It would be a lie if he said he wasn't stunned, feeling the strength coursing through his body.
An imaginary punching bag ford in his mind. It was ordinary, with nothing special to it, yet Aur sensed a strange certainty—if he struck it, he would break through to Tier Six, achieving his first condensation of Spirit to enhance its quality and power.
At the sa ti, pain surged through his body. Veins bulge across his bulky fra, turning him into a muscle-bound monster.
Aur snapped open his eyes to the space inside the lotus and resud consuming resources as if casually drinking water. His right hand tore apart, his muscles cramped, and his limbs beca completely unusable.
But he didn't stop. He kept devouring the potions, the blood of terrifying beings. His left leg twisted unnaturally, sending him slumping to the ground, the bucket of golden blood spilling over.
He opened his mouth, swallowing the golden blood in mouthfuls, then reached for the potion—
Boom!
His left arm exploded into a mist of blood. Aur, undeterred, limped toward the remaining resources, tearing into them with his powerful teeth.
The pain was soul-rending, enough to paralyze anyone, but he didn't care. His sole focus was enhancent.
Bit by bit, his spirit strengthened, while his body, the vessel, continued to rupture. Flesh burst apart until only the upper half of his body remained.
Aur chewed on the last of the resources and decisively struck the punching bag in his mind.
Thump! Thump!
His heart pounded furiously, his muscles rapidly shrinking. Behind him, his colossal spirit, as large as the sun, erged and moved on its own.
As he observed its movent closely, a sense of familiarity struck him.
"This is… my Void Fist?" Aur muttered, puzzled.
At that mont, a surge of information flooded his mind, consuming and overwhelming his senses. Yet, he refused to lose consciousness.
If he fainted now, he would fail to break through.
"I must do it."
Gritting his teeth, Aur opened his system and allocated everything into his life level, focusing entirely on comprehending the knowledge invading his mind.
It was the knowledge of the Void Fist.
Reaching Tier Six wasn't as simple as rely condensing one's spirit. When a body path user reached their limits, they had to use their spirit as a dium to inscribe the Laws onto their body. Everyone experienced this breakthrough differently.
Cold sweat dripped from Aur's forehead as he lay curled on the ground, his body still half-broken yet slowly regenerating.
Above him, his giant spirit continued practicing the Void Fist. However, it was visibly shrinking, bit by bit. At the sa ti, intricate tattoos began appearing across its form.
After a tense hour, the spirit had shrunk to Aur's original size, its body covered in strange ancient tattoos. A thin, barely noticeable circle marked its forehead—the symbol of the first condensation of spirit, signifying his breakthrough to Tier Six.
The spirit returned to Aur, rging seamlessly with his body.
By now, his physical form had fully recovered, yet he remained in a semi-conscious state. The agony he endured was beyond words—both ntally and physically, it was too terrifying to even imagine.
But instead of resting…
Aur turned to the empty, dark space, a grin curling his lips.
"Hahaha, I did it."
"Even in pain, if you laugh, the pain will go away. Pain has always been my friend… and always will be."
Initially, he might have been weaker than those who practiced Martial Arts for the Body Path. However, now that he had strengthened his spirit to such a terrifying degree, he was confident he had surpassed them.
With this thought, Aur didn't hesitate to consu the remaining resources. In fact, nearly fifty percent of them were still left—proof of the unimaginably vast supply he had been given. Not to ntion, he could sense that the lotus itself was extraordinary.
Another stretch of ti passed, and with a single system point, Aur directly broke through to the mid-stage of Tier Six. His spirit underwent another round of condensation, and the Laws of Space were further engraved into his being.
The circle within his spirit had grown thicker, and another thin ring had appeared alongside it.
"Sigh, all the treasures are drained now."
Aur scowled, his face scrunching in dissatisfaction. Initially, he had expected to reach at least the peak of Tier Six, but who would have thought that his unique advantage would allow him to expand his spirit even further?
Still, the overwhelming power coursing through him filled him with eagerness. He wanted to test his strength, feeling almost invincible.
"I should be able to use Space Magic now, right?" Aur scratched his chin in thought.
In truth, Laws and Magic were one and the sa—just nad differently. Comprehension of the Laws wasn't exclusive to any single path; practitioners of other disciplines could integrate them into their own strengths as well.
As a Body Path user, he could have manipulated Laws through Martial Arts as a dium. However, to truly wield it freely, one had to reach Tier Six, where it could be used naturally without any dium.
With this in mind, Aur slowly stood up, took a deep breath, and threw a punch into the void. His fist vanished midway—only to reappear elsewhere, slicing through thin air and causing the surroundings to tremble.
"Ho… My moves are completely unpredictable now. No one can escape my fist." He smirked. "As for the fuel… it's my stamina, Blood, and Qi, but the consumption isn't much. My body can now freely manipulate the laws of Space."
Satisfied, Aur stepped out of the lotus and surveyed his surroundings.
"A year has already gone by?" Aur's pupils shrank in shock. Even with resources delivered straight to him, no bottlenecks, and the advantage of his cheat, it had still taken an entire year just to reach mid-Tier Six. He couldn't begin to imagine how long it would take for others.
One had to rember—no matter how powerful people beca, they were still bound by their mortal lifespan of just over a hundred years.
Even in the golden era, the other paths faced the sa limitation. The Lifespan Rune would erge naturally from the world itself, a ans to extend one's life.
Unlike now, lifespan "spells" were also born from nature.
"This is truly the world of Wizards now."
Aur sighed. If one wished to live past a hundred years, becoming a wizard was the only path. This was likely one of the reasons for the downfall of all other paths—wizards had an inherent advantage that no one else could match.
Shaking off these thoughts, he focused on cultivating his bloodline ntal space. He chose Dragon Vigor as his vital spell and, with the vast resources provided by Moonlight, reached Tier Three in nearly two years.
Pushing forward, he spent another two years breaking through to Tier Four. He even used the system storage to construct a ntal space, but it remained stuck at Tier One due to space limitations.
Just as he was about to use his comprehension of Space Magic to expand it—
*Knock, knock.*
"…Who is it?"
"It's , Aur. We've been granted a mission from the Dragon King," Moonlight called out.
"Oh, alright."
