The Elental Seed flew onto Mrs. Shao’s face, hugged her cheek with its tiny hands, and kissed her.
“Good, good child,” Mrs. Shao said, her face brimming with a smile, imitating Shao Zifeng as she poked the Elental Seed’s little belly.
Laughing heartily, the Elental Seed didn’t mind at all, and lightly settled on Mrs. Shao’s shoulder, holding her ear with its little hand, its two short legs swinging joyfully.
“Yo!”
Seeing this, the deer raised its head and called out to Mrs. Shao as a greeting.
