"Leader, those blue idiots are starting a war against our Tyrant Clan!"
"I KNOW!"
Olivius erupted in rage upon learning the truth — that the equipnt had been deliberately damaged, and that the rciless Clan was not responsible.
His roar released a pseudo-shockwave that stunned everyone present.
This was their leader's aura. So overbearing and so oppressive.
The calm, intelligent deanor he usually exuded was nowhere to be found. Standing before them now an overbearing beast, ready to devour anyone who dared oppose him.
'So this is the real Olivius…' Eman muttered in disbelief.
[Behind his eerie calmness lies a hidden beast. His true nature is that of an impulsive man who delights in crushing his opponent with brute force. His deanor is rely a mask to mislead his rivals.] The system replied to him.
Three people with swollen faces were kneeling in front of Olivius and his n. They were the perpetrators. They had already been beaten, yet despite their injuries, they remained on their knees.
Off to the side, Eman observed the entire scene in silence. His expression was calm.
After thoroughly inspecting the damaged equipnt, Olivius frowned deeply. The damage went far beyond simple scratches. Even an amateur could tell that such deep dents and marks could only have been inflected deliberately.
In short, unless the rciless Clan was tired of existing, they would never do such a thing. Moreover, the rciless Clan was well-known for their reliability. Eman had even presented records of their past services. Every task was done clean and with no irregularities.
"Let's kill these rats!" One of the mbers shouted, pointing to the perpetrators.
The three trembled in terror when they heard it. They should have fled when they still had a chance. They never expected the rciless Clan leader to successfully persuade Olivius.
How did he manage to do it? What trick did he use to make Olivius believe him? Knowing Olivius' personality, persuasion should have been impossible — especially if the one persuading him was just a re low rank student.
The perpetrators stated Eman in disbelief.
'Who is this bastard? How did he do it?'
They began begging and crying for their lives.
"Please, don't kill us!"
One of the mbers grew annoyed and kicked one of them in the back.
"Shut your f*cking mouth!"
Thud!
"Ugh!"
Blood splattered from his mouth.
"Leader, we can't let those foolish blue idiots ss with us without paying consequences. Let's show them who they ssed with!"
"That's right!"
Everyone seed to agree. Their eyes turned toward Olivius, burning with the sa desire — revenge.
Olivius' eyes flickered.
"Since war is what they want, we'll give it to them. Prepare for battle!"
"Yes, sir!" Everyone shouted in unison.
Olivius then turned to Eun. "Call the elites and the high officials. We need to discuss so important matters."
Eun nodded silently. She knew that once Olivius reached this state, no words could stop him.
"This will be bloody."
Eman heard Eun whispered those words before she left.
He could sense her worry. Perhaps she disliked war. Eman shook the thought aside. His main reason for coming here has already been fulfilled.
"Now it's ti for business," Eman whispered.
He approached Olivius and said, "Olivius, can we talk in private? There's sothing I want to tell you."
The mont he spoke, several cold gazes locked onto him, sharp as daggers. It felt as though he were a criminal standing before a guillotine, awaiting judgent.
'Who the hell is this idiot, casually calling our leader by na? Is he looking to die?' Most of them thought.
…
anwhile, back at the rciless Clan barracks, Hirro repeatedly slamd his fist against the wall until it turned red and swollen.
"F*ck! I shouldn't have agreed to let Eman go alone! If anything happens to him, I'll never forgive myself!"
"I know it was wrong to let the leader go alone, but Hirro dear, please stop hurting yourself," Paula said worriedly.
Fatsu crossed his arms over his plump torso, anxiously tapping his fingers against his elbow.
Faye, on the other hand, looked ready to rush out and follow their leader at any mont. It had already been over an hour since Eman left for the Tyrant Clan headquarters, yet there was still no news.
Even Paula, who was busy stopping Hirro, failed to notice that his makeup was slightly sared. If he went outside like that, he would probably scare the children on the street.
The atmosphere inside the barracks was heavy.
Then ca a creaking noise.
Creeeak—
The sound of the door opening broke the silence.
Everyone turned their heads.
Eman walking in.
He frowned when he saw their expression. It was as if they had just seen a ghost.
Glancing at eveyone, "What's wrong?" He asked calmly.
"Bro!"
"Lead!"
Hirro responded the fastest. He jumped to his feet and rushed over, checking Eman from head to toe.
"Are you okay? Did they do anything to you?"
Eman gently pushed Hirro's face away. "I'm fine. Anyway, all of you get ready. We'll be busy from now on."
Everyone imdiately tensed.
"A-a-a-are they going to attack us?!" Fatsu stamred.
"Oh no, we're done for!" Faye grabbed his head and shouted.
"No way…" Hirro looked as if his world was collapsing.
"So this is the end…" Paula's voice laced with regret.
Then suddenly, he looked at Eman with pleading eyes.
"Lead, since this might be our end, can you at least let kiss you once?"
Eman nearly choked on his own saliva.
"Paula, you almost gave a heart attack."
"Because this is our downfall!"
"How did you call it a downfall when we already at the bottom?" Faye shot back at Paula.
"So… a pitfall?"
Pffft—
Eman chuckled. "Anyway, this isn't the end nor a pitfall, but the beginning of our glory."
The four exchanged confused glances.
"Bro, what do you an by that?"
He didn't answer. Instead, he motioned for everyone to follow him.
They gathered around the table as Eman explained what had happened during his eting with Olivius.
A couple of minutes later—
"What? They're not attacking us — but declaring a war on the Blue Serpent Clan, one of the three great clans along with the Tyrant Clan?!" They asked at the sa ti.
Eman smiled.
"That's right. And that's exactly why we're taking advantage of it."
