renee Winslow pushed and hit him, "Jack Yates, let go of !"
Jack Yates tightened his grip on her waist, holding her firmly on his lap, while his other hand clasped the back of her neck tightly, lowering his head to forcefully kiss her lips.
Renee Winslow’s hands pushed and hit his shoulders, yet the man was unmoved, instead, he kissed her deeper.
Not until Renee Winslow was almost out of breath did Jack Yates let her go, his thumb gently stroking her flushed lips, breathing heavily, he said: "This should not happen again, don’t run away from ho even if you are angry."
When Renee Winslow heard the words "run away from ho," she found it extrely ironic.
Ho?
Did she have a ho here?
Or did she even have a ho in this world?
No, she had no ho.
No ho, so how could she run away from ho?
Even more ridiculous was that Jack Yates considered her grievances, dissatisfaction, and anger as willfulness, thought she was throwing a tantrum.
Renee Winslow completely gave in, bowed her head and started laughing, laughing so hard that tears flowed endlessly.
The tears fell on Jack Yates’ lap, soaking his black suit pants, seeping through his skin into his body, as if rging into his bloodstream, coursing to his heart.
And those tears flooded his heart, raising a tide.
Jack Yates felt like his heart was swollen and sore from being soaked in tears, so unpleasant that he wanted to tear this heartless woman apart and rge her into his body.
"Do you hate that much?" Jack Yates pinched her chin hard, forcing her to raise her head, "It was just a kiss, was it that unbearable?"
Renee Winslow kept her eyes closed, didn’t speak, and didn’t look at him, letting the tears flow down her face.
Jack Yates tilted his head, biting her neck like a cheetah, feeling her shiver, he released her in haste and lifted his head to look at her.
Renee Winslow looked at him with reddened eyes, filled with hatred.
Jack Yates didn’t want to see her full of hatred, he feared losing control, feared doing sothing that would hurt her.
He quickly unbuttoned his shirt, revealing his firm, muscular chest, pressing her head to his chest with a big hand, in a low voice he said: "If you’re not satisfied, bite hard, bite until you’re relieved."
Renee Winslow didn’t hold back, opening her mouth, she bit down on his tense chest, teeth sinking into skin and flesh, until she drew blood, her mouth filled with a strong taste of iron before she let go.
Jack Yates still held her head, his voice hoarse and enticing: "Keep going, bite toward the heart."
Renee Winslow suddenly pulled away, with red eyes looking at him: "Jack Yates, can you just let go?"
His long, sharp phoenix eyes narrowed quickly, the man laughed deeply: "Let you go?" His distinctively jointed, slender hand pinched her chin, his thumb rubbing her lips forcefully, "Renee Winslow, do you even know what you’re saying, hmm?"
