Lin Lee speechlessly glanced at the happy smile on the village chief’s face.
’This guy would definitely send away or kick out of the village if I wasn’t useful; every living creature pursues the benefits.’
A thought flashed through Lin Lee’s heart, and then he nodded calmly and walked inside the house, following the village chief.
Inside the guest room, Lin Lee saw a familiar giant sitting inside with a missing leg; instead, there was a tallic leg with gears.
The giant also noticed his arrival, and a surprise flashed through his eyes as he looked at Lin Lee’s face and height. Then he glanced at the village chief and spoke,
"Big brother, have you found a son-in-law for your daughters? This boy is handso."
Instantly, the village chief’s face changed, and Lin Lee’s mouth also twitched, looking at him speechlessly.
’It seems there must be a huge reason behind this guy’s broken leg.’ Lin Lee thought in his heart,
"Shut your mouth, this is your excellency. Lin Lee, he is a famous weapon master; be respectful." The village chief hurriedly scolded him, looking at him, and then glanced at Lin Lee and spoke apologetically.
"I am sorry, your excellency, this is my little brother Jill; he is a little foul-mouthed; please don’t mind his words." Then he gestured at the seat in front and added,
"Please sit down,"
Lin Lee shook his head and replied, "It doesn’t matter; I am not a narrow-minded person."
Then he glanced at Jill’s changing expression and walked forward, sitting down on the seat.
"I am sorry, your excellency, I didn’t know." Jill hurriedly apologized after he ca back to his senses.
Lin Lee shook his head again and replied, "It doesn’t matter," then he glanced at the tallic leg with gear above his leg.
"It’s damaged because of your body weight; so gears are broken inside. Replacing them with tough tal parts will restore it and increase its performance and durability."
Lin Lee spoke, pointing at the tallic leg; instantly, both the village chief’s and Jill’s eyes lit up, and then Jill asked, looking at him, "Your Excellency, can you fix it?"
Lin Lee nodded and replied, "I can fix it, but so ti is required as I don’t have suitable equipnt and tal."
At this ti, the village chief spoke.
"Your Excellency, don’t worry about weapons and equipnt; our village has a dedicated weapon mountain; our village weapon master lives there, but because of his old age, he can’t manufacture weapons anymore."
After telling about the previous village master, both Jill and Jin sighed, looking at each other.
Lin Lee nodded, looking at both of them thoughtfully, then the village chief walked away saying,
"Your Excellency, please wait; let bring those manuscripts I talked about before."
Lin Lee glanced at the village chief leaving the guest hall, and then he glanced at Jill’s broken leg and asked, "What happened to your leg?"
Jill was startled, and then his mouth twitched, and he spoke,
"Your Excellency, It seems you held a grudge against because of my previous words; that’s why you are trying to scratch my old wound."
Lin Lee beca speechless looking at his twitching expression, and then he shook his head and replied, "I just asked casually; it’s just I am curious because such a condition is rare among giants. Don’t tell if you don’t want to."
Jill signed hearing his words and replied,
"It broke during the adulthood competition; at first it was just a foot sprain; I didn’t care, and then sohow my whole foot turned blue-black and stopped working; it was probably so kind of poison spreading through my feet; I had to cut my leg before it could spread through my other body parts,"
Lin Lee raised his brow hearing his words.
’It must be a neural blockage because of blood pressure; those black and blue were dirty blood clots. If he punctured his skin in that place and removed that dirty blood, then his leg could survive. It seems there is no dical knowledge; this world is almost at an early stage of developnt, like the caven era.’
He thought to himself, looking at Jill’s leg, and then sighed and replied, "Don’t worry, I will try making a good prosthetic limb for you."
"Prosthetic limb?" Jill asked confusedly; Lin Lee shook his head and replied, "It’s another na for the tallic leg."
Jill nodded and then thanked with a grateful expression on his face, "Thank you."
At this ti, the village chief appeared with a giant female with a six-ter height behind him; she was grabbing a tray with rock glass and a few pieces of at. After putting them in front of Lin Lee, she glanced at him shyly and left the hall.
Lin Lee beca speechless looking at the smile on the village chief’s face, then he asked, ignoring the strange atmosphere, "Village chief, did you bring the manuscript?"
The village chief nodded and then raised his hand and passed the few skin scrolls toward Lin Lee and spoke solemnly,
"I collected them in these years in order to manufacture a unique weapon belonging to our village and upgrade the village to a city officially, but unfortunately intact manuscripts are very rare and expensive."
Lin Lee was startled and then grabbed the skin scrolls. After putting them aside, he opened one, looking at the hamr-shaped picture. There is also a parts diagram below, but the scroll is half torn and the lower area is missing.
Then he opened the other scrolls, another diagram of a crossbow-shaped weapon, but there are burn marks on the whole skin hiding the diagrams below.
After seeing all the diagrams and weapons, he put them back, then closed his eyes and started analyzing the missing parts, combining them with the pictures.
After a while he opened his eyes and glanced at the village chief and spoke,
"All these manuscripts can be repaired, but I will try repairing them and manufacturing these weapons in one year because I will stay in this village for only one year, then I will return to my hotown,"
After speaking, Lin Lee fell silent, looking at the village chief. Jill was also shocked by Lin Lee’s affirmation that the manuscript could be repaired, and then he glanced at the village chief, waiting for his answer.
’I have to leave next year because my height will increase to the next stage eight. I don’t want my secret of practice to leak out, or I will fall into huge trouble.’
Lin Lee thought to himself, looking at the village chief silently; actually, staying in the village for one year is very beneficial for the village.
The village chief thought for a while, and then he glanced at Lin Lee and replied,
"It’s okay if your excellency wants to leave after a year, but I want your excellency to manufacture only one weapon in exchange. Our village will do one thing for you in its capacity."
Lin Lee was startled and asked, "Do you want to manufacture a unique weapon for your village?"
The village chief nodded and pointed at the hamr weapon manuscript scroll and said, "Your Excellency, I want you to create a hamr weapon more powerful than the one in this manuscript."
Lin Lee glanced at the manuscript and nodded, replying,
"Deal, I want all kinds of tals for testing; gather every kind of tal you can collect. Also, as for my request, I want your village to gather plants and herbs similar to these."
At the sa ti, Lin Lee grabbed a scroll from his back and passed it to the village chief.
The village chief was startled, and he opened the scroll, looking at different shapes of plants and dicine diagrams.
"So of these plants are familiar; I have seen them sowhere, but others are unknown plants; anyway, we will help you collect them all in large quantities."
The village chief replied with a thoughtful look on his face and then closed the scroll.
After eating the al, the village chief took him to the weapon-forging mountain, also showing him the residence inside the sa mountain.
After a while,
Lin Lee sent the village chief away and walked inside the huge room, which is his residence.
"Well, next let them search and bring these plants, which can affect the blood. I didn’t expect there would be such blood-efficient dicine plants lying everywhere in this world, and giants consider so of them poisonous plants, let alone eating; no one dares to touch them."
Lin Lee muttered and then lay down on the rock bed, then closed his eyes, brainstorming about the next plan and the weapon he is going to manufacture.
After a while, he stood up and started imitating the stances one by one.
Instantly a red luster covered his whole body, and he felt a warm current rising from his stomach and spreading through his whole body, and then it disappeared.
Lin Lee stopped practicing and opened his eyes, clenching his fist, and muttered,
"A year as a stage, I will reach a legendary giant stage at the age of twelve, then what? It seems I have to upgrade the technique I am practicing and find a way to break through ahead."
