Chapter 135: Chapter 135: Honorable Demon Witch

The streets were filthy and chaotic, littered with discarded papers, drink cans, and stray dogs.

Guan Gui, dressed in black, leaned against his motorcycle, wearing a face mask that protected against the heavy sand and concealed his appearance.

He waited motionlessly, saying nothing, not looking around, his eyes not even flickering, like a rigid corpse.

This state persisted until a brand new, shiny car pulled up in front of him.

Bang.

A man in a suit, adorned with a bow tie, opened the car door, followed by a black stiletto heel stepping out with a clatter, the slender leg draped in a burgundy gown.

"It’s rare for you to co personally to receive the goods."

The young woman who stepped out was slender, with fair skin, bearing the typical features from the Polar Alliance, pale complexion, and long auburn hair, yet she spoke Dragon Country’s language fluently.

"Thank you."

Guan Gui took the small box she handed over, said nothing more, and turned to ride his motorcycle away.

"Hey, wait a mont."

Guan Gui turned his head to look, still without speaking.

"I’m entering the arena this afternoon. Is there anyone on your side I should spare?"

Guan Gui slightly curled his lips, seemingly attempting to smile: "You’re the princess, it’s up to you."

Roar roar—

The motorcycle roared off into the dust, the butler stepped forward to shield against the dust, sowhat disgruntled by the rude black-clad man, but there was nothing he could do, for he was the Black-clothed Death God.

Kawina Redfield, the young girl, paid no mind and got into the car herself.

"He’s vigilant, couldn’t gather any intelligence."

"You needn’t worry," the butler-like man said, "over in Dragon Country, no powerful figures below level 25 have appeared at this stage."

"Perhaps you’re right." Kawina closed her eyes, "Let’s head back quickly, I want to bathe before entering the Secret Realm."

.....

Li Rui was already lying in the Awakening Chamber but hadn’t entered the Secret Realm, as he just received news that in the next Secret Realm, He Chengli and Huo Yun would encounter each other again. He was repeatedly reminding the two to support each other and strive to pass with a higher completion.

After reiterating a lot, he finally lay down. The support staff, who had been "waiting" impatiently for a long ti, buttoned him up and then clattered away.

Li Rui lay on the chair, closed his eyes to enter the Secret Realm once the countdown ended.

Tweet tweet tweet tweet.

This ti, not only did the weather improve, but the sound of birds chirping was also heard nearby, involuntarily improving one’s mood.

Upon opening his eyes, there was a large rusty iron gate ahead, with a..... puppet sitting on it.

Alard, Li Rui paid no attention to the others around, only scrutinizing this guardian.

"Not the sa as the one during registration."

He breathed a sigh of relief. eting an enemy here might not be a good thing.

At this mont, the puppet sat quietly like an obedient child, its legs dangling from the gate, silently watching everyone without making a sound.

Li Rui didn’t pay much attention either and looked around.

For now, at least twenty people were already in position with faces of various skin tones, mostly standing alone, alert to any living thing around them.

Still, a few people recognized each other and grouped up right from the start.

What surprised Li Rui was that although these people spoke either Western Extre Language or Banluo Language, he understood them clearly, presumably due to a translation effect within the Secret Realm.

From the scattered words he could make out, he caught a few nas that Kong Ji had told him.

"He’s here."

At this mont, the previously silent crowd suddenly parted, revealing a figure with black hair and blue eyes. Judging from his appearance, Li Rui guessed this fellow must be the Little Holy Blade of the Holy Protection High Court.

A thin sword hung from his waist; his profession was Swordsman, sowhat akin to a Sword Cultivator from the Eastern Continent, but not entirely the sa.

As he walked through, everyone involuntarily kept their distance until he reached the other end of the crowd, revealing a red-haired girl wearing leather boots, jodhpurs cinched at the waist, accentuating her notably tall silhouette.

From Li Rui’s vantage point, she was quite pretty.

The Little Holy Blade and the girl exchanged a glance, nodding at each other, seemingly familiar, but with careful observation, they maintained a several-ter distance.

"Hey."

Just then, a cold and firm shout drew everyone’s attention.

A young man with a crew cut and yellow skin erged from another direction.

"I won’t hold back, this is the Secret Realm, you all should be prepared, don’t go crying to your elders after leaving. Where’s that jerk Michael? The sneaky bastard."

He was also speaking in Banluo Language.

Only at this point did everyone fully comprehend who exactly had entered the Secret Realm together.

They didn’t have a powerful organization to rely on, nor were their intelligence abilities sufficient. Previously, they could only hear rumors, uncertain of their reliability, but now they saw it firsthand.

"What a ss."

Li Rui heard soone beside him drawing circles over their chest in prayer, mumbling sothing not quite like the standard prayer.

"The Little Holy Blade, the princess, Bai Yang, Michael, the top four spots are already secured, which ans I can only vie for fifth. Oh dear, what am I going to do, Holy Mother Ignis, please bless ."

This person appeared to be in his thirties, with a full beard giving him a rugged look, emitting a foul stench.

After speaking, he licked his lips; although his mumbling sounded cowardly, he seed not anxious but rather excited.

Upon hearing his hoarse, unpleasant voice, a youth not much older than Li Rui turned pale: "Could, could you be the Demon Witch Zago?!"

"Heh heh." The bearded man chuckled without directly responding.

Li Rui hadn’t heard Kong Ji ntion this Demon Witch Zago, but he didn’t sound like a gentle person, as he also had a nickna.

He familiarly nudged the young man who had turned pale: "How does this Zago compare to those others?"

The other retreated a few steps cautiously, not answering to the stranger.

Zago heard his words and said sinisterly: "Young man, asking carelessly can be deadly. If you question others, I’ll be the first to kill you later."

Li Rui blinked at him, suddenly raising his voice: "Really?! I apologize deeply, esteed Demon Witch."

Zago was taken aback, puzzled by this person’s sudden frenzy.

However, Li Rui didn’t shut up, continuing: "I’ve long heard of your great na. Since you’ve arrived in this Central Ruin, surely the first spot is yours without a doubt."

More and more people were drawn by this voice, glancing over, including the four most favored youth.

The flamboyant Bai Yang twisted his neck and switched to Dragon Country’s language, saying nacingly to Li Rui: "So even the loathed Zago is here, and you dare heap praises, seems you’re no good either. If I see you later, I’ll kill you every ti."

Without a change in expression, Li Rui positioned himself behind Zago.

"Oh my, esteed Demon Witch, this person is terrifying. If he says I’ll die, surely I won’t survive, but I trust you’ll protect your followers, right?"

The Little Holy Blade rolled his eyes, disdainful of such petty provocations, but the princess of the Redfield Clan found it quite amusing.

At this mont, the puppet sitting on the gate, having watched the show for a while, suddenly clapped its hands, drawing attention, then shouted loudly:

"The Central Ruin will soon open, everyone please prepare."
