When the call ca, Eriri had just arrived at Kaede's house less than ten minutes ago. The two had just sat down in Kaede's bedroom.

Seeing the caller ID, Eriri excitedly exchanged glances with Kaede and answered the phone.

"Hello, Editor Izumi?"

"Good morning, Eriri, I'm here to report good news to you." Izumi Kaori said with a smile, "The serialization eting just ended. Your and Asakura-kun's manga successfully obtained serialization rights and will be serialized for the first ti in Jump in early August!"

"It really passed? That's great!"

Eriri shouted excitedly and imdiately hugged Kaede, who was beside her.

"Kaede-kun! It passed!"

"Mhm, I heard you."

Hugging Eriri, Kaede's face also broke into a smile.

On the other end of the phone, Izumi Kaori, upon hearing Kaede's voice, checked the ti and, recalling the two's romantic relationship, was caught off guard and fed a dose of public display of affection. She had thought Eriri would be at her own ho at this ti, but it turned out she was with her boyfriend.

As an editor, she suddenly had a premonition that the number of tis she would be fed public displays of affection in the future would definitely not be small.

Holding the phone, she waited for the two on the other end to be excited for a while before she said, "It's best if Asakura-kun is there too; no need for separate notification. If the two of you have ti, you can co to the editorial departnt to sign the contract."

"Okay, we understand! Can we do it this afternoon?"

Eriri was excited at this mont and couldn't wait to rush to the Jump headquarters to sign the contract imdiately.

"This afternoon? I understand. I'll be waiting for your visit at the editorial departnt."

The call ended, Eriri put down her phone and once again threw herself into Kaede's arms.

"Kaede-kun, it worked! It worked!"

Eriri hugged him tightly, and Kaede couldn't help but feel a bit overwheld. He quickly said, "Alright, settle down, Eriri. If you keep this up, things might get a little out of hand."

At Kaede's words, Eriri's face turned red as she realized, and she quickly got out of his embrace, saying, "H!"

"Tch, you can't bla for this, can you? With you rubbing against like that, it would be abnormal not to have so reaction, wouldn't it?"

Kaede's words left Eriri truly powerless to refute. She could only turn her back, pick up her phone, and report the good news to her mother.

Patting her head, Kaede walked out of the room and went downstairs to tell his parents about it.

Although Eriri had co today, his mother had already prepared a lot of delicious food and felt that they would definitely pass, but telling her this news would make her even happier.

As expected, upon learning that the serialization had passed, his mother imdiately took out several pieces of wagyu beef she had just bought for dinner and prepared to cook them for lunch.

Hmm... just stay calm, get used to it, get used to it.

At noon, they naturally enjoyed a grand al prepared by his mother. After a short rest, the Asakura couple drove Kaede and Eriri to the Jump headquarters.

Not just the Asakura couple, but Sawamura Sayuri also arrived almost at the sa ti as them.

After they t, Kaede was surprised to find that his father and Sawamura Sayuri already knew each other, and the three of them were chatting and laughing together.

Eriri walked beside Kaede and quietly asked, "Kaede-kun, when did Uncle get to know my mother?"

"If you ask , I don't know either. I guess it's those parents of ours, maybe they t for dinner one day. After all, our relationship..."

"Our... what relationship are we..."

Eriri stamred, glancing at the elders on both sides. Anyone who didn't know would think the two children were about to get married.

Kaede smiled without speaking, holding Eriri's small hand, and together they entered the Shueisha headquarters.

Upon arriving at the editorial departnt, the contracts were naturally reviewed and signed by Asakura Kiichi and Sawamura Sayuri. They had seen many such docunts and would not let their children be taken advantage of.

After reading and confirming there were no problems, they then signed the contract.

Putting away the contract, Izumi Kaori shook hands with everyone and said with a smile, "Well then, please take care of from now on. Whether it's about the manga's serialization or plot issues, feel free to discuss them with . I will do my best to assist both of you."

After coming out of the headquarters, Reiko said with a smile, "Oh, I didn't expect to have been to the Jump headquarters myself. It feels really good!"

Asakura Kiichi said with a laugh, "Hahaha, but compared to that, I think we should first choose a restaurant and have dinner together tonight to celebrate?"

"I think that's a good idea."

Sawamura Sayuri imdiately agreed: "Yes, both sides have ti today, so having dinner together tonight would be perfect."

Emmm~~~~

Kaede showed an amused expression and glanced at Eriri beside him. The girl's face was already flushed, and she dared not speak.

Sawamura Sayuri saw her daughter's shyness. Although she wouldn't say much, her actions showed no dissatisfaction. As she walked towards the parking lot, she took out her phone and started contacting restaurants.

Just then, Kaede's phone rang.

"Takasu's call?"

With doubt, Kaede pressed answer.

"Takasu..."

"Asakura save !!!"

"..."

Kaede's expression was blank, sowhat unsure what to say.

Scratching his head, he said sowhat strangely, "Takasu, third ti's the charm, why are you doing this again?"

"No, this ti it's different! I can't explain it over the phone, just co to my house first, I'll send you the address! Ah, Mom, don't hit ! Beep... beep..."

Looking at the disconnected call, Kaede realized belatedly, "He must have been caught working part-ti."

No choice, he had to go.

After telling Eriri and the elders, Kaede left alone first and headed to Takasu Ryuji's house, agreeing to et up directly for dinner later.

Half an hour later, Kaede arrived at the entrance of Takasu Ryuji's house, in front of a sowhat old apartnt building.

He rang the doorbell, and after a short while, Kaede heard footsteps. The door opened, and Takasu Ryuji appeared before him.

"Phew... Asakura, you're finally here."

"Yo!" Raising his hand to greet Takasu Ryuji, Kaede said, "Still alive?"

"Can you say sothing nice? I'm doing pretty well to have lasted this long; you don't know how terrifying the scene was!" As he spoke, Takasu Ryuji stepped aside, letting the other person in.

"What could be so terrifying? Aunt Yasuko wouldn't really kill you, would she? It's just a part-ti job, isn't it?"

As he was speaking, he saw another pair of won's leather shoes in the entryway. From the style, he knew they weren't worn by Takasu Yasuko.

"...Takasu." Looking at his good friend, Kaede said in shock, "You didn't find so girl from a special industry and bring her ho, did you? If so, I really can't save you."

"No, it's not!!!"
