The spatial gate at the mountain’s summit twisted and collapsed into a ball before finally bursting open, sending rings of blue energy waves rapidly spreading out from the mountain top, scattering a crystalline brilliance.

The blood-soaked warriors watched this magnificent scene in stunned silence, then burst into waves of cheers.

A warrior wiped the blood from his face, turned his head back, and roared, "Brothers, charge!"

"Charge!"

Helicopters circled overhead, broadcasting the scene below to the entire country in real-ti.

On the chaotic mountain summit, as the fierce wind howled, Shao Zifeng swept a glance over the battlefield beneath him and looked toward Li Yiming, not far away.

After a few years of not seeing each other, Li Yiming had grown taller. His slender body didn’t show the slightest hint of frailty; instead, it radiated strength. The original black-fra glasses had been swapped for a pair of delicate rimless spectacles.

The handso face always carried a faint smile, complented by a well-fitted suit and neat hair, like a young master on a leisure outing, without a trace of his forr timidity.

"What’s up?" Li Yiming spread his arms with a chuckle, "Don’t recognize anymore?"

Shao Zifeng laughed heartily, stepped forward, thumped Li Yiming in the chest, and then briefly embraced him, "Where have you been all these years, kid? Even old Hu couldn’t get in touch with you."

The smile on Li Yiming’s face stiffened slightly, and he awkwardly rubbed his nose with his hand.

Shao Zifeng looked at him intently, "Trouble?"

Li Yiming fell silent, then, as if making up his mind, said, "Big brother Shao, do you know about my past?"

Shao Zifeng nodded calmly, "I’ve heard bits and pieces."

Not long before, Hu Shiwu had vaguely ntioned to him that he saw soone calling Li Yiming the Eighth Young Master. Chen Yixin had also talked to him about it.

The mountain wind fluttered their clothes as Li Yiming slowly said, "I don’t know how much you know about my past, Big Brother Shao. My family is said to be a household that moved out of Daxia a century ago. Behind many things that happened in Daxia over the years, there have been shadows of my family."

He looked sowhat troubled, "I’m not too clear about what happened with the previous generation, but for so reason... or maybe for so kind of protection, Yiren and I were thrown back to our ancestral ho, that is, Su City."

"Three years ago, after that chaos in the capital, suddenly two people found , called the Eighth Young Master, and said sothing about my grandfather wanting them to fully train as the heir, to take over the Li Family of Goryeo... my family."

Shao Zifeng watched Li Yiming’s downcast expression and listened to his story seriously.

"Actually, I don’t want to be the heir at all, especially after knowing that my family is doing a lot of evil things, and they even targeted you once..." Li Yiming looked expectantly at Shao Zifeng, "Brother Shao, you won’t cut ties with because of my family, right?"

Shao Zifeng looked at him earnestly, smiled, and shook his head, "You are you, your family is your family. But speaking of which, I still have a score to settle with your family."

Upon hearing this, Li Yiming’s expression stiffened for a mont, then he breathed a sigh of relief.

...

In the following period, Shao Zifeng relaxed quite a bit. After he destroyed several large spatial gates, Daxia finally had the spare strength to launch a counterattack.

What relieved him even more was that with the all-out counterattack underway, the caras finally stopped focusing solely on him.

Many combat training masters perford exceptionally well in the multitasking combat, and Shao Zifeng just needed to find ti to destroy the spatial gates after the battles were over.

As for the series of work after the battle, he left it to the officials to worry about; he had other things to do.

On an afternoon a few days later, a private plane landed in Bin City. With the assistance of ground personnel, a group of people slowly disembarked from the plane.

At the forefront was a young man with delicate features and a slender figure. A graceful young woman accompanied him, and several bodyguards in black suits were scattered around, watching the passing pedestrians vigilantly.

Passing won revealed looks of amazent, each one guessing which family’s young master he might be.

Exiting the airport, three high-end customized private cars had been waiting for a while, and the young man smiled, nodding to the bodyguard who opened the door, before sitting in the first car.

The rest of the bodyguards followed the slowly starting cars for a while, then quickly climbed into the cars behind them.

As the streets outside the car windows quickly retreated, Li Yiming said indifferently, "Put down the partition."

Qi Donglai looked back at him, "Yes, Eighth Young Master."

As the partition lowered, the driver’s cabin and the back were completely separated, Li Yiming smiled and said teasingly to the bodyguard who had opened the door for him earlier, "Brother Shao, you are quite adept at this."

"I didn’t want to give anything away," said Shao Zifeng, dressed in a black suit, as he took off his sunglasses and earpiece, relaxing completely. He stretched out his hand to open the liquor cabinet between the seats, looked at the unfamiliar foreign liquors and clicked his tongue in wonder, "As expected of a son from a major family, these spirits must be expensive."

Li Yiming glanced at the liquor cabinet and then at Shao Zifeng as if recalling sothing amusing, "They’re expensive, but that doesn’t an I can let you drink them. I don’t want you to wreck my car... hahaha."

Shao Zifeng’s face darkened, and he glared at him fiercely, "You’re one to talk. Who was it that was always so fussy before, huh?"

Li Yiming’s face reddened slightly upon hearing this, racking his brain for so dirt on Shao Zifeng. Any sense of unfamiliarity between them vanished in the laughter.

"Brother Shao, this ti coming back with ..."

"Don’t talk."

Shao Zifeng squinted his eyes and suddenly grabbed Li Yiming’s shoulder, his other hand erupting in fierce flas, and slamd it hard on the car door.

Bang!

A blast of flas erupted from beneath the moving car’s chassis, lifting the vehicle into the air. The cars following behind braked urgently, with screeching friction sounds on the ground. Passersby on the street side gasped.

The flas in mid-air tumbled into the green belt, with flas still burning on the charred chassis, emitting billows of black smoke, as several bodyguards rushed forward rapidly.

Li Yiren pushed the car door open with a pale face, but was staunchly blocked by the remaining bodyguards.

"Get out of my way!!"

"Scram!"

As onlookers gathered, an older man whispered, "Ninth Miss, please don’t act rashly; our people are handling it. This place... is Daxia."

Watching the bloody-faced driver being dragged out, Li Yiren pursed her lips tightly.

When Qi Donglai was dragged out, the bodyguards looked sowhat at a loss upon seeing the empty back seat, turning their blank stares toward Li Yiren.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!

Several dark silhouettes leaped back and forth between the high-rise buildings, landing steadily in front of the crashed car. Their tattered cloaks fluttered, revealing the compound eyes characteristic of insectoids.

The middle-aged man whispered, "It’s the Bin City City Guard, the Chinese Fast Blade Mantis."

The Chinese Fast Blade Mantises didn’t linger for long. They exchanged glances before their bodies vanished from the spot, leaving behind a crowd of murmuring citizens.

Upon learning that Li Yiming and Shao Zifeng were no longer in the car, Li Yiren revealed a thoughtful expression, and her nervousness subsided considerably.

She glanced at the increasingly large crowd, then told the middle-aged man, "First, send Grandpa Qi to the hospital. Leave the Abnormal Administration Bureau matter to you."

After speaking, she turned, got into a car and left. Several bodyguards tried to follow, but the older man stopped them.
