Chapter 1218: Chapter 1218: Entering the Enemy Camp Alone

Ye Fan, Fire Phoenix, and the others hadn’t yet launched their attack on Sky Net when soone from Sky Net arrived first.

A captain from the First Hunting Team ca alone.

Under the watch of several Shadow Guard mbers, the captain of the First Hunting Team t with Ye Fan and the others.

"You must be Ye Fan, the Terminator. I’ve long admired your na, and it’s truly an honor to et you today," the captain respectfully addressed Ye Fan, then cast a similarly reverent glance at Fire Phoenix and the Butcher.

As a formidable force, he had a deep respect for Ye Fan, Fire Phoenix, and the Butcher.

The captain of the Hunting Team, unlike the unruly Ghost Squad, was not born from criminal roots.

The captain and other mbers of the Hunting Team were upright individuals, loyal to their respective leaders, including Sky Net.

During its rise, Sky Net had absorbed many scoundrels, but the mbers of the Hunting Team were comndable.

"What brings you here?" Ye Fan curiously asked.

"To convey the ssage of the Elders," the captain declared loudly. Before he could finish, Fire Phoenix interrupted forcefully, "In that case, there’s no need to continue. You may leave. We’re in a standoff, and as the saying goes, we don’t execute ssengers. Tell the Elders to prepare for our onslaught."

"I admit we’re not your match. Falling honorably in your hands is a form of glory," the captain said cheerfully. "Compared to those lost in the laser zone of the Hunting Team, we have nothing to worry about. Our camps differ, naturally we’ll fight for our goals."

"You have an open heart, yet we don’t have the ti to waste on your rambling," the Butcher said impatiently.

"I’ll be brief since you have no interest in listening further," the captain continued straightforwardly. "I’ve been tasked by the Elders to deliver a ssage."

"What ssage?" Fire Phoenix laughed. "I’m curious what tricks Sky Net can still play."

"The Elders wish to invite the Terminator for a discussion. A lady nad Song ii is waiting inside to receive him," the captain revealed.

"Song ii? What nonsense?" the Butcher was puzzled.

"Do you know her?" Fire Phoenix asked Ye Fan.

Ye Fan frowned, then chuckled, "Sky Net is truly ruthless, capturing unrelated people just to coerce ? Quite the grand gesture."

Observing the situation, Fire Phoenix and the Butcher understood that Sky Net believed they had found a leverage against Ye Fan to coerce him.

"If you don’t believe it, this phone can reach Miss Song ii. If you want more information, you can ask yourself," the captain said, handing over a phone.

"You may leave now. I’ll go in later to et the Elders and see what tricks they have," Ye Fan said calmly.

The captain looked at Ye Fan with admiration before backing away.

He was naturally in awe, as Ye Fan didn’t need confirmation to know the captain wasn’t lying and yet chose to et with the Elders unflinchingly. Everyone knew it was a death trap, yet Ye Fan proceeded fearlessly, earning respect for his actions.

"Is this what they an by being fearless because of skill?" the captain mused complexly.

"No way, you can’t go. It’s clearly a trap. Going in alone is too risky, and if sothing happens inside, then what?" Fire Phoenix firmly objected. Given the current situation, everyone knew how dangerous it was to enter Sky Net Headquarters alone.

"Without clarity, and without knowing Sky Net Headquarters’ true strength, acting rashly could lead to certain death," the Butcher said confidently. "Forget about whoever Song ii is. Just ignore it. Sky Net won’t dare act recklessly. Even if Sky Net harms Song ii, we can avenge her. But you must not risk yourself by entering unfamiliar territory."

Fire Phoenix and the Butcher’s concerns highlighted the dangers of entering Sky Net Headquarters solo.

"But I’ve already agreed, and I can’t go back on my word," Ye Fan said indifferently.

"You go, and I’ll follow. This doesn’t count as breaking one’s word," the Butcher said casually. "Why argue about integrity with Sky Net? It’s futile."

"Think it over. No matter how important the matter, we’re here in full force; Sky Net knows it can’t escape annihilation and will resist desperately at this point," Leng i advised. "At this point, we shouldn’t give Sky Net any opportunity."

"I suggest a forceful assault. Sky Net can forget about threats; they don’t have the courage," Dais said dismissively.

"Everyone, stay calm. Let

go in first to scout. If sothing’s wrong, you can attack without delay," Ye Fan said. "Just watch my moves, and we should be fine, right?"

"That sounds like a compromise," Hua Yue remarked.

"I’m curious who this Miss Song ii is. Could she be another admirer of yours? I must say, your romantic luck seems a bit excessive," the Butcher criticized.

"Not really a close friend, just an acquaintance. In the past, I did missions in Huaxia, and one involved the Song Family. I have so guilt toward them, and this is a chance to make ands," Ye Fan explained.

"I see, perhaps I overthought it," the Butcher muttered and then said loudly, "Go boldly. If anything happens, I’ve got your back. If there’s any plot, hold on, and I’ll rush in if needed."

"You’ve got it? What exactly can you cover?" Fire Phoenix scolded. "It’s not you walking into the trap. Aren’t you afraid your big words will hurt your tongue?"

"What’s the alternative? Can you dissuade him?" the Butcher retorted with an eye roll.

"I, I can’t," Fire Phoenix admitted, losing her montum, and then advised, "Be careful."

Ye Fan turned and walked toward Sky Net Headquarters.

The Butcher and Fire Phoenix watched this scene and began making arrangents.

"Get everyone ready. At my signal, if there’s any change, attack with full force," the Butcher commanded.

Fire Phoenix emphasized, "Leng i, Hua Yue, Dais, Bell, you each lead a group. At the signal, break through Sky Net’s defenses and reach Ye Fan no matter what."

"Understood!" Leng i and the others responded and took action.
