Caleb Grant frowned as he looked at her, clearly not fond of what she was saying.

"Mr. Grant, you’re wealthy and powerful. If you want sothing, just speak up; na your price. I can serve you well if you want it."

Caleb knew she was speaking out of anger, but it still grated on him. He took a deep breath and said, "I’m really sorry about that night."

"You don’t need to apologize. It was my debt to you, after all. You’ve helped a lot and spent quite a bit on . I know that. It’s who hasn’t been appreciative, deluding myself into thinking too highly of myself. Being favored by Boss Grant is a blessing from a past life that I should cherish." Sheila Yardley laughed, turning back to look at him, taking a step closer and resting her hand on his chest. "Don’t you agree?"

Listening to her sarcastic words, Caleb Grant knew that wasn’t her true feeling.

Sheila Yardley looked at him and continued, "I’ve thought things through these past few days. Suddenly, it hit . A woman’s youth and beauty last just a few years. Since Boss Grant fancies , I should cherish and make the most of these years, earn all I can, so that when Boss Grant finds soone new, I won’t be left with nothing. That’s the real loss."

"I was thinking, let’s agree on the price and services up front, so I have so understanding of where I stand. What do you say?"

"What are you making yourself out to be?"

"And what do you take for? Wasn’t this your idea from the start?" Sheila Yardley lowered her hand, her smile unchanged. "Did Boss Grant approach with so much effort, talking about working off my debt for nothing? Surely Boss Grant, with all his riches, wouldn’t go that far for free?"

"Shut up."

Sheila Yardley tilted her head slightly, looking at him, saying, "If it wasn’t for that, then maybe... you like ?"

Caleb Grant was stunned, his eyes fell as he looked at her, then he said, "Otherwise, you wouldn’t be able to talk to like this."

Sheila Yardley was a bit surprised at his implicit admission. Could he truly like her?

She hid her doubts; the answer wasn’t important to her, because she knew she’d never fall for a man like him.

"Well, I’m truly flattered, but Boss Grant’s way of chasing won is rather clumsy. Let teach you a thing or two."

Caleb Grant wasn’t sure what trick she wanted to play, but he followed her out nonetheless.

It was still raining outside, and he held an umbrella for her as they walked side by side.

In that mont, he felt it was quite pleasant, even thinking to himself that since he had expressed his feelings, maybe he could really gain her forgiveness and a response.

She went to the mall and bought a lot of luxury items she usually wouldn’t even touch, as if trying to vent by spending his money.

Caleb Grant thought if this could calm her down, it wouldn’t be a bad thing.

So, he patiently accompanied her, swiftly swiping his card after she selected her items, then helping her carry the stuff.

She seed quite happy, but he still felt sothing was off.

"Let’s call it a day, this shopping is tiring."

Caleb Grant chuckled and asked, "What do you want for dinner?"

Sheila Yardley looked at his smile, feeling sowhat dissatisfied, turned her head, and walked ahead without a word.

Caleb Grant thought she was just contemplating dinner, so he casually followed.

After exiting the elevator, Caleb Grant asked again, "Have you made up your mind?"

Sheila Yardley paused and said, "Let’s go ho."

"Ho?"

"Hmm, you cook for ."

Caleb Grant hesitated for a mont, then, feeling quite happy, smiled and said, "Okay."

He wholeheartedly believed she was accepting him.

He internally regretted not telling her his feelings earlier; maybe things wouldn’t have turned out like this.

After returning, he went to the supermarket to buy groceries, then busied himself alone in the kitchen.

Sheila Yardley sat on the couch watching TV, never even glancing toward the kitchen.

After Caleb finished cooking, he dished out the food for her and then called out, "Turn off the TV and co eat."

Sheila Yardley lazily got up from the couch, turned off the TV, walked into the dining room, and looked at the dishes on the table, frowning slightly.

"What’s wrong?" Caleb asked, puzzled as he saw her standing by and not eating.

Sheila Yardley turned and walked away, leaving a sentence, "I don’t like these dishes, you eat them yourself."

Caleb Grant froze, just knowing sothing was wrong; she did it on purpose.

After putting so much effort into the al, he realized she was playing him. He felt a bit of anger but composed himself for a mont, then patiently knocked on her door and said, "What do you want to eat? I’ll make it again."

Inside, ca her response, "No need, I’m ordering takeout."

Caleb Grant directly opened the room door, looked at her, and questioned, "What do you an by all this?"

Sheila Yardley feigned ignorance, looking innocently at the visibly furious him, "What do I an? Why are you so angry?"

"Playing ?"

"Boss Grant can’t even handle this little grievance? Then I advise you not to date at all. Let’s just talk business; you give money, I give you desire."

Caleb Grant gritted his teeth, slamd the door, and left.

Sheila Yardley also retracted her smile, heaving a sigh of relief.

Thinking to herself, at this rate, it wouldn’t be long before he kicks her out, right?

Even until evening, Caleb Grant hadn’t returned.

The rain continued to fall all day, and Sheila Yardley stood on the balcony for a while, then went back inside, changed into a sexy outfit, put on makeup, and headed to a bar.

This ti, she went to Caleb Grant’s bar.

"Bring your most expensive bottle of wine here."

The waitress smiled, nodded, and said, "Okay, please wait a mont."

Shortly, the waitress ca with a tray holding a glass of wine.

Sheila Yardley said, "That’s too little. Let’s get a case first."

The waitress was taken aback and said, "Miss, this wine is 350,000 per bottle."

"Then bring five cases."

The waitress was stunned but obliged, bringing five bottles first while informing the manager, worried it might be soone here to cause trouble.

Once the wine was delivered, Sheila Yardley had the waitress open all of them. "Why only five bottles?"

The waitress used an excuse, "The rest are in the warehouse. I’ve asked soone to fetch them. Please enjoy these for now, miss."

Sheila Yardley nodded and asked, "Is this really your most expensive wine here?"

"We do have so that cost over ten million, but those are reserved by the boss for entertaining VIPs; we usually don’t sell those to regular custors."

"The boss’s VIP guests? Bring out a bottle for to see."

"I’m sorry, miss, but without the boss’s approval, we can’t access that wine. These are top quality; please try them first."

Sheila Yardley nodded and said, "Thank you then."

After the waitress left, she picked up her glass, tasted the wine, and rembering her last drunken episode, knew better. She wasn’t foolish enough to suffer again, so she gifted the open bottles on her table to the custors at the adjacent tables.
