A whole new world lay hidden beneath the desert. If Aur weren't in this Wizard World, he wouldn't believe it even in death.

However, as he looked up at the sun hanging overhead, his expression turned peculiar.

The sun in this world was weak—so feeble that it seed on the verge of vanishing, as if it were nothing more than the last flicker of a dream slowly decaying into oblivion.

"I wonder what will happen when the sun completely burns out… hmm…"

Aur mused for a mont before shifting his attention back to his surroundings. Spreading his five senses outward, he swiftly scanned the area.

It didn't take long for him to spot Moonlight in the distance.

"What's he doing there?"

His gaze sharpened when he sensed another presence beside Moonlight.

Then, in an instant, his figure flickered and vanished, as if he had never been there to begin with.

Moving like a phantom, he reached Moonlight's side, his presence so faint it was nearly imperceptible. As he arrived, he quietly absorbed the surrounding energy, lting into the surrounding.

At this mont, Moonlight was gripping a woman's neck. She flailed her arms and legs frantically, resembling a fish stranded on land.

Her desperate struggle amounted to nothing, only draining the last remnants of her strength. Blue veins bulge across her pale neck, constricting as she gasps for air.

"What's he doing?"

Aur frowned. As he observed further, his senses tingled—several figures were approaching fast. Within monts, the rustling of leaves signaled their arrival as they erged from the dense underbrush.

The girl's eyes flickered with a glimr of hope. Her trembling arms fell still as she attempted to speak, but no sound escaped her lips.

The bushes parted, revealing four individuals, their wary gazes fixed on their struggling companion.

"Who are you? State your identity."

The leading man wasted no ti, producing a wand from thin air and aiming it at Moonlight.

"A wand?" Aur's pupils shrank as he cald his breathing and looked more carefully.

Of course, he wasn't shocked by a re stick but by the terrifying fluctuation of mana he felt in his surroundings.

This mana was overwhelming, almost suffocating to those who sensed it.

Even Moonlight took two steps back while holding the woman, her face pale.

"How dare an outsider invade our sacred Holy Fla Village? You shall be burned alive by the grace of the god."

He spoke loudly as he twitched his arms.

A bone-chilling dark fla slowly appeared.

At this mont, the entire world seed to have plunged into darkness. The sun had vanished, and Moonlight's focus was entirely on these dark, eerie flas.

The dark flas slowly made their way toward him, burning away all the surrounding air.

Moonlight wanted to escape but found himself locked in place.

Bang!

The dark flas landed, and dust rose from the ground, veiling the surroundings so that no one could see anything.

Aur narrowed his eyes and looked at the people before him. He could feel a threatening aura from the wand. As for concern over Moonlight?

That was basically impossible!

Don't forget the task the voice had given him! He needed to kill both the unknown creatures and those darlings of luck—who could basically be considered the protagonists of their story.

And Moonlight was one of them. Whether he would truly follow the order of that being was still unknown, but one thing was certain—Aur wouldn't lose out no matter what.

As the dust settled, Moonlight remained completely intact. Horns had appeared on his forehead, and long wings stretched from his back. His slit pupils gazed upon them with unabashed fury.

Then, his figure vanished with a surge of mana.

A small wind blade shot through the air, and the man hurriedly ford a shield that protected himself and the others. The rustling sound of the air, almost like a hurricane capable of blowing an ordinary man into the sky, filled the surroundings.

Moonlight didn't wait for their response as he unleashed wind blade after wind blade, the sky trembling under his might.

When the man hurled the black flas with his wand, Moonlight simply tanked the hit and increased the pressure.

In just a short exchange, the leading man had already broken out in a cold sweat, his eyes darting nervously with uncontrollable fear.

"Orson, what should we do now? Oriel is still in his hands, and we can't back away."

Orson turned to them with a stern, cold expression, demanding absolute obedience as he spoke:

"Don't worry, I will take care of it."

Saying this, he raised his wand toward the sky.

Rumble!

The earth trembled as the ground cracked and floated into the air. Like a teorite, it shot straight toward Moonlight.

Moonlight casually defended himself while opening his mouth, unleashing a continuous stream of red flas that surged back toward Orson.

"Hmph." Orson snorted coldly. *Even if you are a Tier Six wizard, in front of the spell my father gave , you are nothing.*

Five colorful lights gathered around him, instantly destroying the rock before it could reach him.

The speed of the five-colored light was terrifying, and Moonlight couldn't dodge in ti—he was hit.

"Eh!?" He paused, staring at himself with an incredulous expression.

"Why is my mana not working—"

Before he could finish, he plumted to the ground with a deafening thud, crashing faster than he had flown. A large crater ford upon impact.

His body was now injured, blood gushing from the corner of his mouth.

"What is happening?" Moonlight's eyes widened as a pool of blood slowly ford beneath him.

Aur watched the scene from afar, a sneer on his face.

"This guy is really weak."

Honestly, he wouldn't mind if Moonlight was killed, but the hand of the Dragon Emperor made things complicated. If he died, suspicion would undoubtedly arise, and who knew? The Dragon Emperor might even be watching right now.

Fooling a Tier Eight is like digging your own grave!

So, Aur moved further away just as the group reached Moonlight's fallen figure.

"Where is Sister Oriel?" Orson roared the mont he couldn't see her.

"Hehe, guess where she is."

Moonlight smirked—then imdiately grimaced from the pain.

"You…"

Before he could finish speaking, a sudden chill ran down his spine. As he looked around, he saw his companions collapsing one by one, his vision slowly dimming.

"I… I…"

In his increasingly blurred sight, a bulky youth stood before him—his muscles exaggerated, his eyes a devilish red, and his skin deathly pale.

Only one word resounded in his mind: Demon.
