Chapter 923: Chapter 923: The Opportunity to Slay Ye Fan Has Arrived
Ye Fan was completely unaware of what was happening outside. At this mont, he was sitting cross-legged on the bed, sweating profusely with a pale face. He was enduring unbearable pain as he stimulated his acupoints, trying to awaken hidden mories.
In the small town, most people were asleep, with only a few houses still lit.
Yan Sinna’s family had also long retired for the night, while Ye Fan, temporarily staying on the third floor of a small building, was diligently searching for his mories.
Ye Fan didn’t dwell on Yan Sinna’s affairs. No matter how Anna used Yan Sinna, he only needed to be cautious in the future.
Ye Fan was trying hard to recall, grasping every fleeting image in his mind, as he was at a critical juncture in unearthing his mories.
At Anna’s place, Ed said in frustration, "Sothing’s not right. Ye Fan didn’t drink the water that Yan Sinna gave him. Was there an issue with Yan Sinna not adding the potion to the water? Or was Ye Fan too cunning to fall for it?"
"No matter where the problem lies, the fact is Ye Fan didn’t faint. We can’t wait any longer; we must take action." Jason shot a probing glance at Anna.
"I believe Yan Sinna wouldn’t step back, the only explanation is that Ye Fan saw through it or Chu ngyao and the others noticed our intentions and preemptively warned Ye Fan." Anna laughed confidently, not at all concerned that Yan Sinna failed, instead she said oddly, "I’m not surprised Ye Fan didn’t fall into my trap because he’s Ye Fan. You don’t know his identity, but I do, and I understand his terrifying nature. Even if he lost his mories, his skills wouldn’t disappear. Instinctively, he would take all sorts of counterasures. Besides, his ability to sense danger is unparalleled by others."
"Failed in your own sche and still smug, who are you putting on a show for? I bet you’re extrely disappointed inside." Ed scoffed, "Isn’t he just a Human Body Limit expert? Even if I fight him one-on-one, I’m not afraid. Why all the needless probing? Just knock him out and take him away."
"Ignorance!" Anna glared coldly at Ed and said, "You’re just an ignorant brute, do you know? Within the organization, only a few are qualified to know Ye Fan’s real identity. Don’t judge my right or wrong with your foolish mind. The only thing you can and must do is unconditionally obey the organization’s arrangent and follow my orders. There’s no need for so much nonsense."
Anna was full of frustration towards Ed who wouldn’t follow commands.
"Who is ignorant is still unclear. Didn’t your plan fall through? And you won’t even let
speak." Ed sneered.
"Fine, since you’re so bold, why not go test Ye Fan’s strength?" Anna provoked.
"I’ll go, who’s afraid?" Ed set off imdiately, walking arrogantly, "Just wait, within three minutes, I’ll drag Ye Fan back like a dead pig."
"Boastful." Anna could hardly suppress her anger.
Jason got anxious, and said urgently, "Miss Anna, you know Ed has a bad temper. Don’t stoop to his level, it’s better if we work together to complete the task. Is it really wise for Ed to act rashly?"
"Go back him up. If you can intervene at a critical mont, try to do so. I’m angry, but not petty enough to sit back and watch." Anna calmly instructed.
"Is Ye Fan that strong? Even Ed’s life might be in danger?" Jason was stunned.
"Ye Fan didn’t drink the potion, which forces
to reassess him. After testing his strength, maybe I’ll report first-hand information to the organization, and our attitude towards Ye Fan might change. If there is no chance, we’ll comply with the previous plan." Anna was grudging.
"Does Ye Fan have three heads and six arms to warrant the organization’s effort?" Jason was utterly puzzled.
Anna gave no explanation, waved her hand, and said, "Go support Ed. You’ll learn about Ye Fan later, now is not the ti. Don’t be curious or snoop around. I don’t need to say more about curiosity killing the cat."
Jason tensed up, dared no longer to be curious, and left imdiately.
After Ed, furious, left and reached Ye Fan’s residence, he climbed the power pole, leaped onto the rooftop, and caught the small room where Ye Fan was staying in his sights.
"What on earth is one little bastard worth all this trouble? I can’t figure it out. Once I subdue him, I’ll see what else Anna, that little chick, has to say." Ed grinned ferociously, twisted his neck, and walked towards Ye Fan with murderous intent.
At this ti, Ye Fan was imrsed in rolling mories. He had rembered many things, and just as he was about to fully recall his crucial monts, his eyelid suddenly twitched, and his half-closed eyes opened.
"There’s killing intent!" Ye Fan muttered, then got out of bed, slipped on his slippers, opened the door, and walked towards Ed, who was coming with killing intent on the rooftop.
"Courting death!" Ye Fan’s expression turned icy. He was furious now; Ed’s interruption filled him with genuine displeasure.
"Impressive alertness, to notice
and co out early to et your death. That’s good, saves
the trouble of kicking down the door to deal with you, saves
a bit of ti." Ed strode forward, showing no hesitation, not wanting to waste words with Ye Fan, as if, in his eyes, Ye Fan wasn’t worth the words.
He clenched his fists, the crisp sound of bones rubbing was heard.
His figure, as swift as thunder, enveloped Ye Fan.
"I can kill you with one punch. I don’t know what that b-=ch Anna is thinking, being so afraid of you." Ed’s figure had already leaped, diving down, his destructive punch shattered space, rampaging with wild force.
A sonic boom echoed in the air.
The air rippled like water.
"Overconfident!" Ye Fan smirked slightly, then, likewise, launched a fierce punch.
Carrying ferocious power, it t Ed head-on.
At the mont when Ed decided to strike Ye Fan, in the darkness, two exclamations of delight from different directions spread through the night, saying: "The opportunity to eliminate Ye Fan has co."
The voice was naturally from Anita and Beate.
The other voice ca from the mouth of Poisonous Snake.
With Ed’s move, it sparked the observers.
Directly igniting the battle.
