"Where is he? Daring to ss with my people, is he tired of living?! Tell him to wait, I’m coming over right now!" Shannon Quinn was all too familiar with Jett Quinn behaving like this.

When it ca to brotherhood and loyalty, Jett Quinn was quite the righteous guy. Back in school, he often stood up for his so-called friends from the underworld. If not for so backing from his parents, he might have been expelled several tis over.

One would think that studying abroad for a few years would have made him more mature, but he still seed like a street thug.

Fortunately, the phone call successfully took Jett Quinn away. This was the result Shannon wanted; otherwise, she didn’t know how long she’d have to deal with him tonight.

"Sis, sothing ca up, I’ll see you another day. Be good, okay?" he said, raising his hand and unexpectedly patting Shannon on the head. By the ti Shannon realized and moved to dodge, he had already retracted his hand and left without looking back.

Fearing he might return, Shannon went over to lock the door.

A wise person knows when to yield. You should learn to give in when needed; understanding Jett Quinn’s ways, as long as you don’t make him lose face and satisfy his vanity, he won’t do anything too outrageous.

But now that Jett Quinn knew her address, he would definitely co to hassle her every few days, and who knew when it would end.

Living under his shadow as a child, will she ever escape him now that she’s grown up?

"Buzz buzz"

Shannon withdrew her thoughts, reached into her bag, and took out her phone. It was a call from Erin Bishop.

"What’s up, Rona?"

"You free tomorrow night?"

"At night? I should be free." Her job was fairly flexible, and Aidan Lockwood was quite open-minded with her. For every project she took on, he only specified the deadline but never insisted on seeing daily progress.

Whenever he noticed she lacked inspiration, he would even suggest giving her ti off to walk around.

"Why don’t you co with to a party? I’ll take you out for so fun."

"What kind of party is it?"

"Oh, just clear your schedule, and I’ll co to your studio around four or five in the afternoon tomorrow."

Trusting that Erin wouldn’t lead her astray, Shannon didn’t ask further questions.

The next day, Shannon arrived at the store as agreed. It was just after four, and after tidying up a bit, she followed Erin out of the studio.

"What you’re wearing won’t do, let’s get styled first."

"Where exactly are we going?"

"Just a gathering. It’s boring going alone, and seeing your dreary daily life, I thought I’d take you out for fun."

"You’re not out hunting for guys again, are you?"

"Hey, I don’t like how that sounds." Erin chuckled mischievously and corrected her, "I call this socializing, not hunting for guys."

Shannon couldn’t help but laugh. She sotis envied Erin’s lifestyle, attitude, and her bold approach to love.

If it were Shannon, having gone through so many failed relationships, she might have given up on n long ago.

Though Erin seed carefree and had a lot of male friends, only she knew about the hidden struggles and little-known pains deep inside.

At the salon, Erin was evidently a regular. The manager greeted her enthusiastically and hurriedly presented the store’s latest offerings.

They both chose sister outfits, all in white dresses. Shannon wore a long dress with transparent netting and puffed sleeves, relatively conservative yet elegant and graceful.

Erin wore a short, backless dress, a mix of sexiness with a hint of chill.

Different styles and designs, but equally beautiful.

Due to the pregnancy, Shannon only asked the makeup artist for a very light makeup, with her long hair styled up.

Looking at herself in the mirror, Shannon wondered if she’d look like this in a wedding dress.

Married for two years, now pregnant, but the dream wedding and dress many girls yearn for seed out of reach for her.

"Shannon, I regret bringing you along. You’ll definitely outshine ."

"I’m a married woman. How can I outshine you?"

"True enough, help scout for guys tonight, see if there are any handso ones."

"Our Rona is as beautiful as a fairy. No need to look for guys; they’d be tripping over themselves to find you."

Erin started the car, looked at her, and said, "Your words are sweet as honey. I like it!"

Shannon laughed, shaking her head, "Hurry up, we’re almost late."

The party seed to be at a private villa, with an open-air pool, golf course, and vast garden lawns...

Although Shannon had seen grand scenes before, every Rhodes Family gathering was always the standard, business-like affair, but this was different.

This place felt more like an electronic music festival with dynamic music, attended by young people.

It was indeed Shannon’s first ti at such a party.

"Hey, Ms. Bishop, co on in, co on in."

Erin chuckled, holding Shannon’s hand as they walked inside.

"How is it? The vibe here is different, isn’t it? Young people should get out more. Why shut yourself at ho all the ti?"

"Who’s hosting this party?"

"I don’t know. A friend handed an invite and told to join, and since it’s free, why not?" Erin said, turning her head to look at the swimming pool beside them, lanting, "If I had known there was a pool, I would’ve brought a swimsuit."

Shannon joked, "You can just take it off, wear a bikini."

"You’re crazy, Shannon Quinn. With my figure, if I undress here, would you let those n survive?"

Shannon glanced at her chest and then looked at a bikini-clad, large-breasted girl by the poolside, teasing, "Others dare to undress. If you stand next to them, you really won’t stand out."

"Shannon Quinn, you’re sothing, huh? Looks like you want to walk ho tonight."

"Miss Bishop, join us for a drink." Soone called to Erin from across the pool. They saw a man in swim trunks waving at them.

Not holding back, Erin dragged Shannon over.

"Who’s this young lady, Miss Bishop?" The man brought over two bottles of red wine, pouring into a decanter while looking at Shannon.

"She’s my sister, so you guys better not try anything funny."

"Oh, Miss Bishop’s sister, no wonder she’s so pretty. Want a drink?" The man offered a glass of wine to Shannon, who hurriedly waved her hand, "I don’t drink."

Erin, knowing Shannon was pregnant, took the wine glass, "My sister’s still studying, no drinking for her. Just brought her out to see the world. We’ll drink."

"Still studying? What year are you in?"
