Chapter 50: Visit

Victor returned to Alexandra’s residence.

He hadn’t chosen a place within the academy—so to him, that woman’s pavilion was his residence.

His arrival imdiately drew attention.

He stopped in front of Lily.

"I can go in, right?" he asked.

"Yes!" Lily nodded, though her expression looked strained.

She had repeatedly told others that Alexandra wasn’t receiving guests today due to training—but Victor... he was allowed in without question.

Victor stepped inside.

There was no sign of Alexandra on the first floor. It was clean and orderly, a clear indication that no one had been there.

He walked toward the stairs leading to the second floor, curious about the place since the pavilion had three levels.

It wasn’t very tall. He reached it quickly.

What he found was a rather ordinary room—a bookshelf filled with many books, a table, and a chair beside a glass window that was transparent from the inside but appeared dark from the outside.

This was essentially a private living space.

The third floor should be her bedroom.

Victor then saw Alexandra descending from the third floor, her face uncovered—no veil hiding her beauty.

What caught his attention was her outfit: a simple, short casual dress.

Perhaps this was what she usually wore when alone.

After all, most people could only reach the first floor.

Even Lily would need permission to go higher.

Others would have been shocked to see Alexandra like this—but Victor only smiled casually.

He had seen her naked, had enjoyed her body—so what was a short dress?

"Sorry, I haven’t done much with my residence yet. There’s only one chair, but you can sit there," Alexandra said as she reached the second floor and saw Victor standing beside it.

"One is enough. We can share," Victor replied casually as he sat down.

Alexandra blushed slightly at his words.

Still, she took out another chair from her ring and placed it opposite him.

Unfortunately, from that position, the view of the window wasn’t as clear.

Victor let her take that seat.

He wasn’t so reckless as to pounce on her again the sa day—after spending so long with her that very morning.

"I sotis sit here to ditate... and occasionally look out at the academy," Alexandra said, placing two cups of warm tea on the table.

Victor drank it willingly.

The taste was bland, but it carried a strong warming effect—perfect for the cool afternoon that seed to promise rain.

"I heard Lady Jade Sovereign has a technique that can absorb emotions," Victor said, getting straight to the point.

"Yes—Emotion Eater. It’s a technique that devours specific emotions from others," Alexandra nodded and explained further.

"She created it herself, and currently it only works at the Sky Realm. According to her, it can only absorb emotions contained within blood—so the emotion must be strong enough to imprint itself into it. If it reaches the Saint Realm, it might directly absorb emotions from a person. At the Heaven Realm... it might even manipulate emotions completely."

"I see. Have you learned it?"

"No. Master never shared this technique with her disciples—she fears it could be misused," Alexandra shook her head.

She looked into Victor’s eyes, curiosity flickering within them.

"Victor... if you want my help with this, I’m afraid I can’t," she added.

"Why?" Victor asked.

"Lady Jade Sovereign no longer considers

her disciple—and she has forbidden

from eting her."

Victor, "..."

He didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

"I think she’s just narrow-minded. What’s wrong with our relationship?" he said.

Alexandra didn’t respond this ti.

She clearly didn’t want to speak ill of her forr master.

"You don’t regret it, do you?" Victor asked.

"Fate is not sothing to regret..." Alexandra replied calmly.

Victor smiled faintly.

"I’ll take that as you saying you prefer —so much that even your master can’t stop you from being with ."

Alexandra, "..."

"It seems I’ll have to et that woman myself..." Victor stood up.

"You’re leaving?" Alexandra looked surprised.

"Why? Disappointed I’m leaving so soon? Don’t worry—once I’m done, I’ll co back."

Victor gently stroked her smooth wrist before walking away.

He could still see her ears turning red.

Lady Jade Sovereign resided in a magnificent castle—one of the most striking structures in the academy.

Even Margaret’s castle in the Russell Clan couldn’t compare—it was almost like a royal palace.

More importantly, it was surrounded by walls and a vast courtyard.

People couldn’t get too close.

Two senior students were stationed at the gate.

Others could only linger outside, unable to enter.

Lady Jade Sovereign usually only taught those who were talented and had high Contribution Points.

Of course, the main factor was whether she liked the student—judging by their personality.

When Victor arrived, he saw Lancelot walking out of the gate, deep in thought.

Perhaps he was reflecting on what he had just learned.

His expression shifted to shock when he saw Victor.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

His eyes even turned slightly red—more emotional than usual.

"Why? Can’t I visit Lady Jade Sovereign?" Victor replied calmly with a faint smile.

"You are not welco here," Lancelot said.

"That’s not for you to decide."

Victor turned to the two students guarding the gate.

"What did she say?" he asked.

They looked at each other with strange expressions.

"Lady said... you can enter," they replied.

Victor smiled gently, while others were left in disbelief.

Just as he expected.

That woman might not be willing to teach him—but if he ca to her residence, she wouldn’t refuse to see him.

After all, people are always curious about those they dislike.

Victor walked past Lancelot, who could do nothing to stop him.

The courtyard was filled with blooming flowers, birds flying freely—it looked like paradise in the mortal world.

The air was noticeably fresher. Victor took several deep breaths to enjoy it.

But when he reached the castle door, he frowned.

He couldn’t open it.

It was locked.

"Just as expected... a woman who would sulk endlessly if she were a lover," he muttered.

BANG!

Victor kicked the door open, shattering it instantly.

It was just an ordinary door—how could it possibly withstand his strength?

"You?" The woman behind the door was stunned.

But she wasn’t Lady Jade Sovereign.
