"I thought it would be difficult and scary to ride, but Sphin is very comfortable and stable. It seems I am just riding a horse on flat ground," Zennie said with a heave of relief. All worries about falling to the ground disappeared and only fascination remained.

"Right, right."

Sol agreed with her.

"It’s good that you feel the sa way, but aren’t you hugging him tightly, Miss Sol?" Zennie was a little red.

Also with a slightly red face, Sol said, "Hm, it’s because I will fall if I don’t."

"But the expression on your face looks like you’re having fun though." Also, she just said Sphin was comfortable to ride.

Zennie had no idea the depth of friendship between Sol and Eman but according to what she heard, they should be a month old friends. Is it enough ti for them to build a much deeper relationship than friendship? She wondered.

"Do I? Wait, aren’t you jealous?"

"J-j-j-j-jealous? W-w-what are you saying, Lady Sol?" Zennie looked flustered.

There was a troubled expression on Eman’s face as he listened to them.

"It’s good that the weather is nice today." He said to himself.

It wasn’t his purpose to derail their conversation, but it seed one of them caught his words.

"You’re right, Eman. However, with the current situation of the empire, I’m not sure if everyone can appreciate it," Zennie said in a voice tingling with a little sadness. The mood suddenly dropped and Eman regretted what he said. It seed he ruined the mood all of a sudden.

"I can’t disagree so much, Lady Zennie. By the way, Eman. When I passed by the capital city, I saw more people gathering on the streets. It seed the crisis caused by the lack of dicine had fully developed into a more dangerous situation," Sol suddenly recalled.

"I see. That’s terrible," Eman replied.

"I’m sure it wasn’t normal. I’m guessing soone is behind all of this," said Zennie.

Suddenly, Sol chuckled.

"Ufufu. That’s a nice guesswork, Lady Zennie. However, do you have in mind who is the culprit?" She asked her.

Zennie shook her head. "I don’t know. I can’t think of any."

"Oh, in that case, let revise my question. Who will benefit in this situation?" Sol told her.

"Hmm… who will benefit…"

Zennie fell into a deep thinking.

Eman could understand Zennie’s lack of information though. She was just a newbie about the world outside her territory. Not to underestimate her, but most probably, her information at hand only spanned or revolved around her territory so far.

It seed Sol was helping her realize the situation. Honestly, it would be fine if Zennie didn’t stress out about the situation in the capital. But, Eman also thought that it was fine for the two ladies to have sothing to talk about while they were on this trip.

In this way, they would develop a bond which is necessary for them to build a good connection. Since from now on their companies will be associated with each other, forming a bond is necessary. And one of the most effective starts is interchanging information regarding their surroundings.

Eman was happy that Zennie and Sol seed compatible talking with each other.

Sol was not an outspoken person either, however, maybe that only applies depending on who she was talking with. If she was talking with soone like Zennie, she tended to be more talkative than usual unlike when she was with Mina and the imperial princess where her words were few and asured when talking to them.

Well, the reason for it was not because she was shy to them, nor was she having an inferiority complex. That is not possible for soone who was looking at humans as if they were insects. The reason for her thrifty words when talking with those two was to avoid blurting out information unnecessarily.

On the other hand, Zennie was easy to talk to. She was kind and courageous as well. Only that, she lacked knowledge about the outside world. However, that doesn’t an she was stupid, in fact she was keen and smart. Eman realized it when he was talking with her. Zennie could easily grasp their topics.

"Wait… do you an the anti-faction?" Zennie replied to Sol’s question.

"Hm, I wonder." Sol tilted her head to the side.

"Aren’t you going to tell if I’m wrong or not?"

"Yeah, if the paynt is right. What do you think?"

Ehh!

Zennie realized how cunning Sol was. She was making her curious and then asking her for a paynt afterward.

"Are you a broker?"

"Hm, it’s exactly because I bought them from my broker that I have to profit from it as well."

In Zennie’s mind, ’She’s a rchant through and through.’

Eman could only chuckle secretly while listening to them.

It didn’t take long for them to traverse a few kiloters from the Sunville Village. Looking below, they were currently above the sea of trees.

With their current pace, it won’t take long for them to reach Zennie’s town. That is if there is no obstacle.

The scenery below kept changing every minute and every few minutes. As for their route, they could only rely on it from the map that Rossbert gave to him.

As for the reason why he was along with Zennie, well, Rossbert asked him for it in exchange for hiding his secret. Even though it wasn’t in his plan to visit the Rothsport Town, it can’t be helped, he needed to do this.

Upon hearing his plan, Sol also insisted on going with them. At first, Eman was against it, but he realized that it might benefit her. Also, her pouting face is unbearable to look at. Did he beco weak against her? Eman couldn’t help but ask himself.

About an hour and a half later, the group finally reached a mountainous region.

"According to the map, this place is called Dark Summit."

Gulp~

He heard a gulping sound. It wasn’t from Sol but from Zennie.

"So we are finally here. I heard many things about this place."

"Oh, so you know about it," Eman glanced behind.

Zennie nodded. "Yes, I heard many rumors."

The mountains around them were high enough to penetrate the clouds and high enough to block the sun, casting a wide shadow in front of it.

"It’s kinda cold suddenly." Eman felt Sol’s breath behind him.

When he glanced behind, he noticed Sol and Zennie slightly trembling. No wonder they suddenly turned silent.

Although it was warm just a while ago, it suddenly turned cold after reaching this area. The temperature is not as cold as winter but cold enough to tremble them a little.

"Sphin."

"Yes, Master."

Suddenly, an erald energy sphere surrounded them like a thin layered shield.

"Eh? What is this? It suddenly turned warm," Zennie asked.

Eman smiled wryly. "Don’t worry about it. It is just cold protection." He asked Sphin to learn about it. It was similar to Amber’s technique.

"Ohh."

"Eman, sothing’s approaching," Sol warned out of a sudden.
