"Calling
a married man is a bit exaggerated, but what exactly do you an by that?" Ye Fan asked sincerely.
"As a man, you should take responsibility. Look at you; you couldn’t even protect your fiancée’s best friend. That’s quite irresponsible. If she hadn’t been rescued at the critical mont, our planned actions would have been stalled, and Fire Phoenix’s base abandoned, which would an a significant loss for us." Butcher lanted, slipping into a lecturing mode.
"Didn’t delay anything, did we?" Ye Fan replied calmly. "Your concern is understandable but a bit unnecessary. Besides, who could’ve foreseen Sky Net’s underhanded thods? Even if I had unbeatable abilities, I couldn’t have rescued Lu Xiangxiang and Liu Shangxiang at that ti."
"Are you admitting that you’re powerless, that without us, you often feel helpless in difficult situations?" Butcher eyed Ye Fan with interest.
"Are you trying to demonstrate that without you guys, I could only survive, unable to handle extre crises?" Ye Fan replied calmly.
"Exactly, that’s it. I admire your cleverness; you understood imdiately." Butcher chuckled with a mischievous grin.
"You’re right. If we were still fighting side by side, the hostage situation with Lu Xiangxiang wouldn’t have happened." Ye Fan had to admit, if he was with Fire Phoenix, Butcher, and the Shadow Guard, countless operational practices had proven anyone daring to threaten them would face fatal consequences.
"I’m discovering another of your rare qualities; before, you wouldn’t admit your mistakes. Of course, back then, you seldom made any. There were hardly any opportunities to make mistakes." Butcher reminisced with emotion and then seriously asked, "Truly, don’t want to return to the stage of the Underworld and create our own legend and myth again?"

"Hearing that brings
so comfort; calling you boss wasn’t in vain." Butcher grinned, then said, "It’s good that your fiancée’s friend is alright; let’s focus on the imdiate matters now."
With those words, it seed like the real reunion, as Butcher wrapped his arms around Ye Fan.
Ye Fan stood still, letting Butcher embrace him firmly.

Glaring at Ye Fan, he said, "Emotional outburst? You’re describing
with a term used for won?"
"Aren’t I describing you?" Ye Fan replied earnestly. "A man hugging
tightly; isn’t it natural for people to overthink?"
"The suspicion of a deep bromance is strong." Fire Phoenix interjected with a laugh, witnessing Ye Fan and Butcher’s reunion silently, allowing Butcher to vent his emotions.
"Deep bromance? No way, I’m a real man, not a bromance buddy." Butcher looked disgustedly at Ye Fan, voluntarily keeping so distance.
"Well, it’s like Pigsy looking in the mirror, not a human reflection, but I’ll endure. After all, I was wrong first." Ye Fan laughed, accepting all of Butcher’s emotional outpouring; after all, he was the big brother and must have the generosity required.
