Shannon Quinn slamd the door shut, went back to her room, found a cardboard box, filled it with so cat litter, and then took a small box and filled it with cat food.

As she walked over, he left the door open for her. Shannon Quinn hugged the cardboard box in her arms, and still gave the door a couple of symbolic kicks with her foot, as a way of knocking.

She pushed the door open and went in; the room was neat and tidy, showing that Landon Sutton was probably quite a particular person.

"You’re here?" He ca out of the kitchen, wearing a black apron and a white shirt with two buttons undone at the collar, revealing a clear Adam’s apple and faint collarbones; the shirt’s sleeves were rolled up to the forearm, showing a healthy wheat color.

She studied fashion design and had so understanding of models. Judging from his appearance and build, Landon Sutton could absolutely be considered a perfect model.

"I’m making so late-night snacks, want to eat so together?"

Shannon Quinn glanced at him, placed the box by the door, and said, "This small basin is for the cat to eat from; I’ve already prepared it for you. Inside this cardboard box is the cat litter. If the kitten doesn’t know how to use it, you can put it inside, and it will learn to scratch around by itself."

Landon Sutton had never had a cat before, so words like cat litter sounded foreign to him, but he barely understood the gist and nodded, saying, "I’m inexperienced; I’ll have to trouble you with these matters in the future."

Shannon Quinn paused for a mont and said, "If you don’t understand sothing, just check it online, everything’s there."

After saying this, Shannon Quinn lifted her foot and walked out of the room.

Landon Sutton looked at the boiling water in the pot and sighed softly.

She is so well-behaved, and he didn’t know whether to be happy about it.

Right now, he was afraid of losing her, afraid that either of his identities couldn’t keep her.

Because she knew very well that her rejection of all pursuits wasn’t because she loved her nominal husband so much, but rather an inner sense of conscience and morality that stopped her from betraying her marriage.

That night when she proposed a divorce, he suddenly realized she wanted to escape.

She was afraid that her heart might fall for soone else; therefore, he thought that even if he had to use the identity of Landon Sutton to make her fall in love with him, at least in the end, she would belong to him.

But if that were the case, her heart would be tornted, and it seed difficult to make her fall for him within the marriage; she simply didn’t give him a chance to flirt with her.

Looking at the timid little kitten curled up in the corner, Landon Sutton went over, picked it up by the back of its neck, and placed it in front of the cat food bowl.

It sniffed, probably hungry too, and started nibbling at the food.

This little guy was quite afraid of strangers; as soon as it arrived, it scratched him several tis.

It was quite like Shannon Quinn, looking cute and sweet but would extend its claws at soone the mont it was displeased.

Thinking of this, Landon Sutton couldn’t help but smile, squatting beside it and gently petting the kitten’s head.

The next day, Erin Bishop woke up to a matchmaking call, asking Shannon Quinn to accompany her.

Shannon Quinn also knew that Erin Bishop just wanted to use this thod to quickly forget unpleasant things.

Others might avoid such matchmaking matters, pushing them away if they could, but she was different. She was now sowhat desperately wanting to get married.

It was unclear whether she’d completely lost hope for that man deep down in her heart, or if her family was urging her to marry; anyway, she was a regular at the local marriage agency.

"Shannon, maybe I should ask Mae to find soone suitable for you? At your age, if you find soone suitable, you might as well marry them. Don’t end up like , feeling fed up."

Standing by the makeup mirror, Shannon Quinn bent over to help Erin Bishop with her makeup and said, "I think love depends on fate."

"What fate, fate is created by oneself, isn’t it? If you just wait, all the good ones will be picked by soone else. If you et soone with good conditions, we have to take the initiative, understand? It’s as easy as tearing a thin piece of paper for a girl to pursue a guy."

Shannon Quinn felt that Erin Bishop’s personality was quite compatible with hers; neither of them was pretentious, but in reality, the more cheerful soone appears on the surface, the more they have to hide in their heart.

The two won finished getting ready and walked out the door. While waiting for the elevator at the door, Erin Bishop said, "Later, you have to keep an eye out for ; I feel like I’m getting worse at picking n."

Shannon Quinn replied, "You can never truly know soone; it’s not sothing you can determine with just one look."

"Sigh, maybe I should go have my fortune told."

The two joked as they entered the elevator. Shannon Quinn reached out to press the floor button, and just as the elevator door was about to close, a hand reached out to stop it, followed by soone strikingly familiar entering.

Today Landon Sutton was still dressed to the nines in a dark gray double-breasted suit, a style inherently high-end, and paired with his looks, build, and aura, he wouldn’t look out of place if he went up the runway for a stroll.

"Morning." He entered and greeted softly, then stood with his back to them by the elevator door.

Shannon Quinn lowered her gaze, not saying a word.

There were only the three of them in the elevator. Erin Bishop tugged at Shannon Quinn and whispered, "Is the handso guy greeting you?"

"...Neighbor."

Erin Bishop seed to want to ask more but held back because Landon Sutton was still there. It wasn’t until they got off the elevator that she asked Shannon Quinn, "Such a handso neighbor, does he have soone?"

Shannon Quinn chuckled and stamred, "How would I know?"

Erin Bishop turned her head to take a few more looks at Landon Sutton, who was walking toward parking lot three, and muttered, "Why does he look so familiar? He looks like... like soone, right?"

Seeing her frown and thinking crookedly, she imdiately asked, "Like Landon Sutton! Isn’t it Landon Sutton, Shannon?!"

Shannon Quinn thought to herself, Erin Bishop was also in the business circle and must have t Landon Sutton before, so she couldn’t fool her. She nodded and said, "...Yes."

"Oh my God, Landon Sutton lives next to you?! You must seize the opportunity next to the water, aren’t you going to reel in this big fish?"

Shannon Quinn used the car key to unlock the car door, sliding into the driver’s seat while saying, "I barely know him."

"Feelings develop slowly. I heard Landon Sutton is a good person; many people are rushing to marry him!"

"We don’t really know him; we only hear what others say. Who knows what he’s really like in private?"

Erin Bishop fastened her seat belt and said, "Why don’t you introduce to him? Maybe if we et, we’ll have chemistry, and I’ll be set for life."

Shannon Quinn paused her hand on the steering wheel and laughed, "You’re already set for life."

"My little company can’t compare to Landon Sutton, but then again, handso and rich n make uneasy. They’re flighty; I’m at an age where I don’t have ti for his antics. It’s better to honestly find a good man and settle down."

Erin Bishop looked down while picking at her nails and then turned her head to Shannon Quinn, saying, "But Shannon, you could give it a try. Worst case, just have fun; after all, you’re still young."
