“Roar!”

In front of the snack cart, a zombie spotted ng Xu and eagerly sprinted towards him. ng Xu could even see the saliva dripping from the zombie’s mouth and the bits of flesh hanging from its teeth.

Of course, it was impossible to ignore the half-torn cheek, with a chunk of bloody flesh dangling from its mouth, making anyone queasy.

So ugly.

ng Xu sighed inwardly and then took a deep breath, trying to maintain a service-with-a-smile attitude.

“Hello, sir, are you here for chicken cutlets? How many would you like?”

“Roar!”

The zombie ignored ng Xu entirely, roaring directly at him.

Seeing this, ng Xu yawned and tugged on the rope. The disfigured zombie, Li Xiang, was pulled in front of him, blocking the path of the charging zombie.

The collision instantly enraged zombie Li Xiang!

“Roar!”

Li Xiang roared, extended his powerful arm, grabbed the charging zombie’s arm, and ripped it off instantly. With another forceful pull, the other arm ca off as well.

Violent, too violent!

ng Xu marveled.

Since transforming into a zombie, Li Xiang’s strength has multiplied many tis over.

Honestly, ng Xu couldn’t tear off soone’s arm just by pulling.

Luckily, Li Xiang’s affection had dropped to -100 before he died; otherwise, ng Xu would be the one troubled by Li Xiang’s power.

As ng Xu pondered half-heartedly, he tugged on the rope, pulling Li Xiang back.

“Alright, alright, that’s enough.”

Zombie Li Xiang still seed a bit unsatisfied but, constrained by ng Xu, could only roar impotently twice and continue ‘standing guard’ nearby, his eyes a bloodshot red.

ng Xu stepped forward, looked at the zombie whose arms had been torn off, chuckled, and casually fetched a small stool from the snack cart. He placed it in front of the zombie’s head and reached into its pockets.

After rummaging around, ng Xu’s expression changed instantly: “Why are you here if you don’t have any money?!”

With that, ng Xu raised the wrench in his hand and smashed it down twice, breaking the zombie’s skull before snorting coldly: “I thought I had so business!”

After saying this, ng Xu continued to push the snack cart, dragging Li Xiang along, and heading towards the residential area where he used to rent.

The reason he didn’t go to the Citizen Service Center was quite simple.

The main roads were blocked by overturned cars, making it extrely inconvenient to move with Li Xiang and the snack cart, and difficult to sell the fried chicken cutlets.

Thus, ng Xu decided to take a gradual approach, selling the 300 fried chicken cutlets within the residential area before heading to the Citizen Service Center.

After all, the old residential area was relatively safe and unlikely to be overrun by a dozen or so zombies at once… though it didn’t seem to be much of a concern for ng Xu at this point, better to be cautious since he hadn’t experienced it before.

Moreover, there were definitely 300 people within the residential area.

Even if there weren’t, it wouldn’t be a problem.

There were other buildings around the neighborhood, right?

In the East, there’s certainly no shortage of people.

Thinking of this, ng Xu suddenly recalled another Eastern country, the legendary India.

Oh my, he couldn’t imagine what the situation was like over there.

ng Xu took a sharp breath.

But now, that didn’t concern him much.

Following the route he ca from, ng Xu moved along smoothly. He had already cleared the path earlier, but there were still so wandering zombies. ng Xu didn’t hesitate, directly approaching and forcibly completing transactions of fried chicken cutlets with them to earn money.

“Roar!”

From behind a green trash bin, a young zombie lunged out, baring its teeth and claws, its gray-white eyes revealing a lifeless expression.

Upon seeing this, ng Xu didn’t feel an ounce of fear, already accustod to it. He even smiled at the young zombie and said, “Hello, Peace and Order Chicken Cutlets, ten yuan per serving, thank you!”

While swinging the baseball bat, ng Xu maintained a smile, controlled his strength, and after knocking down the zombie, imdiately turned his attention to its pockets. Finding a twenty-yuan note, he grinned widely and pulled out two fried chicken cutlets, forcefully stuffing them into the zombie’s mouth.

“Sir, your chicken cutlets are ready. Eat up, eat up!”

Until the fried chicken cutlets turned into mush, filling the zombie’s mouth completely.

At this mont, a golden text appeared before ng Xu’s eyes.

【Sale successful. Current progress: 17/300】

ng Xu sighed deeply.

Nowadays, why don’t people carry money with them when they go out? Even zombies are the sa. It’s truly disheartening.

Pushing the snack cart, ng Xu yawned when he suddenly noticed a reflection from a nearby ‘Rotating Hotpot’ shop.

“Huh?”

ng Xu paused and looked closely, spotting a few sneaky figures hiding inside.

“There are people!”

ng Xu was instantly overjoyed.

Great, great, great!

Without hesitation, he pushed the snack cart and headed towards the shop.

“Roar!”

A zombie by the roadside spotted ng Xu and excitedly rushed over. Without any hesitation, ng Xu lifted his baseball bat and smashed its head, scattering its brain matter all over the ground.

Without the slightest pause, he hurried straight towards the ‘Rotating Hotpot’ shop!

Zombies?

A bunch of poor ghosts!

Modern people who can scan a QR code are much better!

ng Xu was extrely happy, pushing the snack cart while shouting, “Fried chicken cutlets! Big and crispy fried chicken cutlets, delicious and high in calories, essential for apocalypse survival!”

He couldn’t wait to sell out all his products.

Sigh.

If not for the need to make a living and earn money, who would want to co out and sell fried chicken cutlets in a zombie apocalypse?

“Look, isn’t that the lunatic from this morning? Strange, why did he co back with a snack cart after going out?”

Inside the hotpot shop, a man in his forties pushed his glasses up, crouched under a table, and observed ng Xu’s figure with surprise. He imdiately patted a twenty-sothing-year-old female server beside him and asked.

Hearing the man’s words, the female server turned her head, looked toward the scene outside the door, and saw ng Xu pushing the snack cart toward them. She was instantly stunned.

“It’s him. How did he… bring a snack cart?”

Suddenly, the man seed to notice sothing, his face gradually becoming terrified. He exclaid, “Zhao Jing, sothing’s not right!”

The man’s words startled ‘Zhao Jing’. She imdiately covered his mouth, whispering, “Keep your voice down! If we attract those zombies, we’ll all be dead!”

“No, no, no, that’s not it!”

The man’s eyes were filled with terror, and he was almost incoherent: “Look behind his snack cart, there’s a zombie tied to it!”

“What?”

Hearing this, Zhao Jing was stunned.

She took a closer look and instantly felt her hands and feet go cold.

It really was a zombie!

Why doesn’t the zombie bite him?

Zhao Jing’s mind went blank.

“He’s coming towards us!”

The man was panicking, grabbing a kitchen knife nearby, trembling in fear: “What do we do? What do we do?!”

“Quick, call everyone. If…”

Before the man could finish his sentence, he saw a zombie rush at ng Xu, only to have its head smashed by ng Xu’s bat, instantly splattering blood everywhere.

Seeing this, the man was instantly speechless.

Soon after, a wave of despair washed over him: “Is he planning to feed us all to his pet zombie?”

The desperate man could only imagine his future fate, helplessly watching as ng Xu approached them step by step.

Finally, he saw ng Xu reach the front of the hotpot shop, extend his hand, and politely knock on the glass.

If you ignored his white tracksuit, now stained red, and the bloodstains on his face that he hadn’t wiped off, ng Xu looked just like a normal custor here to eat.

“Hello, as you can see, I’m a Snack vendor. Would you like so fried chicken cutlets? Ten yuan per serving, limited to five per person~”
