Chapter 100: Chapter 100: Fight Club

In the suburbs of Qing Garden City, there’s a special place. An asphalt road leads into the depths cloaked with trees. At the entrance, there are no signs—just a closed iron gate—and two people standing guard, preventing any casual entry.

At this mont, a car slowly approached the iron gate at the entrance.

A person wearing a dark, loose shirt walked over, glancing at the lowered car window. Seeing it was a new face, he rudely asked, "What do you want?"

In the passenger seat, Li Rui held out a business card between his fingers. The person didn’t even look at the writing, just glanced at it, recognizing imdiately whose it was, and nervously opened the door.

Li Rui withdrew his hand, chuckled, and said, "Brother Kong’s reputation is really sothing."

He Chengli said, "This place is where those rich kids gather. If Brother Kong is here, he’s the leader, even a ntor to so."

Driving, Huo Yun said, "But a person like him would definitely feel disdain for this place."

The three entered the deeper area, clearly a remodeled factory complex. The reason you can tell it was a factory is not because these wealthy people were unwilling to spend resources on renovation, but because they deliberately retained a rugged industrial feel.

Inside the barbed wire, the main building consists of three parts: the left side glows with neon lights, faintly emitting strong rhythmic music; the right side is unclear, likely another entertainnt facility; the largest part is the middle section, a gigantic iron-clad warehouse.

Li Rui had never seen such a large warehouse, seemingly made by piecing together two or three standard-sized ones.

"Brother Rui, are we just going in like this?" He Chengli asked.

Li Rui thought for a mont, then said, "You two wait outside. I have no background here, so I’ll go in first to scope things out."

Huo Yun chuckled, "So, we don’t need to step in."

"Hey, it’s not about stepping in or not, let’s not ruin the atmosphere."

Li Rui said, "We will win them over with kindness."

He threw on a manager’s jacket and walked into the warehouse.

Sure enough, upon entering, the external industrial vibe vanished, revealing a refined club with various tray-carrying staff moving around the periter.

The middle was cleared, forming a huge space. A group of people gathered nearby, two individuals in the arena clashing, the sound of fists striking continuously echoing.

From a distance, Li Rui noticed the two were using only punches and kicks, without weapons or skills.

Before he could observe further, a waiter in a black vest and white shirt approached, asking, "Sir, would you like sothing?"

On the tray in his hand were various drinks.

Li Rui waved his hand, indicating he didn’t need anything, then asked, "I’m looking for soone. Do you know where Kong Hua is?"

The waiter’s gaze imdiately beca more vigilant, and people around started to surreptitiously scrutinize him.

This wasn’t a place where anyone could just wander in; most people, even if unfamiliar, could at least call out nas. Rarely did anyone co looking for soone.

Moreover, the Kong family wasn’t one of those second or third-tier small families. In the Northwest, there were only five most powerful families, among which the Hea family and the Kong family were the strongest. Although Kong Hua wasn’t a core mber, everyone knew he had a big brother nad Kong Ji, who was the foremost young talent of the Kong family and likely to beco the Patriarch.

Therefore, most of these rich kids knew Kong Hua, many even sought to please him.

Li Rui wasn’t much older than them, but for so reason appeared sowhat out of place here yet remained unfazed. Whoever stared at him got stared back in return.

He thought to himself, "Back when I dismantled people’s windows, with dozens of grandpas and grandmas watching below, I never felt afraid."

Before long, a group of young people evidently belonging to a clique approached, the leader wore shorts and a short sleeve, combat boots on his feet, flipping a knife casually.

Clearly trying to project a tough image, but unable to hide the youthful face, seemingly younger than Li Rui, probably about Wang Jia’s age.

"Who are you? What do you want with ?"

Li Rui put on a professional smile: "Hello, Kong Ji asked

to find you. Co with

for so business."

Kong Hua glanced, seemingly helpless, at his companions, then burst into laughter, "Who wants to do business with you? Tell him, stop sending people to bother ."

Li Rui was sowhat surprised. Up until now, in the Northwest, he hadn’t encountered anyone displaying such an attitude toward Kong Ji, yet this "little brother" of Kong Ji seed to be dismissive.

He didn’t ask whether this "little brother" was real or a taphorical relationship, but their bond might be complex.

"Sorry, I’m here on a paid job, you need to co with ."

Li Rui glanced at the people fighting in the arena, "If you don’t co, I’ll beat you up and carry you away. That’s my assignnt."

He was generally respectful towards clients. However, this ti, the client wasn’t the rebellious youth in front of him, but Kong Ji, who had explicitly said to act accordingly if needed.

"Paid job? Another bodyguard he hired?"

Kong Hua seed quite impatient. After all, if Kong Ji hired a bodyguard, their skills wouldn’t be lacking, making it easy to take him away.

"I’m not a bodyguard, just handling your next Secret Realm." Li Rui said.

"Secret Realm?"

Kong Hua clearly didn’t expect that, "How will you manage

after I enter the Secret Realm?"

"I’ll go in with you." Li Rui replied.

"Pfft, ha ha ha."

Kong Hua and the young n and won behind him laughed.

"So, you’re not even level 20, yet you dare co here saying you’ll beat ?"

He laughed exaggeratedly, "You like money, right? I’ll offer twenty thousand. You see those two fighting in the ring? Defeat the winner among them, and it’s yours, and I’ll go with you. If you can’t win, go back and tell your employer not to send anyone again."

Li Rui didn’t mind his scornful words, noticing instead that Kong Hua wasn’t entirely opposed to leaving, seemingly wary of Kong Ji’s demands.

"Alright then."

Nonetheless, he wouldn’t refuse money-making opportunities.

Kong Hua said, "Hey, don’t rush into agreent. We have rules here. Fighting is fighting; you can’t use any attack skills, weapons, or items, regardless of your profession, you must comply."

"You an active skills are forbidden, or just pure attack skills?"

"No, state skills can be used. Everyone here in the ring uses them. But be warned, fists and kicks have no eyes; if tendons get torn or bones get broken, it’s your responsibility."

Seeing his overly confident expression, Li Rui nearly burst out laughing.

Until now, he hadn’t encountered state skills stronger than Shenxiao Thunderbolt Heart Scripture.

"Settled then."
