He and his mother were alone on their rooftop and once again, they were trading another thing with the system. Both of their hearts were stirring.
It was especially a bit scary for Yue Li since she had always seen it as a very scary and weighty power to be in the hands of soone like her. Of course, since knowing it was not all godly and just trade, that had changed.
Her son took Yue Li's hands into his and gently clicked the Luck Trade option with it.

Just like the Life Great Dao, he had never really completely understood this magical screen either. He wanted to figure out what it truly was in this life.

They both waited in anticipation, their eyes glimring slightly. How will they obtain the object this ti?
This was the biggest exchange Yue Li had seen and it was not like any other. Magical Resources couldn't just pop up out of nowhere, right?
It had to co from sowhere and most avenues were blocked by the three clans. Soone won't just co here with a resource in hand, right?

Their things had already been shifted earlier. They ca here to have a final look and Liyue obviously didn't follow them; she knew what personal ti was.
As the cold night breeze blew against them, Yue Li shivered and fell into her son's hands. "So cold."
Han Li caressed her back and looked around. The area around here was as silent as ever at night, the night birds were making sounds at intervals and cicadas were chirping at their own pace. In his gaze, there was nothing here that could give him the fruit.
His red eyes kept glimring and his gaze kept roaming, but nothing unusual was happening at all. It was pitch dark around but he could still see clearly enough due to his enhanced senses. Knock* Knock*
Soone knocked on their door and their hearts skipped a beat. Han Li frowningly let go of his mother and activated his spark.
Soone ca all the way here and silently at that. Had it been soone like Liyue, he would have heard the footsteps at least.
As his senses expanded, his mind suddenly cald down after seeing who it was. The person outside was soone he knew.
Han Li moved into his house and Yue Li followed. She was intrigued by who the strange man outside was. She had never seen him before.
With a small creak, the door opened and Han Li looked indifferently at Li Ming. He was standing there with a casual smile and sparkling pair of eyes.
Han Li's head overflowed with thoughts. 'Did I leave any clues behind? Did he notice I was the one who threw stones? Is he after because I ruined his marriage?'
No thoughts aligned. But he secretly looked around. The only issue was — if he had to kill, his mother who was behind him would have to see sothing grueso.
"What might you need at this ti of the hour?" Han Li asked calmly, ready to move at any second. He could almost picture snapping a neck.
Li Ming scratched the back of his head and said, "Ah, sorry for the intrusion but I saw you guys above the roof from so distance away…"
"So?" "So I knew you were not asleep."
Han Li's eyebrows twitched. Had there not been that thing about the trade, he would have already closed the door or made so probing moves.
"What are you looking for for?" he asked instead, but his irritation was evident in his tone.
Yue Li also blinked from the back. Li Ming threw her a brief glance and ignored her, focusing his gaze on Han Li. "Fellow Clanmate, I wanted to apologize for my behavior so days ago at the gate. I had acted too rampant and irritated."
A frown was forming on Han Li's face, what kind of idiot went to apologize at midnight?

"Okay…" Han Li said calmly, "Apology accepted."
Smiling, Li Ming shook his head. Saying, "You don't have to accept my apology with nothing. My pride won't allow it."
Taking out a small blue fruit from his sack, he gave it to Han Li. "I saw earlier that you were looking for the Blue lotus in the trade earlier. I just beca an inner circle citizen today, so I can buy fruits now. So, you can take this as my apology."
Han Li looked at the fruit. 'Water Spring Fruit'. The fruit looked like a blue apple, but its stems were spring-like and it had this blue shine. So of the rare Magical Resources that people could identify at one glance.
"Isn't this too much for an apology?" Han Li asked as he looked at the fruit. A free al didn't really go well with his stomach.
Even though he had paid the system its price, it seed a bit far-fetched for soone to give him this for free. "Well, I can now buy low-level Resources simply. Uh… I am not allowed to trade behind the scenes but giving one as an apology is fine," Li Ming said as he looked up at the sky.
Han Li followed his gaze and found nothing in particular.
"Thanks for the present," he calmly asked, "Now can I close the door?"
"Well, Yes, since my goal is fulfilled."
"Then you shouldn't play around here and go back to your ho." with a final warning, Han Li's door slamd shut.
Li Ming looked at the closed door, blinked, chuckled, and then left the area.
Inside Han Li's ho, Yue Li looked at the blue fruit in his hand and asked curiously, "Who was that?"
"He is that Li Ming kid who was supposed to marry Liyue."
Yue Li's face brightened. "Ah! No wonder! No wonder he ca all the way here to give you a fruit."
Han Li's eyebrow twitched in irritation. "Why?"
"Wasn't that the person who said he was enlightened?" Yue Li couldn't hold back a chuckle, "The person who said he was ant for n and not won. The Gay guy?"
Han Li looked at the fruit in his hand weirdly. Gay…
He sighed. To think that he would be courted by a man soday... In all 500 years of his past life, sothing like that hadn't happened.
Shaking his head with a chuckle, he said, "All kinds of people in the world. I thought for a second he was eyeing my ugly mom. Didn't have to soil my hand with blood."
Yue Li and Han Li headed back to their rooftops as they spoke about the event in laughter. "He must be trying to impress you for now to slowly gain your trust."
Even Han Li had small creeps at that. He had beco a Young Master stealing a woman last week and now he was a young woman who had taken the fancy of a young master?
He blinked irritatedly. No matter how old and experienced, that made him disgruntled. He wanted no man near him, nor his won.
But still, he was far more intrigued about the System than the small thoughts of a small man. This was a fruit that Li Ming had worked hard to earn and the System still influenced his thoughts to make him give it up. And had he not used the system, would he still have co?
And why did Li Ming buy the exact fruit that he was vying for?
As they reached back the roof and he once again laid his head down on her lap, he couldn't help but look at the fruit with a scrutinizing gaze.
Yue Li giggled after staying silent for a while and Han Li pushed the complicated thoughts to the back of his mind. He finally had a resource to improve his body.
That was one down the list.
