Rustle, rustle, rustle!

The ground adorned with trees collapsed rapidly in heaves, and a multitude of Wood Thorns asuring tens of ters in length burst from the earth, densely scattered across the land.

The young deer awkwardly dodged the thorns, leaping and weaving through the increasingly narrow space, its pale face tinged with a hint of frustration.

In theory, upon activating the ability "Pain," it should have beco more powerful, but as a creature of the wood elent, it had been stripped of its control over the wood elent by the Wood Elental from the very beginning; now, it could only manipulate the ability "Pain," which was utterly ineffective against these lifeless Wood Thorns.

Unless...

Through the gaps between the thorns, the deer’s deep black eyes focused on the colossal beast standing tall amidst the forest.

Rustle!

Amidst the whirl of dirt, another Wood Thorn shot up from the ground, hurtling straight towards the little deer.

With a slight tremor of the epheral magnolia flower on its horn, the creature’s fair hooves stepped on the rugged surface of the thorn, using the impact to propel itself swiftly upwards.

Standing atop the beast’s head, the Wood Elental’s erald eyes twinkled, and a piercing laugh echoed around, "Hehehehe, let’s see where you can flee to."

As it spoke, it spread its arms, and countless vines erupted from its limbs, entwining and whistling through the air with sharp cries.

"Thousand Vine Lock Prison!"

Riiip—

Before the deer could escape from the Wood Thorn forest and dodge, its black dress was torn by the swiftly entangling vines, and as the barbed vines grazed its small legs, specks of green Elental Particles floated out from the wounds, and a look of pain filled the deer’s eyes.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!

An innurable number of vines continued to assault the deer, its fair feet lightly tapping, darting left and right to weave through the vines.

Riiip, riiip—

The vines occasionally left marks on its body, yet the deer seed oblivious, resolutely flying towards the direction of the beast. The blackness in its eyes deepened, and the fragnts of its frayed dress trailed behind, dissipating into dark energy shards.

As it entered within a hundred ters of the beast, black smoke flared from the deer’s eyes like flas, "Pain!"

An invisible surge burst forth from within it, and everything in its wake ca to a halt, including the beast frozen mid-roar, the Wood Elental rigidly standing still, and even the countless vines, suspended in mid-air.

Thump, thump, thump!

The heads of the nurous tree creatures on the body of the beast burst open, and the sky-filled vines, as if losing support, began to fall slowly.

"Aaahhh!!"

Clutching its head, the Wood Elental’s piercing scream filled the sky, "Such pain..."

But before the deer could take a breath of relief, a cold, mocking smile erged on the face made of squirming vines. The falling vines entwined and viciously struck the deer.

Caught off guard, the deer was flung backward as if struck hard, with multiple vines wrapping around its body, and the Wood Elental’s wild, triumphant laughter echoed incessantly by its ear.

"You fool, to think you actually believed ; I was deceiving you."

"Having gathered so many spirits of tree creatures, your ability is just like a wood elent to , completely ineffective."

An uncountable number of vines entwined around the deer. Through the crevices of the vines, its calm gaze caught sight of the Wood Elental opening its hands, condensing a huge bow woven from the vines.

Afterward, the last sliver of light was obscured by the vines.

Watching the increasingly large vine sphere before its eyes. The Wood Elental mimicked pulling a bowstring, and serpentine vines coiled up its arm, forming a massive spiral arrow. Its erald eyes shimred with excitent, "Die."

With a muffled twang of a bowstring, the massive spiral arrow tore through the void, shattering the tenacious Wood Thorns along its path, leaving behind a white trail made of wood shavings.

Clang!

At that mont, the crisp sound of a sword’s cry filled the air, and the world was instantly engulfed in a crimson glow.

The huge vine ball split in two, the spiral arrow was cleaved open by a streak of sword light, and the vast expanse of trees and sturdy Wood Thorns fell in patches, the raging flas turning the sky a dark red.

The split arrow continued unabated, burrowing through the neat cut of the vine ball and shooting past the figure in the center to penetrate deep into the earth behind, the shaft trembling violently.

Surprised, the Elental Being of Wood uttered a soft exclamation and looked towards the crumbling vine ball, only to see a young man quietly floating in mid-air, holding in his arms a deer covered in wounds, his gaze cold and sharp as it t their own.

The Elental Being of Wood pondered for a mont, then a strange brilliance flashed in their eyes, "Are you the human who killed the Elental Being of Ice?"

Flas engulfed the vines as they fell into the burning forest below, their sparks flickering feebly in mid-air. Ignoring the Elental Being of Wood, Shao Zifeng lowered his head to look at the deer in his arms, "Does it hurt?"

The deer gently shook its head, its black hair falling over Shao Zifeng’s arm, the dark color rapidly fading, as it affectionately closed its eyes and rested its small head against Shao Zifeng’s chest.

Anger surged in the heart of the ignored Elental Being of Wood, and it raised its huge bow once more, "A re human dares to be so presumptuous."

Boom!

The heavy twang of the bowstring sounded, and the vine-made spiral arrow arrived in an instant, parting a path through the blazing inferno on the ground.

Hair trembling lightly in front of Shao Zifeng’s forehead, he lifted his head with a blank expression, his pupils flashing with a purplish-red glow.

"Annihilation!"

"Roar!"

A majestic roar sounded, and the flas entangling the spiral arrow turned purple-red before disintegrating into ashes in the disbelieving gaze of the Elental Being of Wood, and the flecks of purple-red embers fell from the sky into the sea of fire, the crimson flas turning purple-red as if dyed with ink before one’s very eyes.

The purple-red flas spread quickly outwards, and as they passed, the trees were annihilated, turning into a sky full of ash floating between heaven and earth.

"Roar!"

The majestic beast beneath the Elental Being of Wood suddenly cried out in pain, pulling out its claws from the ground and severing the roots connecting the whole forest.

Boom!

The tumultuous flas gathered together, and a huge purple dragon walked out slowly from the flas, with tattered dragon wings unfolding and purplish-red flas flowing down like raindrops.

"Another strange ability..."

The Elental Being of Wood looked at Qiuqiu behind Shao Zifeng, its gaze shifting constantly, the aura pervading the air was highly distasteful to it.

But after all, it was an Elental Being of Wood and not to be intimidated by these lower creatures. Coldly addressing Shao Zifeng, it said, "So this is what you rely on to scorn the Elental Beings, truly ignorant..."

Shao Zifeng’s hair fluttered in the flas, and he stretched out his right hand to interrupt the Elental Being of Wood, purple-red sparks dancing at his fingertips.

"Calamity!"

Rumble!

No sooner had the words left his mouth than the dark clouds in the sky began to rotate violently, countless lightning bolts weaving through the swirling vortex, occasionally striking down into the sea of fire with fierce explosions, turning the once verdant forest into an instant hell.

The Elental Being of Wood narrowed its eyes, and before it could make out the master of this power, the calm voice of Shao Zifeng once again carried through the wind.

"Decay!"
