The sudden turn of events took everyone by surprise. Bruce from the Blood Blade Alliance had no ti to be shocked. He abandoned Mad Face and Max, who were on the brink of death, and dashed back to ensure the safety of the transport target.

Qin Ying and Bai Yang from the Bamboo Gang were startled by the sight of the coffins. They had never inquired about what the Blood Blade was transporting, assuming it was just contraband, sothing unrelated to them.

When Guan Gui appeared, they realized the situation was far more complicated than they had imagined.

Bai Yang felt speechless.

Since he had been killed over a dozen tis in one night by that man in the arena, he had felt frustrated.

Upon hearing about a mission to clear out bandits, he thought he could vent so frustration.

After reviewing the information, he found out that this group of lunatics was just a ragtag bunch, not worth worrying about. Even without Qin Ying, he could have successfully completed the mission with a few more people.

However, on the way, the scouts reported spotting the Blood Blade Alliance, signaling that things might get slightly turbulent, but it shouldn't be much of an issue.

After all, they were all after profit, and there was no reason to fight without a cause. As long as an explanation was provided, both sides would likely remain at peace.

With experts holding the line, he could fight with ease. On the battlefield, he smashed several skulls with his own hands, enjoying the carnage, until Qin Ying summoned him back.

Reluctantly returning, he arrived just in ti to see the coffins open, and the figures within walk out, shrouded in deathly aura.

Initially, when he learned he could face off against people like Luca and Kawina, he was filled with excitent, because they were formidable adversaries.

But now, upon seeing the legendary Black-clothed Death God appear, he had lost any desire to get involved.

This person was too powerful.

Even Qin Ying didn't stand a chance against him, let alone Bai Yang himself.

anwhile, Bruce, the Blood Blade's senior instructor, showed great valor, determined not to let the target slip through his hands, charging to the forefront imdiately.

Crash!!!

The resurrected ones wearing conical hats surrounded him from all directions.

Sparks flew as weapons clashed, the resurrected ones and Bruce locked in a fierce exchange of skills, forcing everyone nearby to retreat.

A powerful shockwave flipped over the jeep where the target was hiding, though its reinforced structure suffered no major damage, at least not enough to cause fatal harm to those inside.

However, it was evident to those watching that Bruce was being overwheld within a minute. In less than five minutes, if he didn't escape, he would surely die.

And he was a senior instructor of the Blood Blade Alliance!

Snake Fang was stunned, having never witnessed a battle at such a high level. The thrill of watching the resurrected ones in action eclipsed his fear, and now he wanted nothing more than to appreciate the fight like a fanboy.

srized, he failed to notice Li Rui beside him, ready to make a move.

On the other side, Michael, who had been lurking at the fringes of the battlefield, killing stealthily, withdrew, signaling others to move in for backup.

Bruce had been his forr teacher, and seeing him in a foul mood, Michael had intentionally brought him along to relax.

Now, Michael could not just watch him die by Guan Gui's hands.

This young man wasn't particularly attached to any woman, going through them in a few months, but he held deep respect for his teachers and elders.

So, despite being only level 25, in his urgency, he maneuvered to the rear, preparing to ambush those resurrected ones.

Heart of Fury activated!

Power surged through him, familiar, as he prepared to intervene.

But upon seeing him, Bruce's face altered: "No! Michael! No!!"

He couldn't provide more specific commands, as the resurrected ones put imnse pressure on him.

Michael, this ti, refused to listen. He crossed the distance, charging in close.

Suddenly, a shriveled hand erged silently and swiftly from the ground, precisely grasping his ankle.

Crash!

Michael was thrown onto his back by an imnse force. Terror filled his heart, his previous worries and anger vanished instantaneously. Even with the Heart of Fury activated, he was insignificant against the power of that hand.

So this was the Black-clothed Death God?

He realized everything was over, his reckless decision had inevitably brought him to his end.

Slash!

Another arm erged from the ground, wielding a Bone Knife, piercing his heart.

Michael, the Blood Blade Alliance's rising star, fell unexpectedly during a seemingly trivial mission.

Bruce, in utmost rage, let out a furious roar, his temples bulging. Activating his ultimate skills, he intended to risk everything.

However, Guan Gui hadn't exerted his full power earlier, planning to draw more enemies in for a decisive resolution.

Now, with his objective achieved, he held back no longer.

Slash!!

Surrounded by resurrected ones, Bruce was cut into three pieces.

The 45th level senior instructor t his demise.

The battlefield fell silent, no one daring to make a sound. Even the mad marauders didn't dare to shout and scream as they usually would.

With Bruce dead so swiftly, who would dare to act recklessly?

Snake Fang snapped out of his imrsive movie experience, belatedly becoming fearful once more.

The Black-clothed Death God was ten thousand tis more terrifying than rumored!

"Li, should we run?" Snake Fang whispered.

Li Rui nodded, preparing to help him.

It seed the mission wouldn't require him to act. The target was beside the resurrected ones, and it would take less than a second for the task to complete.

Now, he only needed to feign fear and run away like an ordinary person, even Liang Qiucheng wouldn't suspect him. It seed the perfect outco.

Yet, life is full of disappointnts, often unexpected. Just as he felt the situation was under control, another change occurred.

An icy chill swept through the air, distinct from the eerie cold that accompanied the coffins, this one was physical.

Everyone watched in astonishnt as an Ice Storm erupted from the resurrected ones' location, soaring dozens of ters into the sky. In an instant, the forrly formidable "beings," along with the remaining Blood Blade Alliance mbers nearby, were frozen into ice sculptures.

Glows from skills shot in from afar, precisely hitting an empty spot at the battlefield's edge.

Boom!!!

A person stood in the crater created by the blast, dressed in black, shielded by three dull Black Shields, deflecting the damage.

A blonde man in a suit appeared on the path behind, accompanied by seven or eight others.

"Rapid Cooling... it's William West!"

Qin Ying's Adam's apple moved; he recognized the sudden appearance of the man in the suit.

This person was as notorious in the chaotic lands as the Black-clothed Death God, and the strong who died at his hands were too many to count even on two hands.

Trap.

Anyone present with so brains realized it now.

This was a plot by the Western Kingdom against Guan Gui; otherwise, it couldn't have been such a coincidence.

One would think encountering the Black-clothed Death God was enough of an anomaly, yet even William, who never let go of his prey, had dived into the ss.

Snake Fang swallowed hard, his voice trembling: "We have to go, quickly, before it's too late. I don't want to die in this godforsaken place. Li, Li?"

He suddenly realized sothing amiss. The man beside him, who monts ago was helping him, was now moving towards the most dangerous area of the battlefield, clad in a strange coat with a black umbrella in hand.

"Hmm?"

Snake Fang scratched his head, "This outfit seems familiar. Dragon Country descent, black umbrella..."

Whoosh—

Mist began to spread silently from around that person.

"Damn, damn, damn, damn, damn!"

"It's him!"
