After putting down the drinks, Takasu Ryuji said, "I guess I was lucky. I just saw a 'help wanted' sign for this place, so I ca to try my luck. The manager is very nice. She had previously hired a Senpai with a similarly fierce expression, so she didn't mind . After she learned I could cook, she said she'd let help in the kitchen first, and then learn to deliver food out front. It took a long ti just to correct my expression. This is my first delivery, and I ended up running into familiar faces."

Eriri looked at Takasu Ryuji's attire and said with a smile, "Isn't this great? Takasu-san, you used to be a bit introverted. A restaurant job like this is really good for character building. And when you et Kushieda-san later, you'll have sothing in common..."

Mid-sentence, Eriri imdiately covered her mouth, realizing she seed to have said sothing wrong.

Unfortunately, most of it had already been said.

A blush of embarrassnt appeared on Takasu Ryuji's old face, and he looked at his good friend, saying, "You, don't just blurt things out, okay?"

Spreading his hands, Kaede said innocently, "Don't look at like that. I didn't say anything. Eriri figured it out herself."

"Uh..."

"What, don't you believe it?"

Seeing that Eriri had already said it herself, Kaede no longer hid it and said directly, "During Golden Week, when we were out for tutoring, we ran into Kushieda-san working part-ti. It's perfectly normal for Eriri to have noticed your reaction then. If you have to bla anyone, bla yourself for not covering it up well, friend."

"So... so that's what happened?"

Takasu Ryuji looked at Eriri, and seeing her nodding in agreent, he could only scratch his head helplessly, "Well... Sawamura-san, please, please don't tell anyone."

Eriri, of course, had no problem with that, and nodded, "Don't worry, I promise."

What's the fun in telling everyone about sothing like this? It's much better to quietly observe from the sidelines.

However, Eriri herself didn't realize that she and Kaede were also the target of many onlookers, including but not limited to both their parents and the editors from the editorial departnt.

After the drinks were delivered, Takasu Ryuji had other work and didn't linger, returning directly to the kitchen.

When he t Shirogane Miyuki, he also ntioned that the two custors were his classmates.

Shirogane Miyuki suddenly understood: "I didn't realize they were your classmates! That's quite a coincidence. But it's good this way; with familiar faces, you should be more relaxed and have more confidence in your upcoming work, right?"

Nodding, Takasu Ryuji said, "Yes, it doesn't feel too difficult. I just need to stay calm. Also, thank you for your help, Shirogane-senpai."

Shirogane Miyuki had started working here earlier than Takasu Ryuji. The mont he saw Takasu Ryuji, he felt that the other person was sowhat similar to himself. However, Shirogane Miyuki's sowhat fierce gaze was due to dark circles from lack of sleep, while Takasu Ryuji's was natural.

But this didn't prevent Shirogane Miyuki from offering so advice, especially for working in a restaurant, where controlling one's expression is very important.

Glancing at the dining area, Shirogane Miyuki leaned close to Takasu Ryuji and whispered, "Takasu, are those two classmates of yours dating? Are they out on a date today?"

Takasu Ryuji didn't expect such a question and shook his head, saying, "As far as I know, they aren't dating yet."

However, judging by the current situation, it was only a matter of ti.

While thinking, Takasu Ryuji also noticed a hint of envy in Shirogane Miyuki's eyes and asked, "Senpai, you're the Student Council President at Shuchiin. Being so excellent, you shouldn't lack girls pursuing you, right?"

"Uh... Ahaha, this..."

Scratching his head, Shirogane Miyuki, not knowing how to explain, quickly left under the pretense of work.

Watching Shirogane Miyuki's retreating figure, Takasu Ryuji stroked his chin and pondered, "Could it be that Senpai also has the sa problem as ? That shouldn't be."

Fifteen minutes later, Shirogane Miyuki and Takasu Ryuji ca over together, carrying the items Kaede and Eriri had ordered.

"Sorry for the wait."

After placing the steaming hot food down, Shirogane Miyuki said with a smile, "I didn't introduce myself earlier. I'm Shirogane Miyuki, currently a second-year student at Shuchiin Academy High School. I just heard from Takasu that you are his classmates."

Shirogane Miyuki? Student Council President?

Kaede and Eriri exchanged glances, and the image of Fujiwara Chika, whom they had seen not long ago, flashed through their minds.

Kaede felt like he had a jinx on him, that his words ca true. He had just wondered if he would see another mber of the Shuchiin Student Council, and here he was, eting President Shirogane Miyuki directly.

The two also quickly introduced themselves. Eriri looked at Shirogane Miyuki and thought, "My mom told that the position of Shuchiin Student Council President was rarely taken by an externally admitted student, and his na was Shirogane Miyuki? Senpai, that wouldn't be you, would it?"

"Ahaha, I didn't expect you to know! I was just lucky back then to get the Student Council President position. It was very difficult to adapt to it."

As Shirogane Miyuki spoke, an expression of emotion appeared on his face. The situation back then was indeed very difficult.

Takasu Ryuji also said from the side, "After I got the job, Shirogane-senpai helped a lot. Honestly, if it weren't for his help, I wouldn't have been able to adapt to this job so quickly."

Patting Takasu Ryuji on the shoulder, Shirogane Miyuki said with a smile, "I just gave so guidance; most of it was your own effort, Takasu. All right, we won't disturb you two from enjoying your lunch. We should get back to work."

After Shirogane Miyuki and Takasu Ryuji left, Eriri couldn't wait any longer. She picked up a slice of pizza, took a happy bite, and said, "To be the Student Council President of Shuchiin, he must be a very excellent person. Takasu working here will probably gain a lot as well."

Kaede nodded in agreent: "It's certainly a good thing. Judging by Shirogane Miyuki's appearance, he seems to have been working part-ti for a while. You also said he's an externally admitted student, so his family background is probably ordinary. He should be able to help Takasu grow a lot, so we friends don't have to worry too much. Originally, I was thinking of having him work part-ti at the Bunko during the sumr vacation, but it seems that won't be necessary now. By the way, how's the pizza?"

"It's delicious!"

"Then I won't be polite either."

With that, Kaede also picked up a slice of pizza and ate it heartily.
