Within minutes, Natasha had arrived at Jasmine's building, the people working there recognized her imdiately and didn't stop her from entering since they had been inford that she is the mother-in-law of Jasmine, so they even helped her to get to the top floors.
"What's taking them so long?" Natasha mumbled to herself as she walked around and waited for them, despite knowing they are married she didn't like their closeness and intimacy and hoped that they could separate as soon as possible.
"It's all because of that useless Xero, it's been so long I wonder where he is right now." Natasha thought but threw him out of her mind instantly as she waited for Lucian with a frown on her beautiful face.
A slender milky arm was wrapped around Lucian's waist as he and Jasmine floated amongst the clouds and headed towards their house, she was holding him close and tightly on her side.
Lucian felt his body pressed against her soft and warm body, as her sweet scent constantly attacked his scent as his breathing quickened slightly. After being away from her for so ti Lucian had almost forgotten about the type of aura she possesses and the pressure she puts on him, despite already being with so many won he still felt a strange kind of nervousness around her.
"…" he looked around but could only see clouds, to distract himself from his current thoughts he decided to talk to her but needed quite so ti to think of a topic, despite his fast thinking finally taking a deep breath filled her sweet scent he spoke:
"I haven't heard anything about your parents, where are they?"
Jasmine who was busy with her own thoughts planning sothing that she urgently needed to do suddenly halted as she heard this unexpected question from him, she glanced at him subtly; her emotionless face giving an icy feeling but then she continued to fly.
'Sigh and that is the only topic I could think of, did I beco stupid whenever I am around her?' Lucian wondered, but he couldn't think of a reason behind it.
He loved Natasha too quite a lot and they have gotten quite close recently but Jasmine is different, no other woman made him feel like that though he wasn't sure if it could be called love or maybe it was just fear and trauma.
'I heard her story, how her parents are responsible for her current emotionless state, she wasn't a daughter to them but just a source of entertainnt, money, power and fa, I don't even know how badly they must have treated her.'
He thought feeling a little pity for her but feeling her strong presence his pity disappeared instantly, she is probably the strongest on both Earth and has almost everything one could desire.
While Lucian was busy with his own back and forth thoughts, Jasmine unexpectedly began to speak, her voice low and contained absolutely no emotion.
"They are alive and are living well, the last ti I heard about them they were busy using my na to get more money a high position in the governnt. It's been years since I last saw them, it would be better if you don't et them."
"I see, well I don't really have any interest in eting them but why are we going so slow?" Lucian asked, trying to change the topic and deciding to find more about her parents later.
"I have been moving very slowly from the start; careful not to scare you away or hurt you, so that you don't think what others believe that I am an emotionless monster or that I will throw you away later but can I go fast now?" Jasmine spoke, her eyes narrowed slightly and her grip tightening as she pressed him tighter into her soft body.
"Uh… sure, I am fine with that." Lucian answered, but even with the limited brain cells that he maintains to use in her presence told him that her words had so other aning, she wasn't just talking about their flight.
'What is she talking about? Emotionless monster? Throwing away? Are we really talking about the sa thing? Sigh, I hope she is not planning anything life-threatening for now.' Lucian prayed in his mind.
"Alright, since you have agreed I won't hold back any longer, get ready." As she spoke, Lucian could catch hints of excitent and joy in her voice but before he could ask any question, Jasmine suddenly increased her speed as the two of them shot forward flying several tis faster.
"Ah They are finally here, what took them so long? Wait, Jasmine… she seems a little different sohow, I can't put my finger on it but sothing has definitely changed about her." Natasha stared at the two of them as they floated down towards the building entrance.
Lucian and Jasmine landed, then together they walked towards the elevator attracting quite a lot of attention, soon they were heading to the top floors where Natasha and Scarlett waited for them.
"…" Lucian stood silently in the elevator, thinking about the approaching danger and asure he can take against it.
"I have sothing very important to talk to you, it is related to you and your role; it needs to be dealt with as soon as possible or things will get very problematic, so you have to talk to in private later." Jasmine suddenly spoke after speaking she didn't wait for him and as soon as the door of the elevator opened she walked out.
"Wait, what do you an by role and…" Lucian tried to ask but she didn't stop, he frowned and began to ponder her words as all kinds of possibilities ca to his mind.
'Did she know any of my secrets? What did she an by that, looks like I will have to talk to her I can't tell anything based on her tone and expression.' Lucian was in a situation like when one is called by their parents for a serious talk and then they start to recall every single thing they might have done wrong.
Then he too walked out, Jasmine, Scarlett and Natasha all were inside the guest room so Lucian went to the guest room directly.
Natasha sat on the sofa right in front of Jasmine, while Scarlett stood beside her boss with a nervous expression but seeing Lucian enter she seed to have relaxed a little as she passed a sneaky but rare smile.
"Now, any of you have so bright idea to deal with that thing or is waiting our only option?" Natasha spoke as Lucian sat on the single sofa to her right.
"We can only wait, it is pointless to discuss about that instead let's just prepare however we can before that thing erupts and rain down monsters or sothing. Especially you, you have not killed any of those creatures in almost two decades, right? You must have gotten rusty." Jasmine spoke, her voice full of jealousy.
"Just try and I will make you rember why everyone on this planet feared and called Empress, I was once your leader did you forget?" Natasha retorted with a haughty smile, knowing Lucian was the centre and reason for their intense fight.
'Looks like I have got an even bigger problem right here sigh.'
