At a private hospital on the outskirts, Landon Sutton sat on a lounge chair on the balcony, looking at the overcast sky outside.

The phone on the table was on speaker with a call from Ronan Rhodes: "Master Nate, Miss Quinn hasn’t left the house in several days, and there was a man who went to her place this afternoon looking for her."

"What man?"

"Seems like her studio’s boss."

Landon Sutton was silent for a while and said, "Ignore it."

He believed she wouldn’t betray him.

"Oh, right, Miss Quinn also asked about you in the evening."

"What did she ask?"

"She said she thought you weren’t ho and ca to see the cat."

Landon Sutton gently touched the ring on his ring finger and took a deep breath.

The other end of the line was quiet for a mont before Ronan asked again, "Master Nate, what on earth are you up to? I always feel like you and my brother are hiding sothing from ."

"Just do what I asked you to do and don’t ddle."

"Oh... so will you co to the exhibition this weekend?"

Landon Sutton thought for a mont and said, "I will."

This might be his last chance to see Shannon Quinn before he returns to Dragonspire.

Shannon Quinn was actually also keeping the exhibition in mind.

Previously, the design matters were personally negotiated by Landon Sutton with her, so it seed he valued this exhibition quite a lot, and she wondered if he would show up.

On that day, Erin Bishop happened to return from abroad as well.

When Shannon Quinn went to pick her up at the airport, she was still thinking about how to comfort Erin Bishop, not knowing that she was completely carefree after her trip.

Carrying large and small shopping bags, she excitedly talked on the way back about what she bought abroad and said she bought a lot for her and her unborn child too.

Then they talked about the business fashion exhibition; Erin Bishop had discussed this matter with Ronan and spent money to get a sponsorship, which also served as an advertisent for her company.

In the evening, the two went to the exhibition together.

The exhibition venue was not far from the Sutton Group, hosted by the Suttons, and its luxury was beyond doubt.

The exhibited works were from internationally renowned designers, and those who ca were either fashion moguls or prominent figures from the business world.

"Isn’t that Miss Quinn?"

As soon as she walked into the exhibition hall, soone greeted Shannon Quinn.

Shannon Quinn wasn’t familiar with who the person was; perhaps it was a custor they’d worked with or soone she’d seen at other shows, so she politely returned a smile.

"Miss Quinn, I particularly love your work. I’ve collected all your magazines. It’s truly an honor to et you in person here."

So she exchanged a few pleasantries. Shannon Quinn was quite adept at handling such occasions.

However, her mind was not on the exhibits of the evening’s exhibition. From the mont she entered, she subconsciously started looking for sothing.

"Miss Quinn, your works are truly amazing, both in appearance and design concept."

"Thank you."

"Miss Quinn, if there’s an opportunity in the future, I’d love to collaborate with you."

Shannon Quinn responded to others’ complints with a simple "Thank you," not expecting her work to beco the highlight of the exhibition, showcased in the center.

Erin Bishop stood in front of one of Shannon Quinn’s display cabinets, admiring the magnificent outfit, and said, "Shannon, didn’t expect tonight to be your main show. Did Landon Sutton spend so much money on this exhibition just to promote you?"

"You’re overthinking. He spends a lot, but earns a lot too. Rona, you run a business yourself. Don’t businessn make deals that don’t lose money?"

"With the small business I run, how can I compare to Landon Sutton? Rich people spending money to pursue won isn’t unusual. I look at Landon Sutton and feel like he just wants to pursue you. You see any Sutton industry that has anything to do with the fashion world? From past to present, he’s never organized such an exhibition. He had the ti and effort, why not do sothing more profitable? Clearly, because of you!"

Although Shannon Quinn felt Erin Bishop’s words made so sense, she didn’t want to think in that direction: "Stop talking nonsense, there are so many people here!"

"Shannon, it’s not that I’m pushing you toward prostitution. I’m just thinking of you and your unborn child. You’ve said Vincent Rhodes is always secretive and doesn’t treat you like family; he’s often away and can’t regularly be with you. It feels like he doesn’t really consider you and the child important."

"...That’s not it."

"Is it not? You know it in your heart. I feel Landon Sutton is truly good to you; you might consider remarrying. I think he’s quite dedicated to you."

Shannon Quinn nervously glanced around and, fortunately, saw no one nearby. She quickly pulled Erin Bishop away, saying in a low voice: "Don’t say things like that here, what if soone hears?"

"Alright, alright, I won’t say it. As the elder sister, I’m only giving you good advice, but the final decision is up to you."

Amidst her confusion, the exhibition hall entrance beca a hubbub, and among the discussions, she heard a familiar na.

In the bustling crowd, she vaguely saw a black sedan parked at the entrance of the exhibition hall.

The car door opened, and the first thing to land was a glossy black cane, followed by a shiny gentleman’s shoe.

Ronan Rhodes got out from the driver’s seat and hurried over to assist Landon Sutton out of the car.

His neat black short hair, along with sharp and stern features, his pitch-black eyes deep and mysterious, seed capable of capturing a person’s soul. His perfectly proportioned features looked like ticulously sculpted artwork.

Dressed in a crisp black suit, even with an injured leg propped on a cane, it couldn’t conceal the noble aura emanating from him, like a king commanding the world.

Tonight, aside from those coming to see the design pieces, probably many were here for Landon Sutton.

From afar, Shannon Quinn spotted the two sisters from the Yardley Family in the crowd.

Claire Yardley saw Landon Sutton and wanted to go over, but June Yardley pulled her back, and the two seed to be plotting sothing again.

"Hey, Shannon, should we go over and say hello?"

"Forget it. He’s already overwheld."

"Why do I feel he’s always looking at you?"

"You’re mistaken. Let’s go see more inside."

Following Shannon Quinn’s lead for a few steps, Erin Bishop suddenly stopped, exclaiming: "Wait!"

"What happened?" Following Erin Bishop’s gaze, she saw Zoe Whitman in a white strapless dress, holding Zane Rhodes’s arm, smiling and talking to him.

Looking at her unforgettable first love now affectionate with another woman, could anything be more jarring?

Shannon Quinn withdrew her gaze to look at Erin Bishop, expecting her to confront Zane Rhodes about the past, but like at the airport, she chose to avoid it.
