Susan Wilde said, "Anyway, I won’t be with him forever. Once our partnership ends, we’ll get divorced. Besides, he and that woman were together before. They think it’s who ruined their love."

"You can’t say that. If Shawn Rhodes really loved that woman so much, he wouldn’t have agreed to marry you. So, from his perspective, he still values family interests more."

"But he doesn’t think that way. He always feels like I’m scheming against him. That Rowan Alder got into a car accident on the day we got married and injured her leg. He even thinks I arranged for soone to hit her on purpose."

"Why don’t you move out? My old house is still empty. I initially reserved it for my mom, but she didn’t co back with us, so it’s been vacant."

Susan Wilde sighed and said, "I’ve thought about living alone, but his parents drop by occasionally. If they find out I’ve moved out, it would be quite troubleso. Anyway, now I just go ho to sleep at night, so it’s like co-renting."

"That works too. I’ll give you the key and address later. The house is empty, so you can move in anyti."

"Thank you, Shannon."

After her check-up, Susan Wilde went to the company and then returned ho to fetch so docunts.

During the day, Shawn is usually in the company. When Susan returned, only Rowan Alder was in the living room, exuding the air of a hostess.

Susan Wilde intended to ignore her presence and headed straight to her bedroom to get her docunts, but Rowan Alder stopped her, "Sister, could you pour a glass of water? My leg is inconvenient."

Susan Wilde paused, turned to glance at Rowan, and smiled, "Sorry, I’m in a hurry. Why don’t you call my husband to serve you?"

With that, Susan Wilde left, ignoring Rowan Alder’s displeased expression.

She didn’t mind Rowan Alder’s presence, but that didn’t an she accepted her.

Sotis, the more agreeable you are, the more others think they can take advantage of you.

Shannon Quinn’s wedding was scheduled for June, giving them ample ti to prepare.

The wedding photoshoot was smoothly completed with the team’s assistance. It took two days and one night, visiting five different locations, each with a unique style, but Shannon was very satisfied.

Landon Sutton’s performance exceeded her expectations. He seed like a scenic view just standing there. The photographer even asked if he’d modeled before, as he looked natural and charming without any deliberate poses during the shoot.

Even when Shannon Quinn went to pick up the photos, she couldn’t help but admire his looks. She felt secretly thrilled thinking such an excellent man belonged to her.

After picking up the wedding photos, she went straight to the kindergarten to pick up Leo.

Since that car accident, she avoided driving whenever possible.

The kindergarten was only a few minutes away from ho, and her timing was just right as she walked over.

As she picked up Leo and left, she thought she saw a familiar face in the crowd, though she couldn’t be sure.

After picking up Leo, Shannon took him to Landon Sutton’s company. Landon had just returned from a eting when he ran into them at the elevator door.

Seeing his beloved woman and child after a tiring day at work seed to dispel his fatigue. Ignoring the assistant behind him, he naturally kissed Shannon and then bent down to hold Leo’s hand, asking, "What did you learn at kindergarten today?"

"Recited a poem! I also sang and played the piano. The teacher even praised !"

Landon gently ruffled Leo’s hair and then instructed his assistant, "Take this to Vice President Thorne, and remind him of the eting tonight."

With that, Landon took his wife and child into the office, checked his watch, and said, "You guys sit for a bit. I just have a few things to finish up before I can leave."

Shannon nodded, hesitating to speak.

She was still worried about the figure she thought she saw at Leo’s school gate.

Landon stepped out for a few minutes and returned quickly, organizing the files on his desk while asking, "What do you want for dinner tonight?"

Looking at Leo, Shannon watched as Leo said, "I still want that barbecue from yesterday."

Landon replied, "Only once a week. Pick sothing else."

Leo pouted but complied, "Then curry."

Landon nodded, took his coat and car keys, "Let’s go."

As they waited for the elevator, Shannon asked, "How’s the Yardley Family doing now?"

Landon paused, realizing what she ant, and as the elevator doors opened, he replied, "Haven’t heard much. Why?"

"Wasn’t their business closed down before? What happened after that?"

"June Yardley leaned on Seth Fairchild, but it didn’t change much. Her father seems to have passed away a year ago and her mother is overseas. Why?"

"What about Claire Yardley?"

"Haven’t really checked. Why are you suddenly asking about them?"

Shannon frowned, "When I picked up Leo today, I thought I saw her near the school gate, but I wasn’t sure. It’s been so long since I last saw her, so I might have been mistaken."

Concerned about his child’s safety, Landon didn’t take it lightly, "I’ll have soone investigate. Since we always pick up and drop off the child, don’t worry too much."

Shannon nodded, reminding her son, "At school, no one but or your dad should take you away, okay?"

Leo nodded and asked, "What about Grandma?"

"Grandma is taking care of your uncle now, so she can’t pick you up."

"But Uncle’s already so big, why does he need Grandma’s care?"

"Ask your uncle yourself."

Leo pouted, tugging on Landon’s pants, and playfully asked for toys.

Considering his recent good behavior at school, Shannon didn’t stop him, and Landon usually indulged his son’s requests.

However, if Shannon said no, Landon would side with her, disappointing Leo but respecting his wife’s wishes.

This made Leo feel his dad was more lenient than his mom.

After this incident, Shannon was more cautious with drop-offs and pick-ups, scanning the surroundings carefully each ti with no further sightings of anyone resembling Claire Yardley.

Interestingly, the investigation Landon initiated revealed that Claire had indeed returned to the country briefly a few days ago, t with June, stayed two days, and then left.

Regardless of whether the person was Claire Yardley or whether she posed a threat to Leo, Shannon beca significantly more vigilant. She would personally hand Leo over to his teacher and instructed them to only allow her or Landon to pick him up.

Even if she was being overly suspicious, Shannon couldn’t bear the thought of any risk to Leo.
